Fijn hotel met goede ligging, super ontbijt, in het steegje waar ons raam op uit kwam erg veel herrie rond 3 uur nachts laden en lossen... voordat je boekt even bellen of de parkeergelegenheid vrij is.

Schön zentral gelegen, Parkmöglichkeiten sind vor dem Hotel etwas eingeschränkt, da es ein öffentlicher Parkplatz ist. Aber hier kann man im Hotal einen Garagenplatz mieten. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Die Lage des Hotels ist direkt an der Altstadt in der Nähe des Marktplatzes. Das Frühstück mehr als reichlich mit einer guten Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Zimmer ist modern und sauber, der Badbereich ebenfalls. Rundum sehr empfehlenswert

The website is misleading if you want a balcony w/ chairs like 3 pics show. It says frz.balcony moselsite. Which is FRENCH DOORS, NO PLACE TO SIT. at least on my booking here. So since it wasn't busy I thought they could upgrade. Yes for a fee! He said onlyon their site/calling for resv.can you get a balcony! Thumbs down for Hotels. superior rating are not always what you want or expect in Germany. We have been here 4 yrs & some small family guesthouse or apt is better. Black out curtains,not really. Service not very friendly. Busy places like on the street mean good service & food. The Italian place upstairs on the corner next to hotel is GREAT! Boat ride nice for 2 hrs. Only Fri,Sat can you upto Koblenz, bummer. Parking is every 2 hrs/2 euros,1 evening the tickets for not paying were being given out! Hard to do too much, you have to keep paying or park across the river. Best small town with so much to see in the oldtown, it has so much detail! SUPER nice Rewe(supermarket) across the river 2km. Everything you need &more! BEST WINE EVER. it's a real lesson to learn about that area, so ask, they speak English. Prices are very reasonable! We will go back for more!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer und direkt an der Moselpromenade. Das Auto parkt man am besten im Parkhaus das in direkter Nähe liegt. Das einzige was im Sommer problematisch werden könnte, wäre das keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist. Bei offenen Fenster wird es was laut. Frühstück war auch super und am Wochenende ist das Buffet für Langschläfer bis 13 Uhr geöffnet.

The hotel had everything you need, but nothing extra. The location is superb, though. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We visited in the winter when Cochem isn’t filled with visitors, so we were able to park easily in the parking lot in front of the hotel that is available for the city visitors. There is an additional parking garage about two blocks away, if needed. The front desk/reception area is not manned late into the day, so make sure you take notice of that before booking if you have a late start or flight. The breakfast choices were enough, but again, not overly abundant. We did love our stay in Cochem and recommend everyone see this beauty of a town.

Fikk god hjelp til å sjekke inn. Hotellet lå meget sentralt, det var reint og virket godt ivaretatt. Fin utsikt. Parkeringen var billig på andre siden av broen, 200m fra hotellet.

Great location, felt like we were in the heart of the activities of the town. Clean rooms, well appointed. Self check in feature adds convenience since hotel is not really staffed after 6pm. Cons- WiFi did not work the entire stay. Staff could not fix and nothing really was done to compensate for this issue. Elevator was down for most part of the stay. 5 floor hotel with plenty of steps.

Positief: Ontbijt was prima verzorgd Negatief: Vieze vlekken in kussensloop, vieze (rode) vlekken in laken, enorm veel stof onder bed, rand van het bed en de kast, geen aanvulling wc papier kamer 109, geen aanvulling badkamer benodigdheden, föhn kennelijk heel heet geworden want bij gebruik viel het voorste deel eraf (gesmolten), deksel doucheputje zat los, entreelamp kamer 105 functioneerde niet, leeslamp kamer 109 functioneerde niet. Hotel is heel gehorig! Zowel 's avonds het gekreun en harde muziek van de bovenburen alsmede het schuiven van de stoelen in het restaurant vanaf 's morgens 06.30!! Tijdens het eerste ontbijt stonden (in de al kleine eetzaal) al het buitenmeubilair opgeslagen. Dit was echt geen gezicht! E.e.a. van bovenstaande zaken hebben wij aangegeven bij de receptioniste. Dit werd afgedaan een schoon kussensloop, laken en later een andere kamer. Meerdere keren aangegeven dat er goed gestofzuigd moet worden, dit gebeurde pas op de 3e dag. Wat even een paar lekkere dagen rust en ertussen uit had moeten worden heeft helaas geresulteerd in een debacle!!

Great stay during early December at the Hotel Cochemer Jung! Excellent location, staff, clean rooms, good breakfast! We arrived around 1, earlier than their stated 3:00 check in time. This hotel doesn't have a staffed check in and uses a self service check in system. There was a very nice employee in the lobby area and she went and talked to the housekeeping staff to see if the rooms might be ready. They were able to at least have one room ready, so we were able to put our luggage away. Breakfast (8-10, open only for hotel guests) in their restaurant was good with the usual eggs, breakfast meats, assorted breads, spreads, fruits, cold cuts, etc. Didn't get her name, but one of the restaurant staff (dark hair color) was really nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and modern. Our friends paid a little more and got a slightly larger room with a great view of the river/bridge. Our room was smaller and a view of the building behind but it was fine. Heated floors (very nice in winter!) and heated towel racks too. Complimentary wifi included. No in room safes or mini fridge. Since we were only staying two nights, we didn't need room service. There is an extra charge for room service if you want it. Location is right in the main Cochem town area and the village had their own Christmas Market with a medieval theme. If you arrive by train, make sure you get the local taxi company's number so you don't have to haul your luggage over the cobblestone pavers!

