The hotel was clean, in a good location and the rooms spacious. Unfortunately my experience of breakfast was not good. It was coordinated by the same person who also was trying to run reception. When I arrived there were no glasses, no cups, no milk for the cereal, no butter for the toast.. It was chaotic and people were rolling their eyes at each other. The acoustics in my room were bad, and the noise from neighbouring rooms was loud and left nothing to the imagination! The stairs are in black tiles and very dimly lit or not lit at all, creating a clear risk of falls.

メインストリートに近いのに静かで治安良く、女性1人でも歩けます。近所にCraftという素晴らしいレストランがあります。 セルディカ駅から石畳の上をスーツケース引いて歩くのは少々疲れますが、まあ問題ないと言えます。 ホテルスタッフはフレンドリーです。エレベーターまで数段の階段があります。部屋の鍵はカードキー。水回りは何の心配もいりません。シャワーの出も良好、水捌けも問題なし、ドライヤーも普通に使えます。 シャンプー、トリートメント、ボディソープ、手洗い用固形石鹸など揃っています。 スリッパと歯ブラシは無し。 湯沸かしポットや流し、カトラリーやキッチン洗剤スポンジ等があり、清潔で大変良いです。床も大きなベッドも大きなソファも全て綺麗でした。カーテンも埃などなく清潔でした。エアコンも効きました。 かけ布団が薄いので、一枚だと寒いかもしれません。私はクローゼットの中から出して2枚使用しました。 唯一気になった点は、バスルームのコップが綺麗ではありませんでしたので、持参した紙コップを使用しました。ただ、許容範囲内かと思います。 部屋が広くて開放感あります。心地良い滞在でした。 朝食も美味しく、満足です。ここに泊まってソフィアを散歩するのが素晴らしい時間です。また訪れます。

This hotel has super-friendly staff. It is a very quick walk to the main shopping street, and the metro station. Unfortunately, the door to my balcony didn't work, and they said they could not reduce my room charge to the price of a room without a balcony. Sofia is wonderful, and although the balcony door didn't work, the staff made up for it...I'd stay here again. Good breakfast, also construction going on in middle floors.

Hotel location was good and room had all facilities you could want. Breakfast buffet was a bit basic but was fine. 24 hour concierge handy and all requests were efficiently dealt with. Bed and pillows rather hard so if you like a soft pillow I would suggest taking your own

This could be a good property for some, but not for us. My husband has mobility problems and we though there were only 3 steps...but there were an additional 16 to get to breakfast. Also there were no English language channels on TV so he had nothing to do while I was out walking. On the other hand the room was large and the staff was excellent. Its in a great location if you dont have trouble walking.

Lovely hotel in a very quiet street; staff all friendly and helpful when it came to asking directions. Very clean in all areas. Room 203 very spacious with a small balcony area, and the beds are comfortable. Small supply of toiletries which unusually didn't include a shower cap. Breakfast was ok although for myself being lactose intolerant and intolerant to processed meats etc. it was challenging, however the bread was very nice.

This is our second time at the hotel. Everything was great. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Not a single question was left unanswered. Delicious breakfasts. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel is located next to Vitosha Avenue. Despite the fact that we had an early flight, the hotel took care of the breakfast box. Thank you very much for everything. We will definitely come back.

What a great stay we had at The St George’s hotel . Staff were very helpful and friendly , location was perfect ! Metro a minute away , in walking distance to almost everything. Our room was clean and comfortable and having the balcony was great to sit and relax after a busy day as the hotel was remarkably quiet . Breakfast was OK, we would have like more healthy vegan options but not a major issues as so many trendy little cafes and places gor good coffee in the city . Thanks so much to all the staff we had a great stay and loved Sofia !

