Great, spacious, clean room - more like a mini unit with all amenities and a fantastic balcony beach view. The pool area both indoors and outdoors was lovely and a bit of a treat for me to get to have a jacuzzi and steam room. A couple of issues with the room keys but resolved quickly and lifts were slow.

Hard to beat the location of this premises. So convenient to everything. The only downside is perhaps the complicated car parking arrangements which is exacerbated by the partial pedestrianisation of The Esplanade, which created access delays.

Great room, view and facilities, although the steam room was out of action the whole time. Wasnt impressed with quality of buffet also pancakes dry and gluggy. Barister made awesome coffee. The access key to the parking took them 3 goes before it worked, bit annoying that we had to go up to checkin twice, 3rd time I rang and they finally got concierge to let us in then renewed our parking access key and finally worked. Not something you want to deal with after a long drive

This was the perfect accommodation for a family mini break. Very convenient, beautiful views and we loved the downstairs indoor pool, sauna and steam room.

Great view. Great staff. Easy check in. 12 months ago all the plastering around indoor pool deck was falling from ceiling. Same still but worse. Does this place have a manager? If so their job is to walk around and observe the property. See something that needs fixing. Get it fixed. Not rocket science.

The room presented fine, bed was very uncomfortable. The TV sound couldn’t be heard over the terrible whistling sound coming from under the front door. We put a towel to seal it which helped, we wedged another chair against an inter joining room door which continued to bang in and out. The facilities were fine pool etc all good. Got stuck in elevator twice wouldn’t recommend staying here for the cost.

Perfect location but lift were malfunctioning so waiting 10 mins for full lifts negates the location convenience. Check in and concierge staffing not up to peppers Norma levels. Building is still really nice.

Excellent location with outstanding views. Room was spacious with everything you need. Comfortable beds. Not perfectly clean, but okay. Lifts were not working very well. Reception was efficient but not overly friendly. Pools were excellent.

The views from level 40 were sensational! The room was beautiful with an amazing spa bath! In room facilities were awesome and very handy (in room laundry, full size fridge and dishwasher) A new little annoyances with this hotel (which wouldn’t stop us staying there again). Entry on ground floor, reception on level 2, parking on B3 and limited luggage trolleys made it hard to empty our full car on checkin with 2 kids. We happily paid the high price of the room so that the kids could swim in the amazing indoor heated pool during this wet weather however, on the last days of the trip, the pool was closed for maintenance so it was a bit of a waste. When we did get to use them, the facilities (pool, spa and sauna) were second to none. Our swipe cards periodically stopped working which at one point saw myself and my toddler stuck in the car park and when we got to reception, the just reset it (not even an apology for the inconvenience) as I think it’s a common occurrence to them.

Great stay for a small family with young kids. 2bed 2bath, amazing ocean view on 50th floor. Shops and restaurants are very close walking distance and now the esplanade is closed to cars it’s much nicer with young kids. Things to note: Room could’ve been cleaner, dust, etc. Great Facilities but looking a little tired, broken tiles around indoor spa, mould and mildew. The sound was a little annoying from neighbours. Partiers in the above room were heard quite loudly when sitting outside as there is a small gap between balcony glass fence and the ground - sound travelled. Overall we would consider staying again if needed.

This was my third time staying here, and sadly, it was the worst. We arrived slightly early but had to wait until the exact check-in time. The two-bedroom apartment had a strong fishy smell in the kitchen and poorly maintained cookware. Despite requesting large beds in both rooms, one had two small single beds. Cleanliness was the worst we've experienced so far. The sauna was tiny and packed with over a dozen people—felt more like a public bath than a hotel facility. We paid $50 for a late check-out (until 11am), but with kids, we couldn’t finish breakfast until 10:20am. When I asked reception to extend to 12pm and offered to pay extra, they refused with a cold attitude and said to be out in 10–15 minutes. Breakfast was disappointing—stale bread, smelly cups, and tasteless food. The staff at reception showed no kindness or flexibility, and I felt their attitude was discriminatory. As an Australian resident, I’ve never had such a poor experience at this price point. This hotel acts like they don’t care because they’ll get other guests anyway. For this cost, I expected much better service and quality. Will never return.The only positive was the location and ocean view, which we've enjoyed in previous visits. However, this time, poor cleanliness, rude reception, and low breakfast quality ruined the experience. The lack of flexibility and hospitality was shocking for a hotel of this rating.

