Hotel Marco's

Relatief klein hotel met een groot restaurant. De service in het hotel en het restaurant zijn meer dan uitstekend, men staat altijd klaar om vriendelijk te helpen. Het hotel heeft een eigen parkeergarage wat ideaal is omdat er in de omgeving weinig parkeermogelijkheden zijn. Het hotel ligt in de straat langs het meer op een kleine loopafstand van het centrum.

Parking is an issue.

Location was great - central to everything. The staff was wonderful - very helpful. Great AC. We didn't realize they didn't have an elevator and our room was on the 2nd floor (which had a lovely view of the lake). They helped with luggage but was a little tough on my old lady knees. We would totally stay there again and highly recommend to everyone who can handle stairs.

Camera piccola! Personale alla reception si è presa la libertà di farmi pagare due camere quando io avevo scelto opzione PAGA PIÙ TARDI in struttura! Parcheggio privato ottimo ma con aggiunta di 25€ al giorno.

Gros problème a l’enregistrement avec un gardien hyper zélé équipe d’un ordinateur à dire non. Nous avons fait intervenir la police pour pouvoir avoir notre chambre ce qui a fait venir le manager qui ne s’est même pas excusé et qui ne nous a même pas adressée la parole. Il n’a pas oublié cependant d’offrir un café aux policiers. Qui sont les clients ? On se le demande… Par ailleurs nous n’avons pu avoir aucune information pratique pour visiter Côme ou pour garer la voiture. Le roof top était inaccessible, la vue sur le lac barrés par des camions de livraison au petit déjeuner. La chambre est petite et le plafond de la salle de bain tombe par endroit. Trop cher pour ce que c’est.

Great place to stay. We loved it. Staff was excellent. Young lady that checked us in was so awesome. For 25$ a gentleman at the hotel took our vehicle and parked for us in a private garage. That was great. We’re right on the water and the Funicolare is right there to take you to the top of the mountain if you wish. Room was small be we were ok with that because we were not there to be in our room. Easy walk to city central and restaurants. Would stay again.

Leuk hotel met idyllisch uitzicht over het Comomeer. Zeer attent en behulpzaam personeel, prima ontbijtbuffet. Kamers en badkamer zouden wat gemoderniseerd kunnen worden, maar uitzicht compenseert dat ruimschoots. Geen lift aanwezig.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am See. Die Lage ist top. Leider sucht man vergeblich in der Nähe einen Parkplatz, da es am Hotel keinen Parkplatz für die Gäste gibt. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und eng. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, aber nichts besonderes. Keine gedeckten Tische und eine spartanischr Auswahl.

This is a very nice hotel on Lake Como. 3 of us shared a small room & small shower but it was fine for a 2 night stay. We could open our windows and see Lake Como and the mountains, although there is a ferry docked in front of the hotel. The room was clean with good linens & toiletries. There is no elevator so you carry luggage up stairs.The street in front of the hotel is narrow w/ usually no parking spots so unloading & loading into car must be done quickly so as not to hold up other cars. The hotel charges $25/night for private parking, which is about a block away to walk. Everytime you park or want to get your car a member of the hotel staff must accompany you to let you in. The staff was always available for this task. It's not ideal, but it was much better than trying to find a free parking space around the hotel, of which there were few. All the staff is pleasant, professional, friendly, helpful.There is a restaurant at the hotel. The free breakfasts in the morning were plentiful, delicious, with a wonderful variety. We ate breakfast outdoors to look at the lake but you can sit inside, depending on the weather. There are plenty of places to walk to eat nearby.There is activity around the hotel with people coming/going from the ferry and other restaurants. There is also a very good laundry (Sant' Agostino) around the corner. Overall this is a nice place to stay on the Lake with reasonable rates. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

I booked a hotel on the water with a restaurant and my room was down the street, across the street and in the back of a building. It was depressing and dingy. Close to town for walking.

It had a great view of Lago di Como, but the AC in the room was not adequate for the high outside temperatures. The room overall was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable, but my husband was unable to sleep because of the extreme heat.

Booked after a change in itinerary & not a category I use. Very old facility but nice staff. Front on the lake with their very good, popular restaurant. AC cut out twice in two days & heavy construction, motorbike and truck noise from 6:30 AM until about midnight.

La chambre etait spacieuse, propre et nous n'avons pas eu froid. L espace exterieur est appréciable. Dans cette formule nous n'avions pas le petit dejeuner par rapport à un autre concurrent... Chambre au rez de jardin beaucoup de bruit notamment pendant les passages plusieurs fois la nuit des camions poubelles juste devant la fenêtre

Rooms are small but only necessarily for sleeping and with AC. Easily walkable to and from Como.

The view of the lake was spectacular! GREAT location. Close to everything. Service was excellent in hotel and restaurant. Our only complaint is that the bed was so hard you literally could not sleep...actually the worst that I've ever slept in. It would be a wonderful place to stay if they would upgrade the mattress. The room is really small but no problem if you do not plan on spending much time in it.

The hotel is small and beds very firm but you can’t beat it for location it’s right in the middle of lake Como you just walk everywhere or catch a ferry

The staff offered superb service. They helped plan a visit to Bellagio and Lugano and offered good advice.

My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a few days while on our honeymoon. The staff was helpful, cheerful, and delightful. They saw to our every need morning and night. We had an excellent view of Lake Como from our room and easy access to the traghetto allowing us to visit other towns on the lake.

Extremely easy place to stay to get around the lake. We have 2 kids and the bunk beds were perfect. The staff at the front desk were so helpful! There’s AC and Great Lake views. The walk to the ferry and train station are both 5 mins. The funiculare is right next to the hotel. So many restaurants including one at the hotel with a roof terrace view of the lake.

The room was small but clean. The location is fantastic: close to the train station, shops, the ferry, and the funicular railway. The food at the hotel was good, as was the service.

Super convenient location, right by the funicular train and the main boat dock. Tons of restaurants and bars nearby. The breakfast is a good deal and the staff is super friendly. Special note for the excellent service from Rakib!

Great people and wonderful location right next to the main harbor in Lake Como). Rooms are small, like old Europe but clean and bathroom Was functional. Staff are great. There is a restaurant attached, food is very good for dinner. Highly recommend the steak and pasta dishes. Breakfast is typical European style, fruits, yogurt, fresh fruit juice and breakfast breads. It is less than 4 minute walk to the ferry dock and two minutes to private boats.
