We spent 2 nights at this accommodation in July. I second the information given in other reviews. The breakfasts are excellent. Choice of 9 or 10 different cereals, juice, toast, tea, coffee and then choice of full English breakfast items. Extremely good. The owner is friendly and helpful. His mother (sorry I have forgotten both their names) is interesting to chat to. The room had an abundance of electrical sockets and usb plugs. Bridlington was clean and tidy. Location of accommodation is very good. Parking is on street but a short walk into town. We would definitely recommend and would return again if in the area.

This property is now very dated and needs a complete overhaul. There is no reception area only a hallway of unmarked doors so you have no idea of where to go. We wasn’t told where the bar or the dining room was located either, your are basically handed your room key and some milk, then left to sort yourself out. I would not recommend staying here unless you like this sort of property.

This not as advertised limited time for breakfast. botom of one bed had no lats to support the matress .about 30 fleas in shower tray .very noisy when inconsiderate peaple come in at 12.30 am and put tv on .pulled the handle on one drawer and handle came of .absolutely no parking. And the place its self seams very tired.would not recommend.

On arrival place looked a tip, no parking as suggested only where you can fit on main road, pictures of rooms must have been taken 25years ago....avoid, room was awful out dated, dust, spiders, bird crap on windows, place was filthiest i have every been too. I would like to know how we get money back. Its not as though we could look for anywhere else as places were booked up

The advert for the hotel said no pets, as soon asyou put your head through the door ypu were met with a dog smell, their own. The carpets could do with a good clean. The woodwork in the bedroom and bathroom were covered in paint splashes The bar / dining room could do with a good clean.

Amazing breakfast probably best you’ll get. Property is decent but a bit old school. Free parking bang outside too.

When I first got there I thought wot the heck it was a mess smelt like dog and the owner come out looking like a slob and didn't even know wot he was doing and I asked about the bar but he said we ain't bothering with it this year so that was faults advertise and yes the breakfast was all in with it but I couldn't bring my self too have it as the smell was making me feel sick and the fridge well no point having one as it didn't make anything cold, best thing about it was the shower. But the own needs too start acting like a owner instead of a lazy git

Outside of the property looks rundown and dirty ,just as the rest parking is a no go you may be street or two away never seen to be parked in same place twice , it the same even in other b&b's check first . Our hosts great room clean breakfast anything iv'e never seen so many cereal boxes and a full English well i hope your hunger can match it great ,i would re- book i'm used to area a break can be as good as you make it why moan at this and that enjoy .

It smelt as you enter, owner very unclean wires hanging out everywhere we ended up in the attic even though we was the only people in hotel. Shower cubicle unclean, side cabinets stained wardrobe covered in dust. Breakfast bug in the juice cups sticky plates for toast had to go back to room to re shower.

Room was average cleanliness was the worst ive ever stayed at really put me off eating breakfast there

This property is not as advertised on expida. The owner was filthy on arrival I personally have over 70 bed bugs bites. The owner and whole places stunk. We did not have the included breakfast as felt unclean and smelled.

We visited this property (a child, 2 elders in their 80's and I) in late October and as in other reviews we were greeted by a dishevelled man. To our horror in the evening we found BEDBUGS crawling over the beds - google confirmed they were bed bugs and we photographed and filmed them. The Manager was defensive and lacked any empathy. He refused to admit the issue or to offer any kind of help or offer any solution. It meant having to uproot elders to try to find alternative accommodation late at night. He said I hadn't paid when I asked for a refund and REFUSED A REFUND - so we are out of pocket by £181. I WOULD ADVISE CAUTION - don't risk staying there

The property wasn't very clean didn't have breakfast all in all would not recommend this hotel, not a 65 pound a night hotel ,friends we know walked out ,not like the photos on the website.

property looks well from outside, soon as you walk through the door u get a dog scent the dog is lovely tho! not very helpful to find rooms just got given a key with a number, bed was really comfortable, bathroom and some of the walls wasn’t very presentable to customers couldn’t see through the only window in the bedroom because of the condensation, didn’t want to use the shower the time we was there due to the un cleanliness, had breakfast the one morning and didn’t want too have it again as made my partners stomach poorly and soasages where bright pink! this is not a review to drag the hotel down this is my honest opinion! (we stayed in room 9)

Horrendous i have requested a full refund bed bugs

The hotel smells vile they have a dog and it smells of urine throughout the hotel wires dangling all over ceiling really needs a good reverb

For a start off there was nobody to greet us and the hallway smelt like dog wee when someone did come they said I could have any room I wanted but I paid for a twin room and the room was far too hot even if you did try to turn down the heat from room it didn’t work also the room smelt funny to the bathroom sink was gross and you had to go through the person own private living room to go for breakfast which we didn’t feel like doing I wouldn’t recommend this place and the only reason we stayed is there was no where else in Bridlington to stay I am never going to use this place again when we handed the keys when we left the bloke who ran the place looked dirty like he hadn’t put a clean shirt on

