OYO Sunrise Hotel, A46 N Leicester

Couldnt even get a drink out of the vending machine as the card reader was broken and staff do not have change for the cash part. Car park gets really busy. Windows of lots of the hotel rooms are broken and they let cold air draught in , mattresses in multiple different rooms that I’ve stayed in are all worn and need replacement, the bedding doesn’t even fit the beds properly. Property is extremely dated and in desperate need of a refurb - maintenance is definitely not existent. Power cut overnight , wifi extremely poor. All in all it is very dated, quite dirty and very basic in general

Really poor quality hotel. Dirty room, worn-out old mattress, and just a tired, drab hotel both inside and out. We booked for two nights but stayed only the first night as we couldn't face another night of poor sleep in a dirty room

Parking is a bit hard to find especially in evening

Rooms very beaten down, marks on walls, paint peeling off bathroom door. I understand you get what you pay for as it was cheap but the rooms could have been cleaner, there was loads of spider webs above windows and all on ceiling. Had 2 power cuts during the night. At least bed was comfortable

The room was tired, sofa was shiny, make of that what you like, and other than a new looking carpet it was filthy. I went to turn on the heater and it was literally greasy and caked in dust and dirt. I considered not staying and continuing my journey but was too tired, thankfully the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Keep looking..
