Perched a short drive above the town, this is a wonderful retreat from the busy town with great views in all directions. While we were driving, we opeted for a taxi into and back from restaurants at night in Aosta. Our last night we made a reservation at a restaurant within easy walking distance, further uphill from the resort. Finally, the public areas are delightful, the breakfasts good and the decor incorporates so many historic rustic elements--almost museum like. We recommend it highly as we based here for several nights and enjoyed a very nice suite!

I paid 330 Euro for ONE night. Air-conditioning not working properly - just the fan was running but didn't get any colder, so room temperature around 32C in the night. Ended up sleeping at the little balcony. One Star but breakfast buffet was really great, so 2 stars.

We loved this place and want to go back. It has so much character and charm and is located in a beautiful place. The amenities were great. The only negative, is the bed was not very comfortable.
