Pictures lie. Upon entering the dingy porch area with peeling paint we found an equally disgusting old furnitured room, greasy appliances, 1/2 painted old bathroom vanity. We had to leave as we were afraid of bedbugs and safety. Our toddlers were looking forward to a playground and pool. The “playground “ was literally a small plastic slide and baby swing. Patrons were sitting outside the pool area smoking so we did not even try to go there. Truly disgusting and disappointing. Just hoping for a refund as we have always previously trusted this site .

The rooms were ok. The beds were comfortable, but dorm room level for furniture and fixtures and such. The kitchenette was nicely equipped, and the fridge was very clean. We loved the outdoor space- it was perfect for us all to gather with our 4 and 8 year old and grandparents. The pool and play area was within eye sight from the room, and safe for them to play outside without concern for cars. The pool was also very clean and in excellent condition. The walk to the beach was easy for the adults, but the kids sometimes got tired. There is a little pull off in the wildlife refuge to drop-off/pick-up, so we took turns doing the walk after parking. There is NO parking or drop off area at the beach itself. A wagon or bike is very helpful.

Overall the property is nice and the suite we chose was a good size. The pool was very nice and outdoor was kept very nice. The few downfalls were that the smoking area was outside our room and the smell came in through the air-conditioner. The a.c in our room kept blowing the gfi plug causing us to be pretty warm all night for 3 nights. The grill/barbecue area was not working - the grills didn't light and there was not a working lighter which was disappointing as we planned to grill a few nights to save on money .

After I reserved my rooms, I called the motel and asked whoever answered, if the room was handicapped, as i have an electric wheelchair. He told me that all the bottom rooms were handicap accessible. That is not true. There is a five-inch rise to get up on the concrete in front of the rooms and probably a seven or eight rise to get into the room. Also there was a large crack in the bathtub. I do not plan to ever stay there again and will pass this information to other disabled veterans. Another thing: They do NOT give a veteran discount.

There was a hole in the floor of the bathroom and the bathroom was smelly. In general the room and property are run down. There were also lots of ants in the room. Appliances and furniture were dated. We expected better at this price point.

I don't typically leave reviews unless really good or really bad. This place was outdated, needed at least a coat of paint and pretty filthy. I counted three spiders from where I was standing near foot of the bed. Yuck! If I wasn't tired I would have left

It was dirty. There was a broken window that wouldn’t lock. Our “screened in porch” was full of furniture,garbage and bikes. There was a hole in the wall. The bathroom sink drain stopper was stuck in the drain so you couldn’t use the bathroom sink or it’d just fill up. There was hairs, stains and burn holes on the blankets/sheets. There was so much dust in the vents we were non stop sneezing.

We enjoyed the location of the motel. Overall, the motel was clean and the employees were friendly! The bed was not very comfortable, and the worst part was the internet! We didn’t have great service in the area and couldn’t connect to the WiFi almost the entire time. That was the biggest downfall since we had family to connect with outside of Maine. Overall, it was a fairly good stay.

Not terrible, but there stain on the under sheet and it was orange/red in color. They have metal bed frames that make loud noise when just sitting or moving on the bed. Could hear people talking in the room Nextdoor. If your in need of a budget friendly stay this is a nice spot, make sure it’s not gonna snow though parking lot is very tight.

Horrible experience. Save your money. The air conditioning was broken and staff was not around. No directions on how to use it. The air conditioning remote did not work at all and would not blow cold air. It was permanently set at 76 and we were unable to change it and it was locked into the heat setting. Next morning we went to the office and we were told that we had to hold the button down to get ac to work. However, remote still wouldn't work to lower temp so spent whole day and night in August heat sweating to death. It was 82 degrees in our room! The windows were small and there was no AC at all in the main bedroom. It was hundreds of dollars and would probably be $60 a night in any other location. See pictures. Mold on ceiling, outdated, poorly decorated room which needs serious updating. Staff didn't offer to even come check the AC. Stay elsewhere. Literally one of worst places I've stayed.

I was able to check in early. The room was HOT. Air conditioner did not work well. Windows did not lock. Bathroom had water leaks. Room is really outdated. I was not impressed with the room considering the amount I paid.

We found the bed very uncomfortable and the door to room glass panels at night outside lighting shining right in adding to no sleep to bright. Bathroom door didnt close properly. Sitting outside room next door all we could smell is cigarette smoke so went inside.

Very good overall. 15-20 minutes walk from the beach. Front office employee very nice. What could be upgraded : - Stove not working properly (one of the two rings only) -Missing some dishes and cutlery. -Propane BBQ not working. -Wifi not strong. Would come back if we stay there again!

Staff was not very friendly, especially the man at the desk. When I offered a suggestion to him about letting people know about the heat/AC unit, all he wanted to do was argue with me. No one told me that you had to use a remote to work it. They close the office at 9 PM and by time I realized I had no heat for the night, I thought it was too late to call. It was below freezing that night and I was cold all night. The room was fair, but needs updating. It was clean, and I had plenty of towels.

