The location was my favorite aspect. right next to airport loop trail. The grounds are beautiful with a great view of Thunder Mountain. Phillipe and staff are great. Hottub was unavailable, however. This was main drawback, as it was a key search criteria for us.

The grounds are very pretty with places to sit and relax. Nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast Was also good. Even though no restaurant on premise the front desk will make cocktails for you.

My husband and I booked a last-minute babymoon this February at A Sunset Chateau and had a phenomenal stay. We stayed in a suite with kitchenette and Mountain View and we both agreed that the accommodations were the best we’ve experienced in our travels. The decor in our room was well-curated, thoughtful and even a little kooky which we loved. All the character but also all the modern amenities: a rare combination! It’s rare to find such a well-appointed suite. The included breakfasts were delicious and the dining room also had a lovely view. Before we arrived, Elizabeth from the main desk was very helpful in booking back-to-back massages for us in our room for our last day (mine was a prenatal massage) and the massage therapist, Iva, was excellent and so sweet. A perfect was to end our trip! Thank you for such a lovely stay - we hope to return someday!

Our room was lovely and well-appointed. The view was spectacular. Breakfast was great. We were looking forward to using the hot tub but the unmaintained pool that was green with algae next to it made the hot tub area uninviting.

What a beautiful view from our balcony. The sunrise and sunset views are amazing. It’s far enough from the main road that you do not hear the traffic very much at all. The property is well landscaped and beautiful to walk around. Nice pool area and the fire table is really nice.

Wonderful B&B. Small, basic stocked kitchen. Room was spacious and clean. Grounds and restaurant are decorated with great ambiance. Salt water hot tub was great as well. View and sunset from patio was amazing!

pool deck needs to be a cool deck, one could easily burn their feet, and it would be nice to have access to coffee earlier than 8 a.m., maybe 630 or 7a.m. some of the light bulbs burned out and central cooling very noisy in our unit. otherwise wonderful ambiance.

We absolutely loved our stay at A Sunset Chateau. The room was spacious and spotless, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and peaceful, and the view from the property was truly breathtaking — one of the best in Sedona. But the real standout was the breakfast. I had a breakfast burrito that may have been the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had at an inn, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Everything about our experience was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Very peaceful stay, easy to get around Sedona from the location. Only issue and it was very minor. The gate to the suite was broken. Overall it was a great value suite was clean and we had zero problems getting around from the hotel

This property was OKAY but not for the amount charged. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and overall condition of the suite — the furniture and overall condition was tired/lacking upkeep. I was so disappointed as I stayed 2 other places in Sedona for this extended trip and was most excited about this stay but it turned out to be the worst of the 3 stays during this trip (a motel in uptown Sedona which was 1/3 the price was much better than this place. If you are able to get a suite here for $200/night (maybe $250/night at high time) it will probably suffice but anything more than that is not worth it. There are many better places in Sedona for much less than this property.

The property is away from the main road by about a mile. The area is very quiet and so are the rooms. My room was clean and had a refrigerator and electric cooktop. So you can cook if you want. Several very good restaurants were not far away and the property provided a quick list of popular places to eat. The view from the main entrance is beautiful. The property is open and not like a hotel so some outdoor walking is needed to get to the front desk and eating area. The breakfast which is included, varies daily with regards to their special of the day. It's not a buffet, the staff takes your order and brings the food to your table. They were very nice and accomodating. The food was more than satisfying. The front desk staff were very helpful and always answered my questions. Only thing was my parking spot was at the end and it was very angled/ sloped and it was very difficult to get in and out of my car. To get to my room I had to carry my luggage down several steps, walk through a passage, and then climb up several steps again to the level of my room. The rooms are nicely decorated in typical southwest style. Otherwise, it was a relaxing experience.

They really did a great job at this place. Unlike hotel chains, they cleaned every morning. We were never out of soap, towels and other necessities. The bed was very comfortable and the ceiling fans help distribute the air conditioned air. The view from the entrance porch was awesome.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience. Room was so clean and nicely decorated with a gorgeous view. Location was close to all and the breakfast was home cooked. Will definitely recommend.

