Check in was a breeze, the lady at the front desk was super nice. She told me about the morning breakfast, the Wi-Fi password and how to find my room without me even having to ask. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. It also included a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. Also included was shampoo, conditioner, and hand and body soap. It is located near a fairly busy street but was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it highly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff were great. There was lots of smoking outside the rooms. The parking was a problem. Crowded and I couldn’t park in front of my room. Mos importantly it was clean. The noise was a deal breaker for me. I’ll spend the extra money and stay elsewhere next time.

Whenever i travel through Puyallup this is where i stay. Its the best value out of any hotel/motel ive ever stayed at. The building is a little run down, but the rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly. Plus the wifi is actually useable (something ive discovered isnt always the case). Ill def be back the next time im in the area.

This motel is very retro. The floor in our room was filthy, but we didn't realize how dirty it was until I made the mistake of wearing white socks. There was a huge friendly spider in the shower, and the water goes from hot to warm every few seconds. There is almost no water pressure in the shower. Two of the staff were very rude, and there was a reality show playing on the TV in the lobby with during breakfast. When I went to check out, two staff members were busy discussing Dave Chappelle and completely ignored me.

What i didnt like was lack of seating for breakfast. We didn’t even eat because there was so little room. Finally started outting tp in the garbage because 2 flushes were required to get rid of it. Toilet acted like it was going to overflow. Plastic matress protectors woke me every time I moved. Bathtub faucet dripped There were bugs on my bed and in the bathroom. I killed half a dozen. If id not driven so far and was so tired, i would have asked for my money to be refunded and gone somewhere else. I will say that the gal at the desk was sweet and accommodating when i requested groung floor instead of upstairs. Thank you for that. Im sorry to say, i will never stay again and never recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed to spend my money for what we had to deal with.

This is the third time we've stayed at this motel. The room was cozy and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only suggestion for a more comfortable stay would be to bring your own pillow, or for the motel to invest in more supportive pillows.

Esta propiedad esta llena de chinches, tuve que salir en 2 horas que estuve alli, me picaron y revise y estaba la cama con chinches y no me quisieron devolver mi dinero, experiencia terrible. The room was clean but on the small side. There were no eating establishments within walking distance; you had to drive. A major medical center was close by, and ambulance sirens sounded all through the night. I set an alarm for 0600, and the phone did not ring until 0700. For the low price, I received the value I expected. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful.

The floor in my room wasn’t level. Basically had to push real hard on the door to close from the inside. The deadbolt didn’t work. Closing the door from the outside you had to slam it shut and pull on it hard to close properly. You could feel the springs in the bed and it wasn’t comfortable to sleep on.

I just needed a place to sleep for the night and it provided that and no more, I would not have wanted to stay there more than one night. The room was clean but small and needed updating. The woman in the office was professional and business like but not very friendly.

Room was quite small and a bit dark. Was clean with no odors. A block from a hospital, so frequent sirens heard. Excellent location for the concert we attended at the WA state fair. Able to walk back to motel after concert (1/2 mi at most) and felt safe. Simple snacks available for breakfast.

They booked the room git a message that we needed to add the service dog tried to do that they said it would be changed. Drove from oregon to check in and was refused the room because of a service dog. Would not recomend this place at all. Would not give me a room.

Stay was as to be expected at the value. However they tried to charge more than was quoted by Expedia. They fixed the pricing to reflect what was quoted originally but just something to be mindful of.

Rented 2 rooms for a week in the girls room the housekeeping staff came in the room while our friend was showering they were told to leave but instead they argued and threatened to call the police if she didn't get out of the shower it was horrifying for my friend they really wanted to clean the room though and after everything they did clean the room even after they were told no thank you. the owner was there backing there play it was really crazy If I didn't witness it I wouldn't believe t

When entering facility desk clerk took 15 minutes before she waited on us due to being on phone with customer. When finally in room, TV didn’t work, clerk tried to fix & informed us she couldn’t give us another room without talking to mgr. She waited on 3 other customers before trying to resolve our issues. Asked for refund, due to treatment. First time in our travels in 50 years being treated so poorly.

Very close and convenient if you need to get to the Washington State Fairgrounds, we were volunteering there. Nice and clean, pillows were great. Staff is wonderful. Highly recommend and would stay there again!

Very close and convenient if you need to get to the Washington State Fairgrounds, we were volunteering there. Nice and clean, pillows were great. Staff is wonderful. Highly recommend and would stay there again!

Room was quite small and a bit dark. Was clean with no odors. A block from a hospital, so frequent sirens heard. Excellent location for the concert we attended at the WA state fair. Able to walk back to motel after concert (1/2 mi at most) and felt safe. Simple snacks available for breakfast.

Pros: The staff were amazing. The cleanliness of the room was great. The convenience of the location was a plus. Cons: The breakfast provided was spoiled and stale. The Expedia price ($93) and the Motel price ($113) were not the same. When mentioned this to the staff, they explained Expedia was to blame because they buy too many rooms and advertise for the price before checking with the motel owner to see if there is a vacancy. If this is the case, why punish the customer? The property could have used more lighting outside. It was very dark. The motel room although slightly updated (flooring), the rest was very outdated. The term 'you could slap lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig' comes to mind. We would stay again, but only as a last resort.

Absolutely lovely front room staff my son and I arrived after midnight and the young woman so helpful and accommodating. All the ladies who helped us so friendly. Delicious breakfast to go as well with yogurt and juice and cereals available. Housekeeping left darling little touches to welcome us and the room itself so clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

Perfect location if you are going to the Puyallup Fair. Simple clean room. Obviously shows some age but look as though they were renovated. Breakfast was a disappointment & only had some fresh fruit left.

It was clean which is very important. It had tv, microwave and fridge which is good. The snacks for breakfast were not much. The road was very busy and the HVAC was very loud. The bed was comfortable.

This property is very convenient to the fair grounds. The beds are comfortable and the room clean. For the price and convenience I would stay here again. The staff was also friendly and helpful with providing a hair dryer. Breakfast in individually wrapped portions was perfect and right on time at 6:00am.

This is an old property. But it is clean and completely adequate. It is in a decent state of repair. The room was small but it offered everything we wanted. We wanted something simple and within walking distance to the state fairgrounds, both of which Motel Puyallup is. Had we wanted all sorts of extras we could have stayed at another hotel (for considerably more money) just across Meridian from the Motel Puyallup but why? Our destination was the state fair and all we wanted was a clean room, good bed, and a shower. That we got a good price.

Room may not have been filthy, but wasn't really clean either. Crusty "stuff" in lights above bath sink. Room just quickly brushed up, not cleaned. Breakfast wasn't ready at 7:30 as advertised. They were just starting to get things out at 7:40 and there were people waiting ahead of us. We just left. Management seemed quite disorganized. Tried to call and find out what time the office might close for checking in and got a answering machine at 6pm, so had to drop what we were doing to go check-in. Not very impressed overall.