Don’t let the other reviews fool you! There are many mixed reviews on this property. But we had a WONDERFUL stay. The WiFi in our first room was having issues, and I’m an online college and needed to have WiFi. The gentlemen who works in the office, was happy to accommodate these needs of mine. He switched our room right away, to a room that had its own WiFi. The rooms were clean, and cozy! While some of their amenities are what people would considered “outdated” you can see they are making constant improvements, and working to upgrade their property. I can’t recommend the property enough. The staff was wonderful, property was easy to find, plenty of parking, and they are pet friendly!! We definitely stay again!

We needed a last minute place to stay around the 4th of July holiday and this was very affordable. Service was really good, lovely front desk person and cleaning staff was great, started early, and our room was super clean after. They got a very sandy floor completely clean. One downside was that wifi wasn't great, barely worked for us.

Checkin was not easy-nobody was there & I was ringing the bell. Was about to call when a cleaning staff member showed up. She was lovely but one shouldn't have to scramble about to check in. It was before 5:09

It was clean and is in a good location. Just a basic room,no frills but we were not there to sight see so that was fine. Unable to figure how to work the tv. No staff available at all! No one ever in the office. Never informed that our key would be left in the mailbox so that was distressing when we tried to check in. Tried to call several times and it would ring once and then go to a busy signal. Found an employee, finally, walking with a trash bag and they told us where the key to our room would be. Had emailed them to see what was going on but never got a response so this was distressing since we could only check in between 3 pm to 5 pm. Given the time of year we were there it was quiet.

We had a wonderful stay. Jay made us feel right at home. The staff was great, the water was hot in the shower. We had fresh towels everyday and the housekeepers were fantastic. We plan to stay here every time we visit, from now on. Very happy.😊

Staff was not very friendly, especially the man at the desk. When I offered a suggestion to him about letting people know about the heat/AC unit, all he wanted to do was argue with me. No one told me that you had to use a remote to work it. They close the office at 9 PM and by time I realized I had no heat for the night, I thought it was too late to call. It was below freezing that night and I was cold all night. The room was fair, but needs updating. It was clean, and I had plenty of towels.

More than accommodating. This property was off the main road so walking distance to restaurants and shops. Short drive to the ocean. And the staff was wonderful. They were able to help us in our stay with an early check in to get ready for a local wedding. Would stay here again

We stayed last minute at almost midnight because our car broke down. Room was clean and efficient. Management was very accommodating! We had to wait half of the next day waiting for our car to be fixed. We’re from CT so it was costly and stressful. But the management let us extend our say till much later than check out for no additional costs! Me and my family are very grateful! We would recommend staying here to any family! Thanks Ne’r u saved the day!!

I was given a second floor room at a Motel, after I told them that I am recovering from a broken neck and heart surgery they told me that was all hey had. Also the railing was week and even broke when I was going down stairs, from railing was rotting making it very dangerous. I called for help as the TV was not working The manager came to the room, got the TV to work but the remote control would not work (problem as I like to go to bed with the TV on and turn it off from the bed. The manager said to me in a very nasty way "come to the office and I will give you a full refund but you Must be off the property now"! this was at about 9:00 at night, I replied then where would I go and he just shrugged his shoulders. NOT very helpful. OVERALL I would say that this was the worst hotel/motel I have ever been to.

The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. We didn’t spend much time in the room so the price was great! Drawback is that we had to drive everywhere and pay really expensive parking fees. Not the hotel’s problem but it would cause me to go elsewhere next time.

The rooms were ok. The beds were comfortable, but dorm room level for furniture and fixtures and such. The kitchenette was nicely equipped, and the fridge was very clean. We loved the outdoor space- it was perfect for us all to gather with our 4 and 8 year old and grandparents. The pool and play area was within eye sight from the room, and safe for them to play outside without concern for cars. The pool was also very clean and in excellent condition. The walk to the beach was easy for the adults, but the kids sometimes got tired. There is a little pull off in the wildlife refuge to drop-off/pick-up, so we took turns doing the walk after parking. There is NO parking or drop off area at the beach itself. A wagon or bike is very helpful.

Our stay was fine. The beds where pretty good. The floor had a bored separated from the other flooring. The railing going up to The second floor was rotten. The carpet was coming undone. The hot water was not working our whole trip. We did tell the office right away And it never got fix. They offer to move us the day before we were leaving but it was already to late. When we went to check out the office told us it was fixed but we didn't have hot water that morning o wash our faces and brush our teeth. It was nice that that we were close to the beach but even the pool that they had said it was heated and it wasn't.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, we had a wonderful time! The pool is warm and clean, the lawn has nice chairs to relax in with a fire pit to keep you warm. And having access to the grill there allowed us to javelin a bbq! Over all great location
