It was quite obvious that they are reworking the property and quite nicely. Even no coffee pot was not a big deal. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Thank you for asking.

No breakfast. Told cleaners not to come in the first day, that they could clean the following day. They waited until we left and came in anyway. No 'do not disturb' sign available.

Overall, the stay was satisfactory, it served its purpose as a place to sleep. The outside could use some some sprucing up, stairs were broken and trash around the property. Location was convenient.

This motel is a good vale and had extra helpful, friendly staff. However, the exterior was filthy. And the rooms look like they were upgraded about 5 years ago, but zero maintenance has been done since then. They should pressure wash the exterior and pick up the trash on the parking lot. These are easy, inexpensive fixes that would make a world of difference.

The property does not look like much from the outside, but the rooms are totally refreshed, great showers, new LVP floors and doesn't smell like smoke!! The owners are on property and care about this facility. The only reasons not 5 stars is road noise is a bit loud and they had a work crew re-roofing the entire roof and was noisy from about 8:30am until 6pmish. However the owners moved us to a room less noisy and was much better. We will stay here again. Great place for the price!

Did not get any information about there being no power, but was allowed to book a room and still received no refund.

I cant say anything bad really except the drink machine was empty. Otherwise i got what i expected and it was what my family needed for the night. I am grateful we had lodging and they dont claim to be a 5 star hotel. So we were happy with our stay. We had power, a clean room and hot water.

I received a call when we were two hours away from arrival demanding another payment method by phone stating that my virtual credit card was denied. Caller ID didn't identify the motel so it was difficult to discern if the call was legit. The caller was EXTREMELY difficult to understand as English was his second language. He threatened to cancel my rooms. Due to it being graduation there were no other rooms in the area. This caused undue stress on an already stressful drive. After checking, my Hotels.com booking I verified that the phone call was legit. Everything in our conversation had to be repeated due to the communication issue. Despite this being a non- smoking facility, both rooms smelled of smoke. One room had heavy tobacco and weed smoke. We requested another room. The manager apologized and accommodated my request. Floors were a dark colored vinyl and absolutely filthy. I spilled something on the floor and wiped it up with a damp towel and the dirt from the floor made the towel brown like coffee. The bottom of my niece's feet were dirty from walking barefoot on the floor. I tried to upload a photo of the towel but the app has a glitch Sheets were stained, the upholstered furniture was visibly soiled. The building was being repaired which made for an early morning greeting of construction noise. The best thing about the stay was that the staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable but neither would incline me to ever stay at this property again.

Very clean. They have made updates to rooms. For this price point it was a nice stay and well thought out for meeting the needs of their guests.

Faucet was coming a loose. Had hair lingering in tub as well as two dead roaches in the corner. Hotel was very convenient to local restaurants like Louie’s. Amazing food. Check in was a breeze and look like they were renovated but cleanliness and pest complaints was not kept up.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel room. The room was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in was very friendly and welcoming. Overall a very nice and would recommend to friends and family. We will be back.

We just needed a place to sleep and shower. The price was very reasonable and the bed was great. The shower was newly remodeled and also great. The room even had a nice new, large flat screen TV. The place isn't fancy but was just what we look for when just needing a quick overnight stay.

Property has had some upgrades but it a lower-grade facility. Bed was comfortable, but pillows were horrible. Clean shower and bathroom, great water pressure. AC was adequate. Room was clean and had some updates but the couch was stained and very poor condition. Road noise and noise from other rooms was noticeable about 4:30 AM.

The room was okay, but only had an outdated TV with cable, unadjustable shower head in the shower, and the mattress was fairly clean, but stained. My room was also not ready at check-in time, so waited about 15-20 minutes for it to be cleaned. The guy working the front desk was fairly unfriendly, as well, and I was questioned about if I would have guests in my room, which was pretty annoying.

Water pressure was garbage

As a dad, I stayed here for Clemson parents weekend. I paid $300 for two nights, and you get what you pay for. The hotel is old but the owner has put in effort to paint each room, update the bathroom some, new mattresses, new TV and laminate flooring. Yes, I found a few bugs in my room but NO bed bugs. The hotel faces a busy road and the doors to the rooms face this road and are old so they let in a lot of light and noise. It is convenient to Clemson, there are a lot of restaurants around and it's right off the highway. Not sure I would stay here again, I know my wife wouldn't stay here.

The property is definitely dated, but the rooms were nice. Hardwood floors were very welcomed, and don't understand why more hotels/motels don't do that

Close by food options, Nice staff and close to town

The key wouldn’t open the door. They came and let us in with master key…never got another key and also no late checkout at all not even for a price. But all in all great for the price

When we checked in I got a room for two clean beds and they gave us two doubles and said that they didn't have queen size beds. Then when we get to the room we had no toilet paper our mini fridge didn't work and our microwave didn't work they said there was nothing they could do about it then a day after our stay the TV stopped working and they said there was nothing we could do about that as well the body wash they provided was empty and also when they went in they just didn't knock they just tried to enter your room which is very creepy if you're staying with your wife and baby and you're at work

This hotel might be a little older but it was very nice inside and significantly cheaper than the ones around it. Comfortable bed, great shower, and easy access to the interstate. I will be back
