Econo Lodge Harrisburg - Hershey

Our door did not lock so we had to change rooms after settling in. The ice machine did not work and we needed it. I have to check the website but I am pretty sure it was supposed to provide breakfast and there was none. Smell is weed in the building.

Property was dirty and smelled. Would not stay at again. Ever.

We bought 2 rooms for a night. The first room smelled strong of cigarette smoke. My clothes and luggage all smelled like smoke when i got home. It was impossible to sleep because this room was near the stairwell and people were stomping up and down the stairs all night long. People were yelling. The microwave did not work. The second room had a huge crack in the tv and the air conditioner didn't work properly. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Both rooms had dated furniture, bedding, lamps, and decor. We felt very uncomfortable staying here. We didn't feel clean or safe. We will not stay at this hotel ever again. Needs repairs, cleaning, and updating. Very noisy hotel at night. Hallways smelled bad.

We walked in to an unoccupied front desk. After checking in we went to look at our room, the elevator smelled like urine and cigarettes, the hall way carpet was dirty and very old. We opened the room door and looked turned around and took our keys back to the front desk. We told her we weren't going to keep our reservations. This place is a dump!!! Went and found a clean safe room at a near by hotel. Expedia you should take this property off your site.

Not as clean as I would have expected being in the area it’s in. I found multiple bugs in my room, refrigerator was dirty/stank and was not plugged in. To top it off, my linen was never picked up and sent clean stuff.

It was a clean room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was limited, but they did have some food. The price was good for what you got.

The stay started out with the room not being able to be locked. Told us there were not anymore rooms, then moved us to a room with a foul smell, hole in the bathtub, bugs in both rooms, dirty floor, mattresses that were lumpy, dirty walls in bathroom, black mold on doors and walls, flooring did not fit, large gaps in it. The hallways looked like livestock had been living in it. many many places that plate was badly chipped, doors did not fit, cracks in drywall, etc. This place should be closed by the department of health, mold, bugs, filth, etc.

We arrived at 2AM so we were tired and just wanted sleep. We were put on the 4th floor and as soon as we stepped out of the elevator we smelled marijuana. The carpet was filthy and torn. We opened the door and the AC unit was off so it was very hot. I went to turn it on and the grate was rusted and smashed in but it still functioned. The closet door handle was falling off. The desk and bedside table is scratched up and everything is outdated and stained. If I wasn’t desperate for sleep we would’ve left. The bed was comfortable but when I woke up I could see stains all over the sheets and pillows. We had to leave at 5:30AM so we quickly got our stuff together and it was then I noticed bugs crawling on the wall! I will include a picture if I can, of what I believe I’ve identified as a roach!!! Do not stay here! It is disgusting!

The room smelled of old cigarettes. The bathroom floor and door were dirty. One light bulb was out over the bathroom vanity. Lampshade in room was torn. Sticky stuff on nightstand. Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! Couldn’t stay my second night because it was so bad. Front end person was very pleasant. Shower pressure good. It was quiet.

Found some hair on bathroom floor and in sink when we first got there. Everything else seemed clean. Beds unfortunately were very uncomfortable than what we are used to at a hotel.

The hotel is in need of some some refurbishment

There are several things about this facility. Though the linens and towels were clean as well as the bathroom, there were many places on the walls where substances were stained and/or not wiped up. Two light switch fixtures were damaged. One near the hall door would not turn the light on. The light in the bathroom came on several times by itself during the night, shining a bright light into the sleeping area waking me up. I ended up putting towels along the bottom of the door to block the light. The air conditioning unit front cover is about to fall off and the unit itself did not cool the room only made way too much noise. I turned it off completely so I could sleep. The television is analog? Really?? The room rate could easily pay for cable. The furniture could use a complete rehab. The desk chair was all torn up on the surface of the seat and back. It looked like it was pick up off the sidewalk or from the trash. I will not stay here again and will not recommend the facility to anyone. I do not know what the other rooms are like but room 306 was a disaster. I was really tired after a demanding drive and with all the things that were wrong with this room it is a miracle if I got any rest or sleep.

Everything is ok accept that the TV only works for couple channels and the rest not but is was okay

Not pleased. Very expensive for what we experienced. Very outdated. Sheets had hair on them and urine stains. No coffee maker or any ammenities in the room. The television has about 4 channels that does not work half the time. Building is falling apart. For the price of this hotel, they can certainly do better!

Checked into hotel. Smelt like natural gas. Upon getting to room. The floor wasn’t fully put together. A/c unit was disassembled. Toilet was crooked cuz the bathroom door swung into it and had to push door to get past toilet to enter bathroom. Got locked in bathroom as none of the door handles worked. Ended up checking out after 15 mins of being at hotel and went to another

We had to switch from our original room to another one because the sink wouldn’t drain and the fridge didn’t work. Honestly it also had a really weird smell. Then when we got the other room and the AC was ducted taped together, and the tub was also ducted taped and had little holes in the bottom of the tub, looked like cigarette burns on the tub. The bed was so stiff both of our back’s were hurting. The breakfast wasn’t anything great, no sweet and low available and my boyfriend is a diabetic.

Staff is friendly and helpful. For the money it is good.

I kinda got what I paid for. It was a cheap room, but comfortable. Well-worn and could probably use a refurb. The desk chair needs to be replaced, the bathroom doorknob requires repair as well as the toilet seat. Staff was great, check-in went smoothly.

There were only two housekeeping staff for a four floor building. I think they did the best they could but I have a list of issues, including AC and management issues. The two men who seemed to be in charge, didn’t show much interest in helping us meet our needs and kept saying “go ask housekeeping.” I have a list and will be glad to share it with someone if they are interested. We actually tried to move to another hotel but those in the immediate area were full because of a concert. We will not stay at that hotel again, and now have a negative attitude towards Ecolodge in general. For point of reference, we’ve been on a driving trip across America for two and a half months, staying mainly at Best Western, but also at other lower price hotels when needed for location reasons. This Ecolodge was the most disappointing and a big part of that was the attitude of management. And we say that having owned two businesses that depended on good customer relationships.

I am thankful for how kind and generous the staff was.

The front desk clerk once we arrived was very accommodating, pleasant and easy going.

Great service at front desk. Property was booked through booking site and not confirmed with Econo lodge by them. Front desk was great at getting things sorted out and assuring us that things would be worked out.

Customer service was amazing. Location is great as well. Only minor things the place can improve on is TV Channels and a fresh coat of paint.

Disgusting for the price you are paying. You can hear your neighbor. The front desk person is rarely available. 1/10

Stayed here last minute because of early hockey game at twin ponds. It is the cheapest, the 3 other hotels in same vicinity have better amenities. We checked in late and out early. Didn’t have time to enjoy any amentities anyway

It was alright, The whole hotel was nearly empty and they give me a room surrounded by pot smoking loud people.. breakfast was sad with a couple of baggles and baby muffins.. it s ok for a one night stay.

No breakfast. Some travel sites picture a free breakfast listed and pictures of cafe. Booked on your site since cheaper but your site does not list or picture breakfast. Got there and do not offer breakfast and they know that still shows from when they did. Would not do anything to compensete. Told have to live with it, not their problem.