The location was really good, beds were comfy and clean but a bit of a refurb is needed. It was our first time in Yorkshire, when we arrived we weren't greeted with a hello, we were asked 'what name' and given a key and some milk. Other reviews mentioned the communal areas being dirty, the carpet was worn as you'd expect but it was fine. We discovered check out times and breakfast times from posters as you go up the stairs. The beds were clean and comfy, room a good size and the frige and microwave were helpful, bathroom was also a good size and we had plenty of towels. Some attention detail is missing, 1 of the bedside lamps was absolutely filthy, like a previous guest had touched it whilst eating a greasy kebab or something. The soap dispenser was empty, we didn't feel able to approach the owner so we just went and bought some soap from the corner shop. Unfortunately for breakfast you have to go through the owners living room. We weren't told this upon check in, we just followed our noses. The lady running breakfast is very nice and was working hard, im unsure how they make any profit with the highest portions of breakfast they serve. Unfortunately it wasn't great and a lot of food was wasted. It had a bit of a dirty taste to it and we did wonder the state of the kitchen maybe. Molly the dog was lovely, but it is a bit off putting seeing a dog and a dirty living room when you're eating, it felt like eating in a strangers home- which I guess you are. Overall 3*, just

Property was dated but room was big enough with good kettle and shower. Provided breakfast which was good for cereals (loads) and help yourself to toast that was great. Ordered cooked breakfast was not keen on the scrambled eggs and black pudding but was worth what we paid .

The room and beds were clean. The shower was dirty so we didn’t use it. There was a boiler outlet from somewhere just outside the bedroom window and we could smell the fumes. We didn’t want to open the window because of this. It was so warm. The fridge was reasonably clean but the microwave had old food stuck in the top.

Great service from friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable, shower was hot and powerful which is sometimes missing in hotels, overall a lovely place to stay

On the whole not too bad for the price. The facilities in the room were good with a nice big TV and a small fridge and microwave. I thought it was a nice touch to give guests a small bottle of fresh milk on arrival. Also plenty of tea bags and coffee. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. My only quibble was the window blinds didnt close properly as there were 2 pieces missing.

I don’t no why I’ve seen poor reviews as Dave really try’s hard to make your stay great.. the position of the B&B is great and Central, it’s homely not fancy but we paid very little to stay here and had a huge quality breakfast. We would definitely stay again, don’t pay very little and expect 4/5 star.

Excellent choices for breakfast,very friendly staff jenny and David go out of their way to help you,nice size room not far to beach and shops 5***** very big full English breakfast 100%all round.

Very nice staff

On arrival host did not say hello or introduce themselves. Left me without saying anything in a hallway where on a shelf had a file with signing in loose sheets of paper. Had to put name,address,telephone number and email address. In the file where other peoples details where. Nothing was confidential. Snabby decor, smelly, exposed cables hanging from ceiling in corridor in disrepair throughout. I got shown how to open the front door and that was the total conversation over a two night stay. Not shown where dining area was for breakfast or fire escape route. Although I had breakfast included, I could smell it been cooked two floors up in my room and the aroma of all the fried food put me off eating there.

A great welcome from a wonderful family run hotel. We stayed in room 12 the 4 of us in a family room. Shower was good & the room ample, the beds comfy, linen fresh & clean. The breakfast is AMAZING !!! Very close to the seafront. The hosts are lovely people & Molly the dog is soft & friendly. Thanks for a great stay! We will be returning again soon! 👍👍

Absolutely shocking. The place looks tired and needs a bloody good clean. The guy literally chucked the key at us as he was on a zoom call. Dark, dirty carpets throughout and the whole experience was horrible. First few days away with my stepdaughter and it was very much a let down sadly

Excellent place to stay, great location, not far from the main town of Bridlington, loved the breakfast was very nice and tasty. came for the race the waves always come to Bridlington and always enjoy the place, also paid for 3 nights, but paid another night. enjoyable trip will come back again soon. ignore other people's reviews because we stayed an extra night and David was nice and polite and very courteous, and very friendly.

I stay here all the time. It is my go to place in Bridlington, because it is like coming home at the end of the evening and I feel like a member of the family. I cannot pretend it is luxury but if you aren't after 5 star it's great. Right by the sea and the theatre, a few restaurants close by and a 5 or 10 minute walk to the town. Breakfast is huge and I famously have never finished one. This place may not be to everybodys tastes, but I love it and them, especially Gus the dog.

Well worth the price. We had a lovely two night stay as visiting Bridlington Spa for a UB40 gig. Breakfast was included and trust me, if you want a breakfast to set you up for a day exploring, the breakfast is Huge. Host and staff we met were lovely and friendly. Its clear there are some improvments being made to the place, but overall and for the price we paid it is perfect. Its perfect location is set just round the corner of everything you could possibly need.

Easy to find and check in. Room was pleasant, bed comfortable with lovely shower in the en-suite. Breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of cereals and huge cooked breakfast with lots of options. The location is excellent for the south shore and the Spa (event centre), which are both a short walk away. If we go back to Bridlington we will definitely stay here again.
