I’ve had an amazing time! Especially the front desk was extra helpful and I was able to book myself in to the Hilton pool for one day next door. The room was spotless and I had everything needed for cooking/baking. The GYM is also at the Hilton hotel next door and can be used for free. I would just wishes for a brochure to get more information about the location/hotel/directions. Other then that 5/5 ✨

We had a fabulous time at Double Tree Hilton, Queenstown. We requested a room upgrade to the lakeview room - totally worth it! The staff were very friendly and service-orientated. On our first morning, a technical problem in processing our breakfast order meant we went without breakfast – not a big deal from our point of view. However, this is obviously something The Hilton management and staff take more seriously. The staff were very apologetic, offering a free bottle of wine and breakfast. The service we received from Cydea, Alberto and the wider team was exceptional and greatly appreciated. The hotel has a great swimming pool and facilities, and with it is perfectly located for those who want to avoid the traffic to/fro Queenstown. Water taxis run every hour (or so) which meant it was a pleasant way to travel to Qntn. This has been our third time staying at this hotel, and we will return again. thank you!

This is our second stay at this hotel, the first time was not a great experience but this time it was with only one downside, the parking. There was next to no parking available when we arrived around 8pm. We lucked out on our second drive round with a park in a gravel area at the back of the hotel but the parking is owned by a third party and is $16 a night. The hotel itself was great.... the person at reception was awesome, really helpful and nothing beats a warm cookie on arrival.... well, except 2 cookies!!!! The bed is super comfortable and the room overall is nice but the lounge is a little small. We had a late check in and left early the next morning so weren't fussed at having a concrete wall and a gravel carpark to look at. If you are there for a view of the lake it would be worth asking for one when you book it.

Good hotel just a short water taxi ride away from Queenstown. The Airport and Frankton shopping are a walking distance away. Bike rental at the hotel. Buffet breakfast.

I did like the view and was unique coming down a steep hill to it. The one way system made it easier to negotiate the roading. Most amenities and dining was at the Hilton. Was close to Remarkables park. Didn’t like having to pay for parking as a hotel guest.

Clean and comfortable rooms, however hardly any hot water lukewarm at best. Staff were attentive, would have been practical to know before booking that we couldn’t use the adjacent swimming pool at the Hilton without incurring an additional cost.

The hotel looks like the photos. There is a beautiful lake view of the balcony and a spacious room and bathroom in a great area just outside of Christchurch near all the tours. However, the hotel and the room itself was filthy. There was items of garbage on the floor, the bathroom contained spills on the counters and hair in the sink and tub and the bedding contained significant stains including blood. The entire thing was super dusty especially the bed to the point where it was triggering our allergies quite significantly. Would be such a beautiful place if only it was clean!

We like this location and have stayed at the Hilton Hotel next door several times. The apartment we had was a definite step down, but the price for 5 nights was only $100 less than the Hilton. Too much for the quality of the accomodation. Front desk staff were excellent. Room was not vacuumed at all over the 5 nights.

Dirty room, furnishings worn. I found bottle caps by the bed on the floor. Furniture fabric coming apart on bed and lounge chair. Coushions worn and dirty. Aside from that, the service was wonderful. All staff were friendly. Rooms are nice and quiet. Beautiful location on the lake, nice for a morning stroll. Easy parking (paid). Room service had Dairy Free options. Mushroom risotto -beautiful. Was charged $5.00 tray fee, weird. Overall a relaxing stay, I ended up staying another night.

Reception was unattended a number of times when we wanted to ask for these to be replenished. The room service menu didn't load on the TV (and there was no other menu in the room). We didn't like not being able to see the TV from the bed. Overall, a disappointing stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton.

An horrific check in with zero professionalism and empathy by the receptionist. The duty manager was conveniently on a ‘break’ when I requested to see him. I was treated like a conman because I couldn’t immediately produce my credit card I had booked the accommodation with and when I did, was asked for photo ID. Last time I looked, this was NZ, not some other country. Great way to treat business guests. I could go on about lack of training, lack of respect, noisey tourist guest, closed restaurant on a Monday, no dining table or even desk to work on in the room..but frankly, I can’t be bothered. If this is Hilton at its best, I won’t be back…EVER

The Doubletree was close to the Queenstown Airport, but located in a private part of Frankton. Only about 6 minute drive to Remarkables Shopping Center and 15-20 minutes to Queenstown (may be 20 min due to road construction to Queenstown). Wonderful views of the lake and the Remarkables mountains! The service, room, hotel, and breakfast buffet were all incredible! This was my favorite stay during my 3 week trip in New Zealand. Convenient, underground garage parking available; kitchenette in-room for light cooking, very good heating/air conditioning in-room

Had such a wonderful stay at this hotel the bed was so comfortable to sleep on had a very restful sleep. The room was nice and cosy, very convenient to have a mini kitchen in the room to make your meals if you dont feel like dinning out. The service is definitely 5 star and the buffet breakfast was well worth paying for.

The property was lovely, the staff was kind and helpful. We had a fabulous time in Queenstown. The water taxi was very convenient for getting to town. One of the features that stood out was the breakfast each morning. There was a huge selection of different options for a satisfying breakfast and the food was quite good for buffet style. We would definitely recommend staying at the DoubleTree in Queenstown if you're visiting for any length of time.

Great Hotel! Property is beautiful! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room layouts are efficient and spacious! Loved the views from our window of the beautiful lake and mountains! My only sentiment is the breakfast area is not very open. They need fresh air and windows!