The apartments are in a great location walkable to lots within surfers but the property is very worn down however the prices they charge don’t reflect this. The pool upstairs don’t match the images anymore instead it has many missing tiles and rust everywhere. Furniture is cheap and in bad condition. The pools were extremely dirty with gross things floating around. Our room was also very poorly managed and cleaned. The curtains were gross and the balcony had dead bugs on our arrival and the balcony windows were also dirty. The house cleaning also did a bad job and room was not cleaned other than towel replacement for 5 days. This is at 3 star apartment at most charging 5 star prices still spend your money elsewhere. They need to refresh, clean and revamp everything!!!!!

The entrance, foyers, etc are beautiful, but the rooms are a bit tired and very dusty and worn looking. Housekeeping never did any dusting or dishes or even didn’t wipe the kitchen bench the whole 8 days we were there. We got heaps of towels and amenities which was great. Our aircon leaked and the safe locked itself, so had to call maintenance twice. Pool area and vibe around the pool is great, but again wasn’t the cleanest. Nothing looked wiped from one day to the next.

A lot of water damage visible on ceilings in common areas. Holes in walls with fans blowing inside the walls. Pool chairs were absolutely rotten, dirty and worn which was surprising and disappointing for this 5 star resort. Glass/mirrors in room dirty with hand prints visible. Thick dust above fridge. All cleaning rags and mops left dirty inside washing machine from housekeeping. Great location and view. Room was ok minus concerns above.

We recently stayed at the Peppers Soul Gold Coast in a 3-bedroom apartment. The location is excellent, with great nearby restaurants and stunning ocean views. While the apartment was spacious, some areas felt a bit dated, with stained carpets and scuff marks in the bathrooms. That said, the staff were very friendly and helpful, which made our stay more enjoyable overall.

Room was fantastic as far as space and view goes. Bed was average as well as shower. Lifts were a nightmare as you waited a long time. Parking and surrounding area was awsome .

Room on the 9th floor was OK, at best. The TV in the living room was small and old (not a smart TV). The TV in the bedroom was newer (smart TV). Not that any of that mattered because they have no casting capabilities in the rooms and you are not permitted to stream video - "emails and light browsing only" on the Internet policy. That is beyond a joke in 2023. I'd be cautious if you are a family because the free-to-air tv may not keep the wee-ones entertained for long. A premium price to stay in this hotel and the available internet did not allow streaming. The sofa was incredibly uncomfortable and needs replacing (broken springs, sags, etc). The bed was pretty good. Pillows were all far too soft. Daily cleaning didn't happen on the first day, and then happened over 2 visits the following day. They were also knocking on the door to get in and get us out at 10:04am.

Overall property is great. The few down sides, the room we had had no curtains in living area making the TV unusable during daylight hours due to reflection and difficult to sleep in with the entire apartment lite up from sunrise. Elevators have long waits. Construction sounds from other levels travels through elevator shaft.

The room was spacious and the pillows are comfortable. The view is one of the better views on the strip (front facing the beach). But on the downside the ironing board was broken the toaster only partially worked and some of the items in the kitchen and front of fridge was dirty. The mattress is near the end of its life. The service for breakfast was unfortunately poor. Seated for twenty minutes before going looking for someone to take the order. No acknowledgment from staff when you leave. Food that was cooked for you was above average but the continental side of things was just ok. I’ve now stayed in nearly all the hotels on the strip and kept this stay for a special occasion, overall I was a little underwhelmed. The lifts are mostly full and at times you can wait 15minutes for one. Although more expensive it is similar to many of the other well know hotels.

The service for breakfast was unfortunately poor. Seated for twenty minutes before going looking for someone to take the order. No acknowledgment from staff when you leave. Food that was cooked for you was above average but the continental side of things was just ok. I’ve now stayed in nearly all the hotels on the strip and kept this stay for a special occasion, overall I was a little underwhelmed. The lifts are mostly full and at times you can wait 15minutes for one. Although more expensive it is similar to many of the other well know hotels.

We recently stayed at the Peppers Soul Gold Coast in a 3-bedroom apartment. The location is excellent, with great nearby restaurants and stunning ocean views. We are annual m/ Bi annual visitors to the Gold Coast and normally stay at Broadbeach but decided to try out Peppers Soul and what a find! The views from our room were amazing from our ocean view room, room clean,tidy and spacious and had everything we needed. Our first impressions from the reception staff to leaving exceeded our expectations, we love this place! The carpark is great, amenities in the complex great and wonderful restaurants all within walking distance. We will definitely be back! Thank you 5 stars!!

Everything else was fine, but the cleanliness and hospitality were very poor. The reception was not helpful, and the room was not cleaned properly. You had to call several times or go in person just to have the towels changed. Overall, the housekeeping service was very weak and disappointing.

