Loved this spot for our Napa adventure! The breakfast was the best part, followed by the complimentary wine hours, coffee, cookies, and port. We stayed in the junior suite and loved the soaking tub and fire place nook. Comfy bed, off street parking, and walkable to downtown for dinner!

Lovely, historic house, now Inn. The house has lots of character and the common rooms are large and inviting. Great location as it’s within walking distance of downtown with many shops and restaurants. The proprietors were friendly. Breakfasts, which are included, are generous. The included wine hour late each afternoon is a great way to try some local wines and to meet other guests. A nice, added touch is the plate of fresh cookies and bowl of apples always available for you to help yourself. We stayed in Room 2, which is located on the main floor of the house. It was amazingly quiet, given that its door is adjacent to the breakfast room. The room and adjoining bathroom were both huge and the king sized bed was comfortable. The downsides were that the flame for the gas fireplace was too bright, thus making the room too bright for sleeping well, and the ensuite got very chilly in the night because it’s heated by a unit that you have to turn on. This would not be an issue when the overnight temperatures stay warm. Once the heating unit was turned in, however, the room warmed up fairly quickly.

Excellent! Only problem is no way to avoid some stairs which is a problem for some people and difficult to get out of parking without backing into street traffic.

This B&B is absolutely lovely. It sits so elegantly in a beautiful neighborhood and is in walking distance from downtown Napa. Both the owner and concierge were lovely and each served us wine and cheese at 5:30 at night. We also enjoyed the truffles left in our room, as well as the refrigerator stocked with drinks. The cottage was spacious and really pretty. The bathroom was well appointed and had plenty of counter space for the two of us. There was a kumquat tree laden with fruit right outside our door. I was encouraged to pick anything I wanted. Great parking too.

This bed and breakfast is the perfect place to stay for your trip to Napa. It’s within a very short walk to downtown Napa and has free parking! Each morning you are treated to a hearty breakfast and each afternoon you’re treated to wine and charcuterie. We stayed in the garden room which was spacious and had a lovely jacuzzi tub as a bonus! Our stay was perfect and Carrie is an excellent host. Stay here for your next trip to Napa - you’ll have no regrets!

1801 is a great place to stay. We stayed in the separate Carriage House cottage. It was well appointed and a delightful stay. The room is great and has a fireplace between the bedroom and bathroom, and has a lovely outdoor patio. The owner was fantastic and has a wine tatting every evening at 5:30. Breakfast was delicious and you are well cared for. We'll definitely stay here again when we return.

Our stay at 1801 was wonderful! We knew we would be arriving after check-in hours, and the owner was very nice about making arrangements with us to still get our key. The breakfast was wonderful each morning, and their were always cookies out throughout the day for a little snack. The bed and pillows were super comfortable! There is a lovely garden area to enjoy and the lots of pretty hibiscus and orange trees on property. It's also nice easy walk to downtown Napa. Loved it here!

We had a wonderful time staying at 1801 First Luxury Inn in Napa! The Inn is lovely! We arrived late in the evening after a long day traveling from New York to fine a welcome note, homemade chocolates, and a wine and cheese plate in our cottage. We stayed in the Garden Cottage, which was cozy and welcoming, with a working fireplace and a lovely patio with a fountain that was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine. The cottage also had a coffee maker and refrigerator, which was an added bonus. Breakfast in the main Inn was another wonderful surprise that we looked forward to each day. The homemade pastries (different each morning) and fresh fruit (with secret syrups) were beyond delicious, and having the choice between three breakfast options, including a daily breakfast special, was such a treat for us! Carrie is a wonderful host and the other owner was charming, funny and very welcoming. The Inn is in a wonderful location and was central to all of our favorite spots in Napa, Sonoma, St. Helena and Yountville. We can’t wait to return to Napa and to stay at this special Inn again when we do!

The Hostess was great! And I mean great! She made you feel completely liked and cared for. Great sense of humor. The room was immaculate. Breakfast was nice, healthy and worthwhile I most definitely recommend this place for anyone interested in visiting Napa

They put us in a "suite" on the ground floor, like right in front of the entrance and outside the breakfast area. It was extremely loud, especially in the mornings when we wanted to sleep in. You could hear other guests and the clean staff vacuuming close by. The owner, Lauren, runs around stomping with her high heels during breakfast to serve the guests. Again, not my idea of relaxing. We asked for a late check out at 1:30pm and Lauren laughed in my face and said she would allow us to check out at 1pm instead. It was nice of them to accommodate but I don't think she needed to laugh in my face at my request. The breakfast was good and I enjoyed the cookies they left out for the guests in the dining area. The room was clean but we did not allow anyone to enter to clean the room because the room did not have a safe to store our valuables. I do not recommend if you're looking for something relaxing. If you're going to wake up early and go out and about then this does the job.

The property was amazing. The room was clean! It was also really big, comfortable bed with a fireplace and large soaking tub. The breakfast that we had both days was delicious, truly they have a talented chef. We plan to stay here every time we come.

Understanding it’s a home built in 1903, but we had the superior room and it was very outdated needed new carpeting and a fresh coat of paint. The pictures did not look the same as it did on Expedia. The lobby was cute,

The property is just a short walk to downtown, with outstanding diner and shopping options. The staff is excellent, and breakfast was outstanding. We highly recommend the inn, or only negative comment would be it needs a little capital investment in the infrastructure (bathroom) and (carpet) was tired in our room.

