The Norfolk Hotel was in an ideal location. Excellent Thai & Portuguese cafes very nearby. Rather dated & popular with the older person! Bingo was popular!

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful Service for breakfast and dinner was very good. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Spacious room. Easy 10-15 minute walk from St Helier bus station. (Bus stop right outside front door - I didn't use but goes to bus station for other connections.) The hotel is quite dated in decor and facilities. Our bathroom contained high sided bath with shower in - ok if you are physically able to get into it. Also there wasn't a blind on the bathroom window which meant it was very hot due to the sun blasting in through it for most of the day. No modcons like Aircon - just windows and the hope of a breeze when the weather is very warm. The breakfast and dinner are simple, limited variety. However the food we had was very good.

Close to town, friendly staff, clean and comfy room. The breakfast was nice but the cooked breakfast was not self- service. Around the hotel there were plenty of seating areas. Some form of entertainment was held each evening. Although there was a lift to the upper floors, there were however a lot of stairs. The adjoining wall was paper thin or we just had a very loud neighbour.

Clean,friendly reception staff but hotel dated, clearly aimed at older generation. Breakfast -buffet very basic, no catering for dietary needs, had to request non dairy milk several times. Slow service at breakfast & both continental & cooked options were disappointing. Tea & coffee in room, no shower gels/shampoo/had to purchase if required. Wouldn’t use again.

Difficult to find the right adjective, quirky,pleasant friendly comfortable, close to town centre. Has lots of short flights of stairs if that's a problem. Overall a charming hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights, first time in jersey and so glad we chose this hotel. My parents are elderly and in a wheelchair, the staff accommodated our every need including low floor with walk in shower in the room. Full breakfast included which was brilliant, great choice, swift service in restaurant and staff brilliant too. You can also book a 3 course evening meal at the hotel. Entertainment nightly to suit all, lovely bar and lounge, again the staff in there were great! A special mention to Brian who was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgable, nothing was too much trouble, especially after we’d checked out and our flight then cancelled, A quick call back to the hotel and Brian found us another room for the night, he literally saved the day! Would absolutely recommend this hotel!!! Thankyou all there.

Nice hotel with simple rooms, well located for those who will be using the excellent public transportation system to get around. Very nice breakfast was included. You have to leave your room key with the front desk when you go out, which I thought was a bit weird, but otherwise ok.

It’s a good hotel some of the room facilities are pretty basic. It is dated in areas having said that for a short stay it is good value and well positioned to visit Sy Helier easily walking

The hotel has a great location being very close to the centre where the shops and restaurants are locate. The hotel beds were comfortable and the room very clean. The staff goes out of their way to make the stay pleasant. I would stay here again when I am in Jersey.

We had a wonderful stay at Norfolk Hotel! It was very clean and cozy and the staff were very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend it and plan to stay there again for our next visit to St Helier.

Very nice hotel, nice room but every time the toilet was flushed it made a horrendous noise until the system filled up and the room had the smallest tv I've ever seen in a hotel plus hardly any of the channels worked apart from those a very nice hotel

Overall a great stay. Hotel is situated in a great location. Decor in rooms are dated, but the cleanliness and the staff make up for this. Would recommend as a good base to explore the Island.

A special mention to Brian who was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgable, nothing was too much trouble, especially after we’d checked out and our flight then cancelled, A quick call back to the hotel and Brian found us another room for the night, he literally saved the day! Would absolutely recommend this hotel!!! Thankyou all there.
We stayed for 4 nights, first time in jersey and so glad we chose this hotel. My parents are elderly and in a wheelchair, the staff accommodated our every need including low floor with walk in shower in the room. Full breakfast included which was brilliant, great choice, swift service in restaurant and staff brilliant too. You can also book a 3 course evening meal at the hotel. Entertainment nightly to suit all, lovely bar and lounge, again the staff in there were great! Rooms were a little bit tired. Shower was not the best, very slow and difficult to adjust. Staff were fantastic, very welcoming.

Asked for porridge at breakfast however the chef refused to make it because I did not order the day before. I arrived about 8pm the day before and was not advised on check-in about any requirement to pre-order any breakfast items. Also when having breakfast with my work colleague,

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful Service for breakfast and dinner was very good. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Spacious room. Easy 10-15 minute walk from St Helier bus station. (Bus stop right outside front door - I didn't use but goes to bus station for other connections.) The hotel is quite dated in decor and facilities. Our bathroom contained high sided bath with shower in - ok if you are physically able to get into it. Also there wasn't a blind on the bathroom window which meant it was very hot due to the sun blasting in through it for most of the day. No modcons like Aircon - just windows and the hope of a breeze when the weather is very warm. The breakfast and dinner are simple, limited variety. However the food we had was very good.

It’s a good hotel some of the room facilities are pretty basic. It is dated in areas having said that for a short stay it is good value and well positioned to visit Sy Helier easily walking

Close to town, friendly staff, clean and comfy room. The breakfast was nice but the cooked breakfast was not self- service. Around the hotel there were plenty of seating areas. Some form of entertainment was held each evening. Although there was a lift to the upper floors, there were however a lot of stairs. The adjoining wall was paper thin or we just had a very loud neighbour.

Clean,friendly reception staff but hotel dated, clearly aimed at older generation. Breakfast -buffet very basic, no catering for dietary needs, had to request non dairy milk several times. Slow service at breakfast & both continental & cooked options were disappointing. Tea & coffee in room, no shower gels/shampoo/had to purchase if required. Wouldn’t use again.

Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and the rooms were immaculate. However, the hotel was a bit dated and would benefit from a bit of a refurb. The pool area was a good size with plenty sunbeds but a bit unkempt with weeds around the paving however it didnt stop us spending most of the day there once or twice. We enjoyed our stay and was good

Not great customer service, the evening receptionist said an early bowl of cereal would be fine, but the morning receptionist made it very clear that getting some milk from the kitchen was a troublesome chore for him. Hotel was very dated, and room was hot with no aircon.

Generally a very positive experience. The staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable but the room a little dated. Everywhere was clean. Breakfast was a little disappointing on the first day but did improve.