Amazing location, with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. However, our room wasnt ready upon our arrival, we were told to wait which we did. However, we were forgotten and had to re-attend and remind them we were still waiting. When we got to our room there was still rubbish on the carpets. The two phones to call reception were unplugged and left broken on the bench top, the door mechanism was broken and would randomly make a very loud humming noise that would wake us up in the night and the main indoor pool was drained and closed for the entirety of our stay.

This place ticks all the boxes whether your a couple or a large family with young children. From food to entertainment everything is at your doorstep. And if you decide to have a lazy day in there is a pool, sauna, gym and even a bar/restaurant on the second floor so you dont have to leave. And not to mention the views from this place are amazing, the rooms are big, very clean and kept to a high standard and the beds are super comfortable. Staff were super pleasant to deal with and are always more than happy to help. We will definitely be back. Thanks again

This is an extremely busy place. Not a full hotel, but private owned apartments. They do not have the structure of a nice hotel. Breakfast is very poor and the worst part is the communication with front desk, they really don't care about costumer service. They charge $20 if you want to have coffee refills in your room. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

The internet didn’t work in our room and was very poor in general. We hotspot to our children for tv The coffee machine didn’t work. The plug didn’t work in the bath so we couldn’t use the spa. Communication from staff was poor, when the man came up to try to fix the tv he just left without saying anything and didn’t fix anything.

Beautiful room with a view of the the complete gold coast beach strip. The rooms were comfortable and modern with all amenities inc. Washing machine, dryer, hair dryer & iron/board. The location is walkable to the main Surfers shopping and restaurant area. And about a 7min walk to the 50cent Tram that currently goes down to Pacfic Fair shopping centre. It's a great location for a first visit to the Gold Coast.

Location is right at the heart of Surfers Paradise. The apartment has generous living space, with fully functioning kitchen and laundry facilities. It was very comfortable. Reception and staff were helpful and courteous. We got prompt response to our requests. Breakfast at Hyde restaurant was fantastic, we could not ask for a better one. The wait staff were fantastic.

Great room, view and facilities, although the steam room was out of action the whole time. Wasnt impressed with quality of buffet also pancakes dry and gluggy. Barister made awesome coffee. The access key to the parking took them 3 goes before it worked, bit annoying that we had to go up to checkin twice, 3rd time I rang and they finally got concierge to let us in then renewed our parking access key and finally worked. Not something you want to deal with after a long drive

The buffet was so poor, hardly anything to chose from, and several canned fruits in stead of fresh fruit. You had to pay extra for barista coffee. Don’t take valet parking, there is no one there to help you with the car. Garage works fine though. Pool area without any serving of food or drinks. Rooms ok but very sterile and windows very dirty. Would not go back or recommend.

It was a beautiful place! Wonderful amenities, steps to the beach. Great location, close to everything. Great brunch and restaurant was fabulous! We didn’t want to leave…… Treat yourself to ocean view, it was stunning!!

We had a lovely stay at Pepper Soul. Whilst travelling up the coastal route from Sydney. We had a 1 bed appt on 32nd floor with an ocean view which was spotless. An added bonus was washing machine and dryer to help our onward travels with limited luggage for our holiday duration. We did surf lessons whilst there and used the Tram to go towards Burley for some lovely restaurants.

The property is unpredictable. Some of the apartments are fantastic and some are not so great. For $600 a night we would expect the property to be in better condition unfortunately it wasn’t the case. Mould in the bathroom. And not a very good clean.

There were a few negatives unfortunately. Our apartment had 2 locked off areas, thus misrepresenting the SqM size of the room given this space was unavailable. I have stayed at apartments quoted with similar size and they have felt much more spacious than a small living area and bedroom only. Other somewhat minor inconveniences - our balcony was inaccessible from the living area, only the access via the bedroom door unlocked. There were no complimentary items such as bottled water provided in the mini bar. The air con was difficult to control temperature wise with only very warm or very cool settings easy to obtain. Communication wise, my original requests and preferences were never replied to or honoured/considered. Positives - the lobby and hotel generally are very modern and clean and felt premium. Also the view from the balcony was outstanding and to be expected when paying higher end pricing. Bathroom and in room spa were also very enjoyable, however I am surprised so many places are going with tubs now rather than proper spa baths. In short, I'd be unlikely to stay again unless a significantly reduced price presented on special. I believe other hotels such as Q1, Hilton and Mantra present a better overall experience at the current price bracket.