Room was veey small. Paid for a room with a balcony overlooking the river and ended up with the worst one. Not yhe hotels fault of couse, just bad luck. We were on the furst floor and there was a tree blocking so no view of the river or castle, shouldnt count as a river view room. Also has to check ourselves in on a tablet and key our own key cards, even though there is a receptionist there watching everuone check themselves in. You cannot check in before 3, even if you ask for early check in so we had to walk around town & up to the castle with all of our things. The shower was a very awkard set up, and the room was small and dark, but clean.

Das Hotel liegt ungefähr 10 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Bei Ankunft wurden wir freundliche Empfangen. Man half uns beim elektronischen Check in und es wurde alles genau erklärt. Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotel war gut. Man konnte alles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Hat man ein Zimmer zur Altstadt muss man mit erhöhtem Geräuschpegel rechnen, welchen man aber mit den Schallschutzfenstern schnell entgegenwirken kann. Das Frühstück war reichlich und gut. Das Hotel liegt ungefähr 10 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Bei Ankunft wurden wir freundliche Empfangen. Man half uns beim elektronischen Check in und es wurde alles genau erklärt. Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotel war gut. Man konnte alles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Hat man ein Zimmer zur Altstadt muss man mit erhöhtem Geräuschpegel rechnen, welchen man aber mit den Schallschutzfenstern schnell entgegenwirken kann. Das Frühstück war reichlich und gut. Alles in allem ein guter Aufenthalt.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer und direkt an der Moselpromenade. Das Auto parkt man am besten im Parkhaus das in direkter Nähe liegt. Das einzige was im Sommer problematisch werden könnte, wäre das keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist. Bei offenen Fenster wird es was laut. Frühstück war auch super und am Wochenende ist das Buffet für Langschläfer bis 13 Uhr geöffnet.

Fint lille hotel, kunne dog godt ha brugt aircondition og minibar på værelset, da det var meget varmt. Støj fra gade tidligt om morgenen gjorde at man skulle holde vindue/dør lukket. Receptionen var så godt som ikke eksisterende. Og personalet vidste ikke meget om området og kunne ikke meget engelsk. Men fantastisk beliggenhed i skønt område.

Great stay during early December at the Hotel Cochemer Jung! Excellent location, staff, clean rooms, good breakfast! We arrived around 1, earlier than their stated 3:00 check in time. This hotel doesn't have a staffed check in and uses a self service check in system. There was a very nice employee in the lobby area and she went and talked to the housekeeping staff to see if the rooms might be ready. They were able to at least have one room ready, so we were able to put our luggage away. Breakfast (8-10, open only for hotel guests) in their restaurant was good with the usual eggs, breakfast meats, assorted breads, spreads, fruits, cold cuts, etc. Didn't get her name, but one of the restaurant staff (dark hair color) was really nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and modern. Our friends paid a little more and got a slightly larger room with a great view of the river/bridge. Our room was smaller and a view of the building behind but it was fine. Heated floors (very nice in winter!) and heated towel racks too. Complimentary wifi included. No in room safes or mini fridge. Since we were only staying two nights, we didn't need room service. There is an extra charge for room service if you want it. Location is right in the main Cochem town area and the village had their own Christmas Market with a medieval theme. If you arrive by train, make sure you get the local taxi company's number so you don't have to haul your luggage over the cobblestone pavers!

Everything is good. Great location, nice rooms. A little pricier than others. Two negatives: - the computerized checkin is cumbersome and buggy. It took three attempts to complete it, and the staff cannot override the program — it would be good to have a way to boil water to make tea in the evening, in the room or in the common area.

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage im Cochemer Jung. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Die Zimmer sind sauber und modern. Die Zimmer sind an sich sehr ruhig, allerdings sind die Türen zum Flur sehr hellhörig und man hört es jedes Mal wenn jemand vorbei geht. Der Check In am Terminal war auch sehr unkompliziert. Das Personal war immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und mit einer großen Auswahl. Am Wochenende sogar mit Sekt und frische gepressten Säften. Auch für Vegetarier und sogar Veganer gab es etwas am Frühstücksbuffet. Ein Minuspunkt ist leider das Restaurant. Wenn man abends im Hotel etwas essen möchte, muss man tief in die Tasche greifen. 15 Euro für einen Burger ohne Pommes und 1,50 für Mayonnaise extra sind schon unverschämt. Auch 7 Euro für das günstigste Glas Wein ist in Cochem unnormal. Geschmeckt hat es aber gut.

Great location, felt like we were in the heart of the activities of the town. Clean rooms, well appointed. Self check in feature adds convenience since hotel is not really staffed after 6pm. Cons- WiFi did not work the entire stay. Staff could not fix and nothing really was done to compensate for this issue. Elevator was down for most part of the stay. 5 floor hotel with plenty of steps.
