Really nice room, recently refurbished. Everything was nice, particularly appreciated the controllable radiator having come from a place that was cold. Could've done with an extra pillow, only 1 provided each. The pub was really top class in a pretty village centre and was a CAMRA winner with great range of ales and warm comforting food and log burners.

Sehr tolles Pub. Saubere und ruhige Unterkunft. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren wirklich sehr lecker. Ein Parkplatz war nicht wirklich frei als wir angekommen sind, da einige Personen im Pub vor Ort waren, aber man sich hier einfach hinstellen, da sagt keiner was, man findet seinen Platz. Ich kann es nur empfehlen! Danke für die Gastfreundlichkeit.

The room was a great size, very clean and well presented, cosy without being cluttered. Our friendly dog was equally welcomed. The breakfasts were delicious and we also ate there a couple of times in the evening and it was excellent. Overall a great stay in a cosy country pub.

First impressions set the trend including a welcoming staff member. Room was modern, well finished and spotless with a pleasant view of the surrounding hillside. Could n't fault the food or service. We had a lovely couple of days away at the Durant Arms.everything was mainly positive, and it is a quaint old pub in a lovely quiet village. However, for us the bed was extremely firm, which is a personal choice which we are not used to. We enjoyed the food, except for the crust of the pie I had on the first night was rock haed.

The breakfasts were delicious and we also ate there a couple of times in the evening and it was excellent. Overall a great stay in a cosy country pub.

Lovely stay at the charming Durant Arms. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and everything run smoothly even though the owners were apparently away. The room was a great size, very clean and well presented, cosy without being cluttered. Our friendly dog was equally welcomed. The breakfasts were delicious and we also ate there a couple of times in the evening and it was excellent. Overall a great stay in a cosy country pub.

Lovely village pub setting. Our room was both clean and well appointed. We really enjoyed dinner and breakfast during our stay. A very pleasant night away, definitely recommended.

Really nice room, recently refurbished. Everything was nice, particularly appreciated the controllable radiator having come from a place that was cold. Could've done with an extra pillow, only 1 provided each. The pub was really top class in a pretty village centre and was a CAMRA winner with great range of ales and warm comforting food and log burners.

Sehr tolles Pub. Saubere und ruhige Unterkunft. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren wirklich sehr lecker. Ein Parkplatz war nicht wirklich frei als wir angekommen sind, da einige Personen im Pub vor Ort waren, aber man sich hier einfach hinstellen, da sagt keiner was, man findet seinen Platz. Ich kann es nur empfehlen! Danke für die Gastfreundlichkeit.

Booked room 2 which had plenty of space-king size and single bed! Really nice bathroom. Breakfast good. Lovely lady Jan who looked after us and we had plenty of laughs. Evening meal spot on-there was a lot of options. Try it here-you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar was great and there was a nice lively atmosphere. Our room was spacious and well appointed with a nice bathroom. The downside was that although we stayed for five nights our room wasn't serviced once during our stay. The breakfast was fine if you enjoy a cooked breakfast but there was little choice otherwise. There was cereal and juice but no fruit at all or yoghurts.
