Club Wyndham Ka Eo Kai

Lovely and peaceful. Well appointed. Great pool. Comfortable. Usable and well-stocked kitchenettenin the studio!

Hot tub was always too packed and couldn’t use it. Pool was nice. Morgan at the front desk and the security guy were great. The on-site lei making and hula lesson were excellent. The food truck, Taste of Asia, at the sister property, Bali Hai, had the best breakfast and lunch. Anini beach, nearby, was perfect. The property was fine, other than the hot tub availability. The free Noni Farm tour was worth the time.

Beautiful condo, very large and comfortable. The grounds and the pool are all amazing. There is a great walking running trail across the street

They gave us an "adjoining" room (supposed studio) which means we were basically staying with a family of 4 (2 kids) separated by a door. It was as if they were in the room with us. Crying baby upstairs. Property had a nice pool but no bar or grill or food at all. We were supposed to prepare our meals in our "kitchen." Basically, it was just a hotel room with no privacy. Not worth the money. We left 3 days early with no refund possible.

Noisy. The windows are slatted and don’t close completely, so you can hear the roosters very clearly, which started crowing just after midnight every night and didn’t stop. After the first night, we checked out as soon as our cancellation policy would let us. Since we had to stay a few nights, we wore earplugs and played brown noise through our portable speaker, which helped a little, but still woke a few times a night. Other than that, it was nice. The economy room was small, but our room had a hot plate, utensils, cookware, dishes, coffee maker, and mini fridge. The bathroom was big and really nice. The pool was nice. The hot tub was deep but tiny. You could probably fit 6 people comfortably, but while we were there, only a few other people were in it, so it was roomy enough.

Pool opens at 8Am, which is late in my opinion to an early bird. No dining in the property. Without car impossible to get around. Lily pond full of frogs, making terrible noise all night, my room was next to the pond. Keep getting annoying phone calls from Wyndham after my stay. Otherwise staff was nice and kind, overall clean room, and pool really nice.

A decent resort. Not enough parking for the number of rooms. On check in I was informed by the check in agent: "You are in the cheapest type of room and I'm pretty sure none of those rooms have working AC." From this I infer that Club Wyndham does not consider it economic to maintain working AC in its less expensive rooms. Seriously Wyndham get your act together!

2 bedroom was very spacious plenty of room for a family. full kitchen, dining room and a living room. and also had washer dryer. loved the view,swimming pool was awesome the hot tub was my favorite! will definitely be back.

Awesome place, great friendly staff. Jacuzzi too small, two bedroom unit very large!

Everything was great except for the roaches. The sprayed the exterior but with my health condition they couldn’t do inside. I will find somewhere else to stay on our next visit.

The property is dated and most of the windows and sliding glass doors need replacement. There was an initial smell of dampness when we entered the suite, however it either dissipated or we got use to the smell. We had to have the bathroom sprayed for insects/termites as the following morning there were small ant like bodies on a wash cloth left on the edge of the tub and it resembled pepper flakes. The staff however was excellent and they were able to assist us with ant unsatisfactory roadblocks we were up against.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit for 2 nights. The property was decent, clean and affordable. However, we were slighly disappointed with the nearby pool being closed due to maintenance issues and our room being right next to the main highway. Other than that, the unit was spacious and comfy. Would probably try out another property if we ever return to visit.

The property has a lot of small bugs. The front desk said it’s termite and they can’t do anything about it. The small ants like bug is every where. We even found them in the bed. All the appliances are really old. The dish washer and wash dryer are rusted inside. The pool and hot tub is not clean. Full of chloride. Will never book this property again.

2bd/2bath unit was both very spacious and clean. Our unit, 8B, was right on the main intersection, which meant we had a decent amount of road noise, which would have been a bummer if we were staying longer.

The suite itself (35AE) is ground floor and was infested with a variety of bugs everywhere and the room wifi was awful. Wifi - it would randomly work and then cut out completely. The resort staff tried to fix it but then it just kept happening, sadly. Bugs - The patio door window screen had a big gap in it which is where I think a lot of the bugs likely come in. There were so many little bugs all over every surface (wall, bed, counter, our suitcases, landing on us). Cockroach, little gnats and another type of bug I didn't recognize. It was terrible. Even after walking out of the shower I never felt clean in the room. Pros: The resort, location, pool, club house and staff were all wonderful. You can borrow (first come first served) free boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs, coolers which was fantastic for the beach. The staff was really friendly. I wouldn't stay here again because of the actual suite was terrible.

This review is for the unit we stayed in versus the property as a whole as I’m sure other units are better kept since this is an owner based time share facility. The unit we stayed in was clean enough but definitely needs a deep clean as there was dust and debris above all the curtain rods and on the ceiling fans. We ran the ceiling fan all day and came back to debris on the bed as the ceiling fan was directly above the bed. That being said, the staff here is very friendly and accommodating. We got locked out of our unit due to the battery dying in the key pad and they were onsite quickly. The area is nice and quiet and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Love Kauai and love staying in the Princeville area.

We had to toss out several items or keep all food in the refrigerator and off of countertops. * no A/C. There were lots of windows and screen doors for airflow, but even with them open, it was just too warm inside. Much too uncomfortable even to sleep at night. * because you had to leave the doors and windows open for airflow, you could hear the roosters ALL night long, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. While the space was great for our family and the location also great, we would not return to this facility. The no AC, the ants, and the noise made our stay not as enjoyable as we had hoped. When staying in this area again, we will choose a different location.