What an amazing B&B to stay at! Loved how peaceful and quaint it felt staying here. We did have a mountain view which was beautiful - was a bit hard to see with the bushes in front of our room. The rooms are like small apartments - small living room with fireplace and couch, kitchenette with stove, microwave and refrigerator and all kitchen utensils/plate ware/cups. Our room had a jet tub which was nice. Bed was the MOST comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Parking is free (right in front of your room). Breakfast served daily - wish they had more variety as would get monotonous if stayed for more than 3-4 days - but they have your basics eggs, cereal, bread. They do not have lunch or dinner but there are plenty of restaurants in the area. This property is right off route 89A which is one of Sedona's main roads where you can get almost anywhere from here. You can also walk to the main strip - probably about 15 minutes. Definitely need a car to get around. I like how the B&B sent us an email a few days prior to let us know a bit more about the property and what to bring and expect - was a nice welcome gesture. Owner comes around in the morning during breakfast time to check in and talk with the guests which was also nice. Would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel was faultless with respect to ‘as advertised’. The suite we stayed in had absolutely everything we could ever need, including a full kitchen that was exceptionally well stocked with thoughtful items such as replacement trash bags, dishwashing tablets, ample toiletries in the bathrooms and more than enough sockets for all our needs. The addition of an excellent full washer and dryer was a huge bonus. The view from the very spacious and comfortable balcony was both unbeatable and jaw dropping. The only issue we experienced was the first morning at breakfast, from unhappy serving staff who were borderline rude. We chose to eat elsewhere on subsequent days due to this, but it may have been an off day for them or they may just have been overly busy. Overall, this is a beautifully maintained and exceptionally well stocked and well run hotel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality place to stay in the area.

The room was lovely and we selected a bedroom/livingroom/kitchenette with a view. The view from the livingroom was spectacular, showing the best of the Red Rocks across the entire horizon. The bed was comfortable, and the art and furnishings were nice. The entire property was decorated in a Spanish colonial/Mexican style which added to the ambience. A lovely fireplace in the livingroom really added a special touch. A few small items came to my attention... the bathroom and the bedroom had no separation, and the toilet room was very tight. It had no door handle which made opening and closing the pocket sliding door a bit of a challenge for me. The breakfast was okay, but did not meet the same quality as the look and feel of the property. The breakfast room was overcrowded each morning, to the point where you couldn't walk between tables. On the second morning, I got egg shells in my scrambled eggs. Not a terrible sin, but it doesn't leave you feeling like you are being pampered. The garden area outside was super charming. Sculpture, plantings, terra cotta pots, walkways and trellises dotted the grounds. The concrete "couches" near the firepit were made a bit more comfy with cushions. Overall I would recommend a stay, but maybe just one night instead of multiple nights.

The property was very beautiful and our room very nicely appointed. The views from the property was amazing. The breakfast was very good as was the overall service. The only issue was that the mattress was so soft (lacked support) that neither of us was able to get a good night sleep.

The property was very beautiful and our room very nicely appointed. The views from the property was amazing. The breakfast was very good as was the overall service. The only issue was that the mattress was so soft (lacked support) that neither of us was able to get a good night sleep.

Overall I would come back however I wouldn't book the same room. Pros: very convient with quick access to grocery store, pharmacy and 89A. Firepit area was nice. We didn't try the pool. View from our room was great. Staff was very nice and accomodating. Cons: our room was literally on top of the kitchen. We live on the east coast so were up early but would have been bummed if we wanted to sleep in. Furishings were also a bit tired. Not a big deal as we weren't there to sit in the room but just a total disclosure statement.

The suites were large and comfortable. Most had wonderful views of the red rock mountains. The complementary breakfasts were original and outstanding. There was good value for the price. The only negative is the decorations were somewhat overdone and a bit excessive. But all in all, a great place!

Super nice hotel but staff not very friendly and bfast is only from 8 to 9.30 in a hiking town is way too late and only lasting one and a half hrs. They do not have waters for sale not a vending machine on sight you have to go to the main road to get anything.

The hotel was faultless with respect to ‘as advertised’. The suite we stayed in had absolutely everything we could ever need, including a full kitchen that was exceptionally well stocked with thoughtful items such as replacement trash bags, dishwashing tablets, ample toiletries in the bathrooms and more than enough sockets for all our needs. The addition of an excellent full washer and dryer was a huge bonus. The view from the very spacious and comfortable balcony was both unbeatable and jaw dropping. The only issue we experienced was the first morning at breakfast, from unhappy serving staff who were borderline rude. We chose to eat elsewhere on subsequent days due to this, but it may have been an off day for them or they may just have been overly busy. Overall, this is a beautifully maintained and exceptionally well stocked and well run hotel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality place to stay in the area.

