One night solo stay there while passing through town. I love these somewhat rural motels with your motorcycle right outside the door. And the property is well-lighted and huge. Very pleasant woman in the office, clean spacious room, with an actual 3-cup coffee pot. Bonus: a plastic card with all the TV channels, something that very few of the big chains provide. I had a wonderful stay, thank you, Sky View, I will be back.

Loved the location. Close but not in the dells. 2nd time staying here and just as nice as the 1st time. Great green space for our dog and staff was friendly and gave us great advice for stargazing! Quiet and relaxing. Will be back next year!

The owner/manager team are very friendly and the outside grounds are clean and well kept. The room was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave which came in handy, there is a picnic area with grills and a sitting area outside of the room.

The property totes as pet friendly but will not allow pet in room in a kennel while I had surgery across the street. Was not stated in their bio. Had no ironing board or hair dryer. Sheets on the beds had pilling and felt like sleeping on sand. Clerk was not friendly at all. Would not recommend staying here as a family. Really is a limited facility.

We needed a pet friendly stay for the night, we had been here years ago for a wedding in the area. It is a small motel, quaint, quiet and clean. A lot of lawn area front and back for the dogs to roam with us. Close to Baraboo, Wisconsin Dells and Sauk City.

We only spent one night on our way to Illinois from Wisconsin. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner was also very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. We would definitely stay again when traveling, especially at the reasonable price!

I was very impressed. I fly a jet out of the small airport at Sauk Prairie. Had a very early morning flight. I live 2 hour drive away. I was pleasantly surprised at the nice room. Everything seemed new. Quiet. Peaceful and slept well. Comfortable pillows and nice bathroom. Highly recommend this motel.

Room was very dark - only 2 dim lamps between the beds, and a dim hanging light which took awhile to even find its in-the-cord switch. Coffee stirers were not wraped sanitary - only laying on a tray. No breakfast of any kind. Basically overpriced for the amenities offered.

The room was extremely dark; and it was too hot to open the blinds. The owners were okay, but not very friendly. Seeing them walking around and saying 'hi', they would ignore you.

DO NOT stay here! From the moment we checked in the manager was rude (when asking a clarifying question he turned aggressive) and then within ten minutes of being there we witnessed him harassing and threatening another guest twice. At this point I requested a refund as we were only there 10 minutes and I felt very unsafe and threatened by this man. He refused to provide a refund, we ended up booking at Madison Marriott West, which the staff is fabulous, they welcome dogs with no question, it's way nicer and cheaper! The owner can deny this review but we have a police report to prove the events that happened.

Room was very dark - only 2 dim lamps between the beds, and a dim hanging light which took awhile to even find its in-the-cord switch. Coffee stirers were not wraped sanitary - only laying on a tray. No breakfast of any kind. Basically overpriced for the amenities offered.

I loved the fact that there was a fridge, FREEZER, and microwave. There's also a coffee pot with a bag of grounds if you wish! Free Wi-Fi and actual TV channels to watch without charge.

Really nice quiet and quaint place to stay. Still uses actual room keys, that’s how quaint it is!! New upgraded room, comfortable bed and large room. Highly recommend staying here.

Room was clean. Nice area to walk our dog. Only problem was the bathroom light would go off after awhile with no movement. It went off twice while in the shower.

Super clean room. Comfortable beds. Only issues were the air conditioner was blowing directly onto the beds and there was no real water pressure in the shower. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

Room was clean and comfortable but a bit Spartan. Shower, AC, refrigerator, microwave worked fine. Lighting was depressingly dim and inadequate. Wi-Fi was worse than inadequate, painfully slow and kept cutting out. I stayed 3 nights but the fourth night I had a zoom meeting so I bailed and moved to a different motel down the road.

Beds weren't the most comfortable and bathroom amenities were minimal, but easy to get more on request. Staff was friendly, price was great. A great place to stay for a few days to explore the Sauk Prairie area. Very clean and QUIET. Centrally located to many attractions within 30 minutes. If you're looking for luxury or onsite family activities, not for you, but if you want a quiet, clean, affordable motel with a frig and microwave and reasonable access to multiple attractions would definitely recommend.
