Great food! Awesome location, excellent staff, clean rooms, calm atmosphere, very relaxing amazing pool!

If you want to visit Goa you must stay at the Marriott in Benaulim-everything about our stay was perfect. Despite arriving at 9am for a 3pm check-in the staff were able to check all of us in early. From that moment on the staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They organised a special birthday surprise for my mum, which was so lovely! I have stayed in many hotels across the world, however I have never experienced hospitality to this expectional level. The hotel has a lovely pool and a great restaurant. We particularly enjoyed breakfast and the many options. Having the beach so close by was wonderful and the free beach buggy was an added bonus. We travelled with my Dad, who is in his 80s, he said this would be his last trip to Goa. However due to the fantastic stay we had he said he cannot wait to go back- I think this says it all. Thank you to everyone who made our stay really so memorable.

FANTASTIC IN EVERY WAY. ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN. SORRY WE HAD TO LEAVE. IT WAS SO RELAXING. THE SERVICE / STAFF / FOOD/ POOL/ GYM/ LOCATION WERE OUTSTANDING. BOOK THIS HOTEL WITHOUT ANY WORRIES.

I was there for 5 nights and would very easily have stayed longer; the staff is amicable and has great customer service, the rooms and layout are very good, nice pool and poolside bar, and close proximity to the beach.

We loved this hotel, it is with in walking distance to the beach. The food, pool and gym were great.

The resort is beautiful with a large pool, great spa and 24 hour gym. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The beach is a short 5 minute walk away, and there is a beach transfer available on a motorised rickshaw. The room was cleaned timeously and meticulously every day. The rooms are however very very small and it was a squeeze for 3 travellers who shared one room. Given the pricing of resorts in South Goa though, this hotel is great value for money- if you’re willing to compromise on space. There is a taxi stand outside the hotel, for convenient travel around the region- but- they charge excessive rates especially knowing that you’re staying at the Marriott.

Great property , a little walk to the beach, but amenities make up for it. Food was excellent. Lots of restaurants nearby for food options. They also call Taxi service for you to go anywhere within Goa. Pool was great. Massage Spa was great.

Such an excellent, beautiful, clean and service oriented property....I am a regular traveler to different parts of the world but this is by far my best stay in all aspects... Benilium beach is 5 min walk and is very clean....hotel offers free shuttle service also to the beach...meals spread is amazing and the kind of service they focus on is commendable...highly recommend....

This was our fifth stay here — and we loved every bit of it! Even though the staff has completely changed since our last visit, the warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism remain top-notch. The rooms are spotless, the housekeeping is excellent, and the buggy service to the beach makes everything effortless. The food is absolutely delicious — they even tailor it to your preferences, which is a lovely touch. Cabs are easy to arrange, the surroundings are peaceful, and the entire stay feels seamless from start to finish. We keep coming back for a reason — this place never disappoints! 🌺

We had a great stay. The property was close the beach and had shops near by. Low cleanliness rating only given as there was a room service tray in the hall near our room for two days. It only disappeared when we requested someone removed it (housekeeping didn't take it away). Restaurant staff were great and check in and out were fast. If we come back to India we would definitely stay again.

When we arrived in our room, the Balcony was filthy. I think birds come into the balcony and mess the floor. But surely this should be checked and supervised. The temperature in the air conditioned restaurant was way too cold ? Making one uncomfortable to have their meal there

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, especially in terms of room size and cleanliness. As an international guest, I believe this does not meet Marriott standards; I would sadly compare it to a Holiday Inn in the UK. All the rooms are standard size, which is quite small, and several other reviews have also mentioned this issue. The worst part of our stay was the poor insulation in the rooms. We could hear every single conversation happening in the corridor, and on some occasions, we were woken up at 6 AM by other guests having loud discussions outside our door. If you're jet-lagged, this is not the place to stay. I have stayed in many beach hotels in South Goa, and unfortunately, this one is the worst. The bathroom is very small and felt dirty even after it was cleaned by the staff. The grout is turning black in some areas, and there are signs of rust on the metal fixtures. While the front staff were great and accommodating, it seems the hotel is attracting the wrong type of crowds, especially domestic tourists. Sadly, we will not be returning to this hotel in the future.

The problem at room is the sand in the floor… Do they vacuum clean??? I ‘m sure they do not! We stayed 4 days and no sound of vacuum cleaning Another point … breakfast so many food but no cheese at all. Staff very friendly !!

Good things: pool, safe in room, spa service is good. Dinning- food is good. Bad: no hand towel provided had to call them 2-4 times. Bug spatters throughout room. Mosquitoes were biting us at night. Had to squeeze the soap bottles very hard. Toilet tissues were not provided and had to be asked twice for the same. Sanitary conditions throughout this property are poor with ton of mosquitoes.

