Castle Bromwich Hall Hotel, BW Signature Collection by Best Western

It's not perfect but has bags of character and is more than just an ordinary hotel. Staff were helpful and breakfast was great. Plenty of parking and a great place, highly recommend.

Always a good place to stay

Excellent really great stay

The breakfast was fresh, but unfortunately not as hot as it could have been. Also, the coffee pot disappeared very quickly when there were still 6 people in the dining room. The room was pretty, the bed comfortable, and the shower and toiletries lovely. I was in the Coach House. We ate off the menu the night before and the chicken was so delicious. The grounds of the hotel are so beautiful. There's a small maze too. Totally recommend this hotel. Would happily stay there again. We were attending a conference at the NEC Birmingham, and it was just about 12 minutes drive away.

The building looks great and was the primary reason to book. After that the review takes a downward turn. We were put in an annexe. I guess not too much of an issue but there was no undercover way off getting to the main hotel and guess we are in the UK so it rained. The room itself was ok apart from burnt marks on the carpet and lights that dont work. The bathroom space was tiny and awkward. But the worst bit was the placement of the towel rail and it being hotter than hell. Yes there was a small sign saying very hot but there was no need for it. After we got burnt by the damn thing, we saw we could turn down the heat. Why have it on the hottest setting!?!? The shower was underpowered. Next was breakfast. Lots of staff milling around like ants doing nothing productive. Luke warm, rubbery cooked breakfast, cheap watery juices, cold coffee. Toaster that you have to pop up yourself (the number of people having burnt toast was unbelievable). Barriers on next were not automatic and you had to ring to get out (why?). Sorry just wasnt impressed at all.
