arrived late after 3 hour train delay & pouring with rain & shocked at surroundings. at first I thought hotel closed & boarded up with unsavoury characters sheltering in alcoves but eventually found front door. check in strange as I normally provide a preprinted label but receptionist insisted I complete the form in handwriting (explaining “you’ve probably noticed it’s a difficult area & I need your handwriting “!). he explained “lift out of action as you’ve been notified” - which I hadn’t- so at age 81 I had to drag suitcases to THIRD floor . I noticed floors on first and second floors in poor repair. this is more like a young people’s hostel than a hotel. However breakfast was of exceptional quality- don’t recommend

Only positive aspect was the cleanliness of the room. Otherwise it was a horrible experience. World’s most unprofessional staff and they were highly rude especially the guy in the breakfast room, who treated us like prisoners! Two huge scams: 1. we booked the hotel with breakfast included and they still made us pay for breakfast. 2. Picked this hotel because they had own parking but it tuns out they don’t and they direct us to an ordinary public parking where we had to carry our luggages to/from

This hotel is in the worst area of Frankfurt, not safe to go out at night at all. The hotel itself is clean and the staff are fine, but the air con did not work well and with the window open the noise outside was so loud that you can not sleep, checked out a day early.

A very bad hotel, no ice at all , I booked online but when I went there, they said they don’t have air conditioning, I couldn’t sleep and stayed at the room, very sad really, they just need your money and dishonest, please don’t go to this hotel

Goede ligging t.o.v. station, 3 min. lopen. Wel unheimlische omgeving, veel lawaai op straat. Twee straten verder en je bent in het ‘betere gedeelte’. Alles is vanaf hier te lopen, geen gebruik hoeven maken van OV maar als je dat wel wilt, genoeg metrostations in de buurt. Zeer warme kamer, airco werkt niet en met de ramen open doe je geen oog dicht. En de kamer was kleiner dan ingeschat vanaf de website. Goed basic ontbijt, vriendelijke medewerker. Prijs/kwaliteit klopt. Uitchecken hoeft pas om 12.00 uur. Al met al een prima verblijf gehad voor 3 nachten …

These hotel itself is very nice and so are the staff. The problem is the location or rather the people who hang around the streets in this location. I am a solo traveler so I wasn't too concerned but it may be concerning to others. The AC did not work, probably because the hotel had isolated it due to the cool temperature outside but the street noise was too great to leave a window open.

- Milch am Frühstücksbuffet war sauer - Zimmer war schmutzig und hat gestunken, als ich angekommen bin - Handtücher & Badteppich hatten Löcher - Duschkabine liess sich von innen nicht öffnen, da der Türgriff abgebrochen war - Kühlschrank, der in unregelmässigen Abständen nachts grell geleuchtet hat (die Lampe hatten sie versucht, mit Klebeband abzudunkeln - das Problem war also bekannt, aber vom Hotel akzeptiert) Das Schlimmste war sicherlich die saure Milch beim Frühstück; da wollten sie offensichtlich Geld sparen und haben die selbe Milch tagelang ungekühlt aufgetischt. Aber ganz ehrlich: Alles andere war auch absolut schrecklich. Wie um alles in der Welt haben die 4 Sterne bekommen?

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof, sodass es lautstärkemäßig angenehm war. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Foyer einladend. Leider war unser Zimmer, trotz Check in nach 15:00, nicht fertig und wir mussten 45 min auf das Zimmer warten. Nach Betreten des Zimmers ist aufgefallen, dass das Badezimmer nicht geputzt wurde. Im Waschbecken waren Haare, sowie die Klobrille fleckig. Die Wände neben der Tür waren zudem stark dreckig und die Fußleisten beschädigt. Das Bett war soweit gut.

BED BUGS!!!! Disgusting filth ridden MOTEL… they really catfish you would be pictures. There are holes punched in the wall, floor boards coming up, and worst of all, bedbugs! And when I left the Front Desk staff know about this on checkout, they said “well the person before you in that room didn’t complain“. Will probably because the person before me didn’t have sensitive skin and didn’t react as quickly. But I’m pretty sure they got it as well. I have multiple bites on my arms and now instead of resting when I get home, I will have to be sanitizing everything. No accountability whatsoever. Do not stay in this hotel unless you’re absolutely desperate and don’t mind getting bedbugs!!

Die Zimmer sind eigentlich ok, aber sehen schon ziemlich abgenutzt aus. Meine Zimmertür konnte ich nur mit Gewalt schließen. Ausserdem war das Zimmer nicht sauber - ich fand von dem vorherigen Gast noch einige Dinge im Zimmer. Das Bad ist sehr klein und die Dusche eklig. Das Personal beim Frühstück war eher unfreundlich. Die Umgebung war das allerschlimmste! ich würde nie wieder in dieses Hotel gehen.

STAY AWAY! This property is truly awful. It's located directly within the red light district. Drug users everywhere, including directly outside the front door every night, a very unsafe area. The bedroom I had didn't even have a full length bed, if you get a room on any floor with the number ending in *14 you will end up with your knees bent all night if you're over 5 foot 9 as the bed isn't long enough. I travel a lot, and I'm genuinely not a picky person, I very rarely leave reviews… but this place is truly awful.

The hotel itself was great. Very near to the station which was what we were after, the room was clean and tidy, though some of the flooring was quite damaged on the 5th floor where we stayed. We loved the decor of the hotel which was very well done. The only downside was that the hotel is surrounded by strip clubs and walking back to the hotel in the evening did not always feel totally safe. This is not the hotel’s fault but worth thinking about if you are travelling alone. Staff were courteous and we were checked in quickly. They also held our bags before check into we could explore which was great. Overall, a good experience - it’s shame about the neighbourhood!

