Gutes, schlichtes Hotel mit gutem Preis/Leistungs- Verhältnis. Kein Hilton, aber auch keine Hilton Preise. Wer das braucht muß bei Hilton einschecken. Wer hier einschenkt bekommt eine gute Unterkunft mit guten Betten in denen man gut und ruhig schläft (keine Geräusche von den Nachbarräumen). Nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal. Dazu kommt noch die super Lage des Hotels. Alles, einschließlich guter Restaurants gleich um die "Ecke".

This was the best place I stayed in during my entire vacation in Germany. I especially liked the optional lunch meals that the staff prepared while I was eating breakfast, Enjoyed Live music in the evening from the restaurant next door. This property was an exceptional value.

Clean hotel with friendly staff and nice breakfast. The room was comfortable and large and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The only issue is that the hotel was at one time deocorated with string lights. These lights no longer work, their cord is visible with broken and missing bulbs, and it appears it has been some time since they were operational. It would seem someone would take them down by now.

Enjoyed our stay. Lovely, large room and balcony. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. We had a car with us but found we hardly needed it as there is a bus stop and train station very close and the public transport takes you easily to most popular locations. Downside perhaps was that the hotel is on a moderately busy road so some traffic noise.

La vue sur les montagnes est vraiment magnifique et il est très facile de se rendre au Königsee et au téléphérique Jennerbahn depuis l’hôtel (environ 15 minutes en voiture). À notre arrivée, on nous a remis un accès par courriel qui donne des rabais sur certaines activités et rend les transports en commun gratuits.

First stop in a weeklong mountain drive through Bavaria and it couldn't have started any better. Easy check-in upon arrival and was told our room would have a balcony with a mountain view. That was an understatement. Balcony was large providing a great place to sit and view the sites in the evening. You then woke up to look straight outside the balcony door to a breath-taking view of the mountains. The daily breakfast was quality and afforded you plenty of whatever you fancied eating. Room and entire property were clean. Located across the street from the Bischofswiesen train station making it easy to get around the Berchtesgaden area. After a long day trip to Salzburg was nice to be dropped off just steps from the hotel. A great experience and would definitely stay there again.

We woke up every morning and did a weather report as well as a cloud and cow report. The view of the mountain was so special - we loved seeing the cows come down the mountain at night. The sound of the local train and thin walls made it a bit noisy so if that would bother you ask for a room at the back of the building or expect to sleep with ear plugs. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety and fresh ingredients. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend to others no problem!

Alpine Hotel Brennersbacht is an amazing and beautiful place to stay! The views are incredible and it is a perfect place to stay if you are looking to hike, shop, eat, and explore Berchtesgaden and the area of Obersalzberg, the place is clean there areany amenities and the staff are super helpful and friendly example: we arrived at the hotel and we told them are names etc they then told us that we had accidentally booked a room for two people and there were only two beds, but they quickly fixed our problem and made the an extra bed in a jiffy! Overall an amazing hotel with amazing food events and value would recommend it to everyone who wants to have a clean and well priced stay in the Berchestgarden! Thank you Alpine hotel Brennersbacht.
