From the very beginning, our stay has been disappointing for several reasons: - Unprofessional check-in experience – Upon arrival, staff members were shouting at each other at the front desk. - ⁠No room key provided – We were not given a key at check-in and were told to rely on the maid to let us in and out of our room until a key was available. - ⁠Misleading information about dining options – The hotel is advertised as having three restaurants included in the all-inclusive package, but in reality, only one is available to us. - ⁠Food quality issues – At breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the food is consistently cold unless we arrive the second it is put out. - ⁠Poor drink selection and service – Only three basic cocktails are offered, drinks are only available until 10:00 PM, and there is no table service for drinks during meals — guests must queue themselves. - ⁠Rude service – Staff have been dismissive and at times rude when approached for simple requests, such as asking for towels. - ⁠Lack of communication about major disruptions – On day 5 and 6 of our stay, a presidential meeting is being hosted at the hotel. No advance notice was given, and were not able to use the hotel parking (despite using it every day previously) and must enter and exit through a back entrance. - ⁠Spa – The spa desk has been unmanned every time we’ve visited, making it impossible to book any treatments. - ⁠Beach bar closure on 2 days, we asked the staff member if it could be opened, we were ignored.