Lovely spot and beautiful area right near downtown Napa… Convenient to everything. Five minute walk to downtown Napa. Very welcoming and thoughtful staff. Quiet. Delicious breakfast And other touches like fresh cookies all day and port for a nightcap. The only thing I would say could be improved is the bed comfort… I’m a very sensitive sleeper and I found the beds a little too hard, but I may be an exception.

Lovely, historic house, now Inn. The house has lots of character and the common rooms are large and inviting. Great location as it’s within walking distance of downtown with many shops and restaurants. The proprietors were friendly. Breakfasts, which are included, are generous. The included wine hour late each afternoon is a great way to try some local wines and to meet other guests. A nice, added touch is the plate of fresh cookies and bowl of apples always available for you to help yourself. We stayed in Room 2, which is located on the main floor of the house. It was amazingly quiet, given that its door is adjacent to the breakfast room. The room and adjoining bathroom were both huge and the king sized bed was comfortable. The downsides were that the flame for the gas fireplace was too bright, thus making the room too bright for sleeping well, and the ensuite got very chilly in the night because it’s heated by a unit that you have to turn on. This would not be an issue when the overnight temperatures stay warm. Once the heating unit was turned in, however, the room warmed up fairly quickly.

Lovely Victorian house within walking distance to downtown Napa. Loved the complimentary wine, cheese and conversation at the 5:30pm happy hour. Very good breakfast and hospitable hosts. I hope to be able to come again when I can stay longer! The only minor issue was that we kept losing the wi/fi signal in our garden room.

The stay was amazing, except for the mattress and pillows in Suite 1! I felt like the mattress was contemporary with the antique furnishings… the owner and her employees are great… but the mattress in that suite should reflect the luxury of everything else!

The property was amazing. The room was clean! It was also really big, comfortable bed with a fireplace and large soaking tub. The breakfast that we had both days was delicious, truly they have a talented chef. We plan to stay here every time we come.

They put us in a "suite" on the ground floor, like right in front of the entrance and outside the breakfast area. It was extremely loud, especially in the mornings when we wanted to sleep in. You could hear other guests and the clean staff vacuuming close by. The owner, Lauren, runs around stomping with her high heels during breakfast to serve the guests. Again, not my idea of relaxing. We asked for a late check out at 1:30pm and Lauren laughed in my face and said she would allow us to check out at 1pm instead. It was nice of them to accommodate but I don't think she needed to laugh in my face at my request. The breakfast was good and I enjoyed the cookies they left out for the guests in the dining area. The room was clean but we did not allow anyone to enter to clean the room because the room did not have a safe to store our valuables. I do not recommend if you're looking for something relaxing. If you're going to wake up early and go out and about then this does the job.

Upon arrival, we were shown to our room but were not provided with any information regarding keys or building access. No key was handed to us, and after searching, we believe it may have fallen behind the table where your staff member briefly placed it. Lacking a key, we had no means to lock our room and, assuming this was acceptable under the circumstances, left it unlocked when we went out. Additionally, there was no staff present at reception when we left, so we had no opportunity to inquire about the key or access procedures. Upon our return, we found the entire building locked with no way to re-enter. There was no signage outside indicating what to do or who to call in such a situation. Multiple calls to your contact number went unanswered, leaving us stranded without assistance. Delicious breakfast And other touches like fresh cookies all day and port for a nightcap. The only thing I would say could be improved is the bed comfort… I’m a very sensitive sleeper and I found the beds a little too hard, but I may be an exception.

We loved our stay here! The staff were so sweet. Amazing location (we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go). Cottages were cute and felt private. The breakfast was the nicest complimentary breakfast we’ve experienced.

Staff was lovely, everyone was incredibly kind and personable. Food was excellent; breakfast choices were all delicious and the welcome truffles in the room were amazing. Bed and breakfast is a little off the main “strip” for Downtown Napa but certainly walkable to anything. Overall, a really nice stay!

The owner hosts wine tasting on Friday night and it was wonderful. The breakfast is top notch with fresh baked sweets to go with the meal. Always coffee available. There were plenty of amenities and it was easy enough to walk around everywhere.

We had a wonderful time staying at 1801 First Luxury Inn in Napa! The Inn is lovely! We arrived late in the evening after a long day traveling from New York to fine a welcome note, homemade chocolates, and a wine and cheese plate in our cottage. We stayed in the Garden Cottage, which was cozy and welcoming, with a working fireplace and a lovely patio with a fountain that was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine. The cottage also had a coffee maker and refrigerator, which was an added bonus. Breakfast in the main Inn was another wonderful surprise that we looked forward to each day. The homemade pastries (different each morning) and fresh fruit (with secret syrups) were beyond delicious, and having the choice between three breakfast options, including a daily breakfast special, was such a treat for us! Carrie is a wonderful host and the other owner was charming, funny and very welcoming. The Inn is in a wonderful location and was central to all of our favorite spots in Napa, Sonoma, St. Helena and Yountville. We can’t wait to return to Napa and to stay at this special Inn again when we do!

Check in was wonderful as we received a quick tour. Breakfast was superb every day, didn't expect that quality. Garden room was spot on as it adjoined the gorgeous patio. If I had one very minor nit, it would be that I didn't know if and when they were doing afternoon happy hour. However, we were out and about so it probably didn't matter. The location is easy walking distance to downtown Napa for us seniors which really is a huge perk. I would certainly stay there again. Love the staff and the property. Thank you!
