The hosts were kind and welcoming, the breakfast was tasty and the location quite convenient. The only downside was the air conditioning system, which was not cooling well.

Such an excellent place to stay and enjoy Cesky-Krumlov! Central location, but quiet and private. Clean clean clean! Feels tucked away, but everything is so close and convenient. Amazing breakfasts! Hosts were super helpful and accommodating. The bed was amazingly comfortable. There is nothing not to love.

Monastery Garden is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of Český Krumlov, a beautiful medieval town full of character and history. The breakfast is delicious, and the rooms are clean, spacious, and uniquely decorated, adding to the hotel’s distinctive charm. My only recommendation is to pack light. Cars are not permitted on the town’s cobblestone streets, and the hotel does not have an elevator, so luggage must be carried by hand. Other than that, this hotel offers a wonderful experience. Sit back, enjoy the stunning views, explore the picturesque surroundings, and experience the warmth and friendliness of the local people.

We loved staying here in this over 500-year-old building. Nice location. The owner was very nice and helpful in getting a cab for us from the bus station. We stayed in the deluxe room on the top floor — up about 55 stairs but not hard. There are ten rooms altogether. Our room was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. It was the top floor with huge old beams. One thing to know is the tub is in the bedroom with a curtain you can pull around it but there’s no wall shower, just a hand hose. So it’s awkward if you’re not used to that. We had a nice breakfast (additional $) the first morning but they didn’t serve food Tuesday and Wednesday, but there are cafes within walking distance. The whole town is in walking distance! I would have loved to spend more time talking to the owner and his wife as they are just lovely people. We would like to come back some day.