Great stay! Largest property we’ve ever stayed at. Family of five and had lots of room. Great kitchen to cook in.

Stayed on the ground level in a 2 bedroom with full kitchenette, and washer/dryer. Unit was spacious, and there was also a large lanai area. This property is more of a condo type instead of a hotel. My cons are that there is no AC - Floor fans are available but was only given 1 instead 2 due to limited supply; The floors are not sound proof. We could hear every foot step and movements from the people above us. Not ideal for people who have infants which was the case for us; The pool had outdoor rubbish and bugs - does not appear to be cleaned daily. Other than that, it was a nice and relaxing stay, and convenient to the shopping areas.

The room was tiny, also the air conditioner was not functional and they didnt let us know ahead of time. They also supplied us with 2 towels expecting them to last 5 days for 2 adults.

Morgan at the front desk was simply amazing, very warm, hospitable, and welcoming. I highly recommend The Wyndham.

When I arrived it was after 11pm, there was no people at registration desk. The security guard drives around to check people in. But he was grumpy. He gave me the keys and told me to find my room. This property has independent buildings all over the place and in the dark, in the rain, I had to find my own room. I thought that was not cool. The security guard should at least lead me to my room.

I didn’t care for the staff I was on a trip with my granddaughter they called me constantly.My room and cell phone every day sometimes twice daily

Upon check-in, Gwen helped us get situated. She was an absolute pleasure to not only deal with, but to speak to. She was polite, courteous, and very helpful. If I have to make a complaint, the living room window did have a leak so we got to enjoy a little rainfall/waterfall while watching TV

Our room exceeded our expectations! It wasn’t ready when we got there but they were nice and kept our bags so we could start exploring. They gave us wine and chocolates for the inconvenience. I was so impressed by this gesture. We would recommend this place! 10/10

Comfortable suite, great pool, wonderful location. Appreciated information about farmers markets and activities ( where to rent SUP’s or surfboards). And the reminder to book our visit to Ha’ena state park early. Well equipped kitchen, and we loved the spacious lanai on our 2 nd floor suite. The staff were attentive and helpful. Really appreciated the text messages with info before and during our visit! We will definitely return. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation.

I think this was probably the best customer service I have ever received in a hotel. Any request was followed with a confirmation text. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had some friends that had lost luggage, and Ka 'Eo Kai went out of their way to help. The only negative was, the room I stayed in did not have A/C so the windows were kept open, which meant the roosters which are a problem all over the island were a loud. Other than that the space was luxurious and clean. The beds were comfortable. And... I can't say enough times how courteous and kind the hotel staff is at this resort.

Easy parking. Short walk to beach trail. Short walk to shopping center. Nice clean area. Feels very safe.

The facilities are comfortable and the views are beautiful. In the surrounding areas, there is only one supermarket and it is very expensive; there are few restaurants. In the Club there are no supermarkets nor restaurants,

Our first trip to Kauai, were met with chickens. LOTS of chickens and roosters everywhere on the island. Hilarious, but the locals just sort embrace the absurdity of poultry. These units are older, early 80s, and despite showing their age, have been kept up fairly well. The nice things about these circular units are the generous wraparound decks and multiple sliders -- even in a one bedroom. Never had to run the A/C; between the ceiling fans and the ventilation, the place stayed comfortable during the evening. The square footage is enough so you never feel like you're tripping over luggage (or each other). Pro tip: ask for the top floor unit-- they have the same layout as below, but sport gorgeous 16 foot vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. Pros: - generous space, enough for 2-3 people to be comfortable - wraparound decks with multiple sliders and patio furniture for morning coffee or evening dining - well-appointed kitchen with basic appliances including a blender and toaster - close to Princeville's small village shopping center - good to use as a base for exploring Kauai - frickin' chickens running around Cons: - older property, not as "fancy" as the newer ones (only an issue for those who never leave the resort) - few amenities beyond the usual swimming pools and tennis courts - occasional foot noise from upstairs due to tiled floors - roosters crowing at 4am Overall, Joe Bob and Mrs. Bob give it a "Two Thumbs Up".

The property was close to my favorite parts about my trip. Foodlands, Welina Terrace, Hideaway Beach, and Hanalei. The North shore definitely has the best views on the island.

Good location in the North of Kauai with a lot of activities possible. But it’s difficult to find a parking if you are coming back after 8pm (and it’s not possible to park outside of the property). And the studio we had was really noisy: you really think you are leaving with people next door. They made the strange choice to put an open door between the room and the bathroom, really not convenient when you are going to the toilet…

Property was nice, pool area well kept. Our room was a small studio with no AC, so could of used a bit more space and cooling for sleeping at night. Good beaches nearby. Not too many restaurants in the area so a kitchen is nice.

The property was nice the parking sucked.. No air conditioning and no place to eat which was kind of a disappointment.. But it was close enough to everything else it wasn't a big deal.

The location is awesome but everything close between 5-6pm daily, so a trip to the grocery store is what you’ll need to do. Nice pools, the clubhouse offers so actives, the staff is ultra friendly. There’s not much to say negative about this place. Oh, there’s a washer and dryer in the units, comes in handy dealing with kids. Over an great experience.

Big l, was comfortable and clean. Was noisy, walking loud upstairs could hear other conversations. Was surprised maybe I missed it in the description but no A/C. Had fans wasn’t to uncomfortable. Had a beautiful view. Eat at Happy Talk food was delicious.
