My only complaint about this location is that the parking isn’t great. Both times I’ve stayed here. I’ve had to search around for parking for a while. But everything else is fantastic. It’s definitely not super quiet because it’s next to a very busy area, but it was fine for me

Parking is a pain. And since the two spaces in front of the hotel are not enforced, when it is busy it is impossible to park and get hold of anyone. Very poor at the beginning

I will go to Kasa Niche again. I love the space, it is ver comfortably cozy and super clean. I love the setup. Only downside is the parking space. Customer have to pay from 8a.m to 8p.m Monday through Sat. Sunday it is free.

Great location with modern rooms, free access to laundry facilities. There is a small kitchen area near the lobby. Coded entry eliminates the need for key cards. No elevator, but you can request a room on the main floor. There is only one other floor.

I started reading the reviews after I booked my room. I have to say that they scared me. There were a lot of unhappy people. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in the middle of downtown Redwood City with access to shopping, supermarkets, and amazing restaurants. The property is clean, has plenty of light, and has a friendly staff. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a pleasant stay. The hot water kettle and the queen bed were the best features.

Wonderful! The room is compact, but well laid out and very tidy! The property is spotless inside, not fancy, but tasteful and well maintained. There is a front desk assistant on duty, however, the virtual check-in process was seamless; the property provided all of the instructions to enter the building and my room in an easy to follow email. As an older, single traveler I really appreciated the simplicity. Complementary FIJI water in the room and an ample supply of Keurig K-cups, fridge, microwave and a safe for valuables. Amazing all this is provided at such a reasonable price! Would definitely stay here again, highly recommended

Neat, fresh, very clean. My only wish was that the ambient sound from the ventilation (?) was not so noticeable. As a light sleeper, it took a little ng time to adjust to the “system noise.”

The location was amazing, in the middle of downtown Redwood City. The room (I stayed in a junior suite) was one of those tiny but very efficiently laid out units. I enjoyed my stay, with a few caveats. 1) The miniature desk was just too small and the chair too uncomfortable for work. I ended up working from bed––ok for a few hours, but not an extended business trip. 2) The fridge was TOO LOUD. This seems to be a consistent problem with both Kasa locations I stayed at, and my sleep quality tends to be worse at Kasa than anywhere else I stayed. 3) The shades are not blackout. I appreciated the eyemask though. Overall, the location couldn't have been better, and it's always nice to stay at a brand new hotel, but I won't return expecting a restful stay and certainly not if I am traveling with somebody else--there was just barely enough room for one person.

Great concept a self-service hotel that’s only downside — for me at least — is the way sound travels: people talking next door, the flag of a toilet nearby, water rushing through pipes. The hotel must know this is an issue since the provide ear plugs (along with eye masks) in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is fun and central. Two nearby street blocks are blocked off to allow pedestrians to casually stroll. The room was light, bright, and clean. The lighting was well designed, thoughtful, and a bit luxe. Anywhere you needed a light, you'd find one. A band of white-violet light wraps around the bed and emanates between the mattress and the frame. The bathroom mirror light has three settings: cold, warm, and something else I've forgotten. There's a vessel sink, and a barn door separates the toilet and shower from the rest of the room. At the same time, I was disappointed by the coffee and tea selections, and surprised that they offered powdered creamers. I wanted at least one chair in the room, although I'm not sure where they'd put it. The refrigerator cycles on and off, which you may notice when trying to sleep. The shade design is really clever, but doesn't exactly create a blackout curtain effect. There was considerably less noise than a typical hotel. They offered eye masks and ear plugs, but we didn't end up using them. Overall, a nice place to stay for a night or two. Eventually, you'll want a chair.

The property had poor sound control and lighting. I had a window facing the street with light flooding in during the evening making it difficult to sleep, however, the property location is excellent and cleanliness was 10/10 as well. Loud refrigerator and heating system. The whole room kept buzzing loud noises all night long from the fridge or central heater . I prefer no fridge bc their fridge is so loud and disturbs your sleep.

Always enjoy to stay at this property. Clean convenient with lots of options for eating shopping and coffee in easy walking distance. Staff is on call by text message if you need anything and they are incredibly responsive.

Communicating with this property is virtually impossible. Yes, you can text them but unfortunately the agents are not well trained and any kind of response is usually very untimely making it very challenging to make plans. For example, I requested early check-in for Noon; received an email at 2:31 saying I could now check-in at Noon. Terrific. I could go on. Unfortunately the property tries to replace helpful, pleasant human interaction with automation and texts and fails miserably.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kasa Niche! The concept of this hotel is unique and works wonderfully! They were quick to accommodate my request for an early check in. They followed through just as they said they would by sending me the checking code 30 minutes before my check in time. The hotel was very clean, the rooms had everything you needed in them to be comfortable. The lobby area was equiped with additional things that maybe needed while there - it had a microwave, a fancy coffee and cocoa machine, a table in the kitchen area, a small library, a sitting area, and a work area. I was so impressed! The staff the was super friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and to make sure we had everything that we needed. I can't wait to come back again!!

Great location with modern rooms, free access to laundry facilities. There is a small kitchen area near the lobby. Coded entry eliminates the need for key cards. No elevator, but you can request a room on the main floor. There is only one other floor.

Great location, but parking can be difficult. Mini fridge and Keurig did not work. There was a nice working coffee machine in the lobby. Easy check-in/out process was a plus.

I was first put off by the virtual desk check-in but in the end, I was impressed by its efficiency and the hotel room. Really nice, comfortable amenities. To note: neither parking or breakfast are included, something I did not see until after I booked. But there is free overnight public parking and lots of restaurants close by.

I loved the ease and convenience of this hotel experience. The room was very clean. The complementary snacks were great. I also loved that they provided a white noise machine in the room.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kasa Niche! The concept of this hotel is unique and works wonderfully! They were quick to accommodate my request for an early check in. They followed through just as they said they would by sending me the checking code 30 minutes before my check in time. The hotel was very clean, the rooms had everything you needed in them to be comfortable. The lobby area was equiped with additional things that maybe needed while there - it had a microwave, a fancy coffee and cocoa machine, a table in the kitchen area, a small library, a sitting area, and a work area. I was so impressed! The staff the was super friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and to make sure we had everything that we needed. I can't wait to come back again!!

This place has become my home away from home. I often visit RWC from SR, can’t say enough about the location! Honestly, the place is a gem, folks visiting are very respectful in the common shared area. The staff is great, very helpful and professional. Thank you all for making me feel at home.

The one thing I wish had been clearer before booking is that the building does not have an elevator. I was traveling with heavy luggage, so getting everything up to a second-floor unit was difficult. The lack of an elevator is disclosed in the property details, but I think it would be helpful to make that more prominent during the booking process so guests can plan accordingly. Aside from that, I had a very good stay. The unit was clean, comfortable, convenient, and thoughtfully laid out, and the space worked really well for what I needed. The location was also very practical. Overall, I’d recommend it, with the caveat that guests with heavy luggage or mobility concerns should be aware of the stairs before booking.