We stayed here for a little over 2 weeks on what was our first trip to India. I am so glad we picked this hotel, it really could not have been better suited to our needs. It’s is located in a very convenient spot close to the beach but an easy 5 min walk into Benaulim village. There are ample shacks and restaurants within a 5 to 10 min walk. It is spotlessly clean and very peaceful, food and drinks are excellent and extremely good value. None of the above are the true strength of Fairfield Benaulim tho, because as good as all that is it is the staff that make the place special. We have travelled a lot over the years and have never been anywhere where the staff are like they are here. I wish I could remember more of the names and list each of them as they are all truly outstanding. There’s warmth and genuineness about each of them, there only concern is that you are enjoying there stay and on many occasions they did things to help that were above and beyond. From the manager who spent time chatting with us every day, to the gardeners, cleaning staff, restaurant and bar staff all were very and attentive and a credit to the hotel. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay 🙏🙏🇮🇳

Very clean and excellent pool area. Rooms reasonable size and of a very good standard. Food was plentiful and good quality. Staff always willing to help. Short walk to a wonderful beach.

We chose this hotel because we have friends living in Benaulim and could visit them easily. The hotel was quiet and absolutely spotless- we didn’t see an insect for 14 days. The staff were very friendly, polite and attentive- they go above and beyond in service. The food choice is good, and the breakfast and evening buffets offer a good variety and are great value. Goa seems to have a problem with packs of wild dogs on the roads and the beaches, but if you leave them alone they won’t bother you. We had a great holiday and feel ready to return to the grindstone!

They gave the place out for some wedding and our room overlooked loud music and dancing. Not what we paid for .. absolutely nonsence.

Not your typical Fairfield, which is generally nice. This one goes beyond expectations with a new concept - open air lobby, near a gorgeous beach, great restaurant with so many options for breakfast and more, and in a quiet location. Rooms are functional and clean. Will stay again.

Rooms supposed to be bigger as compared while booking rooms. Balcony is like 2 chairs outside the room with no view and access .. Just waste of money as compared to other hotels .

Our stay in the Fairfield was exceptional. From the beautiful foyer to the adequately sized and comfortable room, the hotel was very well appointed and provided all requirements. However the outstanding feature was the superb service offered by the staff. There was a high staff/guest ratio. All were smiling, friendly and extremely attentive, most even anticipating our wishes and choices after one asking! Thoroughly recommended.

The property was decent. However the staff were trying to nickel and dime everything. Staff was also confused on policies for dining for children. We were told at check in that children eat free. First day at breakfast, the staff only billed us for adults. Next day, they billed us for kids too. When I enquired on policy, they seemed confused, no one seemed to know what the answer was not even management! There was no written policy on our agreement nor of the hotel. It really put a damper on everything.

The staff, facilities and access to the beach was truly excellent. The stay was made sweeter by the team at the reception and the restaurant - very attentive and mindful of the guest needs.

I have stayed in over 150 properties in the last 4 years from 2 stars to 5 stars. This by far has the best service I have seen. I had booked about 15 minutes prior to arrival and they had no information at the front desk. The staff knew enough to refresh the system and find the information rather than telling me they had no information. When the room key did not work the porter was apologetic and went running to the desk to reprogrammed the key. Next morning at breakfast buffet the staff were very alert and kept tabs. There was a delay at the dosa station. They kept me informed and asked whether they could get me something else in the mean time. Most importantly I did not have to call the staff, they kept tabs and checked in on their own. I needed some documents printed and was looking for the business Centre. They did not have one but the front desk took upon themselves to print out the documents. When I asked for a late check out the staff at the front desk did it right away with no hesitation or asking anyone . Finally just before checkout the housekeeping staff knocked on the door to enquire about their services and gave a small momento but more importantly a hand written note. All in all, a very empowered staff and more importantly it was in their culture to individualize the service and take pride in their work. Hats off to the staff and whoever is responsible for developing this culture.

A relatively small, 2-storey, modern hotel located about 800m from Benaulim Beach. And relatively inexpensive compared to other chain hotels in the area. But no compromise on quality: very clean, contemporary rooms; possibly the politest, attentive hospitality staff I’ve encountered - from room cleaners upwards; good variety of food. The pool’s not huge but does its job and enough sun loungers to go around while I was there. Not much to do nearby (ie. absence of the South Goa seaside dystopia), which makes for a quiet location. Some easily walkable beach bars/restaurants. Local (and I do mean local) shopping, hairdressers, etc. about 1km away. More retail/services choice in Margao, 7km away. An off-meter wait-and-return taxi costs about INR1,000 for a couple of hours. I extended my stay by two days.

Sehr schönes Hotel um mal auszuspannen. Sehr gutes Frühstück und sehr gutes Restaurant zu vernünftigen Preisen. Zum Strand muss man etwa 5 minuten laufen, kann sich aber auch fahren lassen.

Lovely hotel in an excellent position for the beach and restaurants. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Great swimming pool. Absolutely no complaints during our 5 night stay. Would definitely return to this superb hotel.

Staff were very courteous and helpful. The Breakfast was great with a good selection of local and International food options. Highly recommend the 'Ros Omlette'. The only negative is that the bathrooms and rooms have begun to show their age. Grouting in the bathroom needs to be fixed

Rooms were clean . Bathroom waste baskets need to be replaced . Breakfast buffet needs to be improved . Food left on the hot plate for too long ! Imagine having danish pastries heated to a crisp that they turn into burnt toast

The food at the breakfast and dinner was the same menu. I would appreciate if they change menu for people staying 5 days will end up eating same stuff. Also flavoring needs to get better