Of course you can't expect a high classl 4 star hotel, but absolutely worth it for the price. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Furnishing and equipment was ok with nice ambient lighting. Only the refrigerator was not working. Stuff was friendly and it's super close to central station. Great for a short stay.

Wonderful check & check out experience with welcoming Silvio at reception, very helpful with tips for Frankfurt travel and sights. The lovely couple running the breakfast buffet were outstanding and always had the most beautiful breakfast set up for the hotel, we looked forward to it every morning. Thank you all for making our stay a positive experience.

This hotel has a no change no refund policy so as long as nothing comes up and your plans don’t change you’re OK but Aer Lingus flight from LA was so delayed. This hotel has a no change no refund policy so as long as nothing comes up and your plans don’t change you’re OK but Aer Lingus flight from LA was so delayed. The surrounding area is the red light district of Frankfurt. Leaving the hotel I witnessed a drug deal and got screamed at or approached by beggars every time. I've never felt more unsafe in a city. The hotel itself is okay. The staff are nice enough but there's a serious lack of security at the front desk. For example, our key stopped working so we asked for them to reboot it and they didn't check ID or anything and when our bags were behind the desk and we came to get them they basically just said 'take whatever bags you want' with no way to check who's bag belongs to who. The rooms have the bare minimum amenities and the shower was a bit gross.

When we checked into the property, everywhere around us was people strung out and using drugs. They were shooting up with needles in front of the building. There was trash everywhere. When we got to the room there was water damage from the ceiling in the bathroom. The floors were wet and it smelled of urine. The toiletries were empty in the bathroom as well. The air conditioning did not work in the room, and you couldnt open the window to let in fresh air because of the stench and noise from outside. While i was changing, a man entered my room with a key while i was nude. I yelled at him and he slowly shut the door while watching me. Very unsafe and filthy hotel. The pictures advertised does not show what you get.

First of all when we arrived there was a fire alarm on and emergency fire brigade team was there and everyone leaving the building. Then after sometime we came back and ask for the room early check in around 12:30 which we requested through Hotel.com team but the refused as and ask us for wait. Then we ask tea bags for room but their attitude was too bad and not respect water was too could in the bathroom when asked no response I am very disappointed and embarrassed front of my guests. Which I am not happy

STAY AWAY! This property is truly awful. It's located directly within the red light district. Drug users everywhere, including directly outside the front door every night, a very unsafe area. The bedroom I had didn't even have a full length bed, if you get a room on any floor with the number ending in *14 you will end up with your knees bent all night if you're over 5 foot 9 as the bed isn't long enough. I travel a lot, and I'm genuinely not a picky person, I very rarely leave reviews… but this place is truly awful.

This hotel is in the worst area of Frankfurt, not safe to go out at night at all. The hotel itself is clean and the staff are fine, but the air con did not work well and with the window open the noise outside was so loud that you can not sleep, checked out a day early.

Wonderful check & check out experience with welcoming Silvio at reception, very helpful with tips for Frankfurt travel and sights. The lovely couple running the breakfast buffet were outstanding and always had the most beautiful breakfast set up for the hotel, we looked forward to it every morning. Thank you all for making our stay a positive experience.

Sehr entäuschend, Zimmer sehr dreckig und Runtergekommen. Bei einen Bett haben die Füsse gefehlt, Abdeckung an Elektrischen Einrichtungen haben gefehlt und und und. Beim Frühstück waren die ganzen Salate und Wurst ausgetrocknet und das schon um 08:30 Im Bad alles voller Schimmel . Dieses Hotel hat keine 4 Sterne verdient.

- Milch am Frühstücksbuffet war sauer - Zimmer war schmutzig und hat gestunken, als ich angekommen bin - Handtücher & Badteppich hatten Löcher - Duschkabine liess sich von innen nicht öffnen, da der Türgriff abgebrochen war - Kühlschrank, der in unregelmässigen Abständen nachts grell geleuchtet hat (die Lampe hatten sie versucht, mit Klebeband abzudunkeln - das Problem war also bekannt, aber vom Hotel akzeptiert) Das Schlimmste war sicherlich die saure Milch beim Frühstück; da wollten sie offensichtlich Geld sparen und haben die selbe Milch tagelang ungekühlt aufgetischt. De accommodatie zelf is mooi en leuk ingericht. Het is alleen jammer dat deze zich in een vieze wijk bevindt. Veel zwervers/junks op straat, hoewel we niet zijn lastiggevallen door deze mensen. Bij de receptie zitten aardige mensen, maar ze zijn niet erg behulpzaam uit zichzelf. Veel informatie uit ze moeten trekken, zoals waar de ontbijtzaal bevindt en wat er in de nabije omgeving te doen is. De kamer was prima, niet te groot, maar dat is ook niet per se nodig als je er alleen slaapt en voornamelijk buiten de deur bent. De netheid was over het algemeen ok, alleen de bedrok was erg smerig. De bedden zelf waren gewoon schoon en lagen prima. Het ontbijt was goed geregeld: een buffet met veel keuze uit broodbeleg, diverse broodjes en drinken.

Horrible experience. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel, especially for women or solo travelers. The neighborhood is dangerous, with crackheads on nearly every corner, and I never felt safe walking around the area. They would not allow early check-in, the room was freezing cold, and the service overall was terrible except for the chef and a few kind reception staff. Mr. Ashraf was the worst part of the experience. After I complained that my room was extremely cold and asked about using the sauna, he screamed at me in the elevator. He was arrogant, rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional throughout my stay. As a Black person, I genuinely did not feel welcome there. Staff need to understand that guest feedback is meant to help improve service, not to attack customers for speaking up respectfully. And to make things worse, Hotels.com was completely useless and did nothing to help.