A 5 day getaway to explore Sofia and the surrounding area, the Metro was a 10min walk. St George organised us a transfer (25bgn) from the airport on request as we were not arriving until 11pm. They also booked us a taxi to the airport on our departure as the transfer was not available between 12am and 6am, this was not an issue as it was around the same price. Our room was cleaned everyday and Staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was buffet style and lots of choice. We had a balcony, but don't be expecting much of a view as your are in the middle of the city. The room had air conditioning but unfortunately to get full effect you had to sit on the sofa as it was around the corner from the bed. The bed was comfortable and there was a minibar with lots to choose from. Little kitchenette with stove top if you were thinking of cooking in. We opted to venture out for food, lots of choice around, and lots of little bars and just a 5minute walk from the centre. A great base!

Moderne Einrichtung, schnelles WLAN, viel Auswahl beim Frühstück und in einer relativ ruhigen Straße, die nur wenige Minuten von der Haupteinkaufsstraße entfernt ist. Preis Leistung passt für mich total. Ich hatte sogar ein bisschen Blick auf die Berge vom Balkon aus

Great location, spacious rooms and helpful staff. I stayed in two different rooms a few days apart (201 and 504) and I appreciated the balcony and amenities in each. This place is a gem, and I’d definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Sofia.

Close to food and shops. Staff are really helpful. It's an older property but has very comfortable rooms. I just didn't like the high, hard pillows.

Our room was cleaned everyday and Staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was buffet style and lots of choice. We had a balcony, but don't be expecting much of a view as your are in the middle of the city. The room had air conditioning but unfortunately to get full effect you had to sit on the sofa as it was around the corner from the bed. The bed was comfortable and there was a minibar with lots to choose from. Little kitchenette with stove top if you were thinking of cooking in. We opted to venture out for food, lots of choice around, and lots of little bars and just a 5minute walk from the centre. A great base!
A 5 day getaway to explore Sofia and the surrounding area, the Metro was a 10min walk. St George organised us a transfer (25bgn) from the airport on request as we were not arriving until 11pm. They also booked us a taxi to the airport on our departure as the transfer was not available between 12am and 6am, this was not an issue as it was around the same price. This is our second time at the hotel. Everything was great. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Not a single question was left unanswered. Delicious breakfasts. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel is located next to Vitosha Avenue. Despite the fact that we had an early flight, the hotel took care of the breakfast box. Thank you very much for everything. We will definitely come back.

What a great stay we had at The St George’s hotel . Staff were very helpful and friendly , location was perfect ! Metro a minute away , in walking distance to almost everything. Our room was clean and comfortable and having the balcony was great to sit and relax after a busy day as the hotel was remarkably quiet . Breakfast was OK, we would have like more healthy vegan options but not a major issues as so many trendy little cafes and places gor good coffee in the city . Thanks so much to all the staff we had a great stay and loved Sofia !

We stayed on the first floor, and our stay was almost perfect. The hotel's location is ideal - close to the pedestrian area with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops, yet far enough away to ensure a quiet, undisturbed night. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a practical kitchenette (stovetop, sink, fridge/minibar), a comfortable little sofa, and a balcony with a café table and chairs. However, the interior showed some wear and tear. Most importantly, the beds were old, hard, and uncomfortable, which detracted from the experience. Breakfast was included, but the selection was quite limited, lacking prepared fruit and offering only sliced cucumbers and tomatoes. With updated beds and a bit more variety at breakfast, this hotel would be a top choice.

Ich war mehr als zehn Tage dort zu Gast und habe exakt das vorgefunden, was ich mir erhofft habe: ein geräumiges & gepflegtes Zimmer, ein gut ausbalanciertes Frühstücksbuffet, freundliches Personal und eine Lage, von der ich aus, unkompliziert zu meinen Erkundungstouren habe aufbrechen können. Ich war super happy und würde mich wieder für das St. Georgs entscheiden.

The wobbly elevator was filthy, and the cleaning people used it for storage of their dirty equipment throughout the morning and sometimes late at night. Except for a very helpful night reception guy that was there for a few nights, most of the reception staff were hopeless. The breakfast was pretty much the same each day - decent only for the purpose of avoiding hunger - limited to the hours of 7:30-9:30 on weekdays and 8:00-9:30 on weekends when one of the staff quickly kicked us all out at 9:30. This place very much needs a renovation and retraining or replacing of the staff.