Absolutely one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. Had two nights at Sunset Chateau. Staff is amazing, check in so easy, grounds are so beautiful and view of Red Rocks outstanding from room 21. Staff helped us with dinner reservations and what they recommended was perfect. If we are ever in Sedona area again we will be staying here again. The best place to stay in Sedona.

My husband and I booked a last-minute babymoon this February at A Sunset Chateau and had a phenomenal stay. We stayed in a suite with kitchenette and Mountain View and we both agreed that the accommodations were the best we’ve experienced in our travels. The decor in our room was well-curated, thoughtful and even a little kooky which we loved. All the character but also all the modern amenities: a rare combination! It’s rare to find such a well-appointed suite. The included breakfasts were delicious and the dining room also had a lovely view. Before we arrived, Elizabeth from the main desk was very helpful in booking back-to-back massages for us in our room for our last day (mine was a prenatal massage) and the massage therapist, Iva, was excellent and so sweet. A perfect was to end our trip! Thank you for such a lovely stay - we hope to return someday!

We frequently visit Sedona and were excited to try this establishment. Upon checking in we were greeted by a very nice and professional gentleman at the front desk. He advised us our room was not quite ready but offered us a drink and a key to the pool where we could relax until our room was ready. Once our room became available the staff stopped by the pool and advised us our room was ready. We proceeded to head to the room and accessed our room with the key that was provided to us. Walked in to the room and were very pleased with the layout. 30 minutes later the owner of the establishment stops by and condescendingly states “ I was looking for you, you never checked in”. We advised him we were provided keys by the front desk. This is where we became truly disappointed with the situation. Rather than discussing the misunderstanding the owner of this establishment continues with the accusations and states “no, you didn’t”. I advised him “ the front desk provided us this key”. Once again he states “no he didn’t, you’re not checked in”. I once again kindly stated “here is the key we were provided”. And again He states “no”. At this point we simply told him not a problem, we will follow you and process anything we are needing”.

We rented this location because of the pictures, location and previous reviews. We actually did not know it was a bed and breakfast style property and we were pleasantly surprised! The staff was extremely warm and welcoming and they sent us infromational emails before our stay to help us prepare for our vacation. There are some amazing views of the red rocks from the property. We highly recommend A Sunset Chateau for a quiet and relaxing stay with nicely deocrated rooms.

After reading many reviews of higher rated accommodations, Sunset Chateau seemed to have the lowest percentage of lousy reviews so we Dey to give them a try. 3 nites and it was wonderful! Made our stay in Sedona truly special from the views from # 5 out our front window, the beautiful art - everywhere inside and out, to the delicious breakfasts and the very friendly staff. Clean and well maintained… we can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

The property is away from the main road by about a mile. The area is very quiet and so are the rooms. My room was clean and had a refrigerator and electric cooktop. So you can cook if you want. Several very good restaurants were not far away and the property provided a quick list of popular places to eat. The view from the main entrance is beautiful. The property is open and not like a hotel so some outdoor walking is needed to get to the front desk and eating area. The breakfast which is included, varies daily with regards to their special of the day. It's not a buffet, the staff takes your order and brings the food to your table. They were very nice and accomodating. The food was more than satisfying. The front desk staff were very helpful and always answered my questions. Only thing was my parking spot was at the end and it was very angled/ sloped and it was very difficult to get in and out of my car. To get to my room I had to carry my luggage down several steps, walk through a passage, and then climb up several steps again to the level of my room. The rooms are nicely decorated in typical southwest style. Otherwise, it was a relaxing experience.

This place was fantastic. The room/apt was large and had a useable kitchen. U can see the red rocks from the balcany. The bed was great and room was nicely decorated. The best part was the incredible breakfasts. Definitely great place to stay in Sedona!!

The property is exquisitely landscaped and every employee I met was personable, helpful and kind. The porches allowed for neighbors to chat if desired. I would highly recommend a stay at this peaceful bed and breakfast! Oh! The breakfasts were unique, gluten friendly and yummy!

The decorations in the suite we had were fantastic. The property is in a wonderful position and overall all is well kept. The only little complain (as I read from others) is that breakfast starts late (8). Given that we visited in July, with temperatures in the 90-100, this did not allow an early start.

Beautiful view! They breakfast is not your normal hotel breakfast! It is made fresh! They do serve it 8-9:30am I believe, so if you get up early to hike you may miss it. But clean place, rooms had all you need and were clean! Would stay here again if I have the opportunity to come back to Sedona.

We booked it for 2 nights but we left after the first night. We didn't get any refund for the second night, the manager did not even listen to my complaints followed by suggestions.
