Loved this place. Staff was the nicest staff I’ve ever had at a hotel and the place was super cute and unique. Had a very tropical vibe to it and I would definitely stay here again if I visit the area again. Only issue is no elevator but the staff was happy to carry our bags up to our rooms and back down when we checked out so it wasn’t a big deal. Wonderful place to stay!

Too expensive for what it offers. There is nothing special to charge such a high rate. The location is good, but the beach service such as the umbrella and chair are not included in such high rate, and it is not clearly stated anywhere. Breakfast is included, but you need to pay extra for a fresh orange juice when you are paying a rate of more than U$300/night. Not reasonable. The highlight is the service at the hotel bar, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The service at the front desk not the best, specially when the guy is the one talking to you. I forgot the name. The location is good, but you absolutely need a car since it is isolated from everything.

We are repeat guests of this place. We love it and we love the staff, Barbara , Sergei, Giovanni, Antonio , the chef , the housekeepers and the rest of the crew. They are all so kind and helpful and very service minded. The food is top notch, and they serve their own wine and olive oil from their own gardens. The outside gym is one of our favorite parts of this place. It’s a beautiful hotel with elegant decoration and the location is unbeatable. The owners are so kind and they really care about their guests. We will be back many times for many more years to come.

Jättefint rum med härlig utsikt från balkongen mysig lite trädgård med pool. Vänlig och serviceminded personal. Frukosten var utmärkt och intogs i trädgården. Enda minus är att det kostade mellan 20-40 euro att använda hotelllets solstolar på stranden, det hade kunnat bakats in i hotellets rumspriser.

We had an excellent 6 night stay at this great seafront hotel. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful, with special mention for the restaurant staff who were most welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay and had good air conditioning with a comfortable (firm) bed. The beach is tranquil with white sand and crystal clear waters. Hotel has its own private section with sun beds included at no extra charge if you are on half board. A full range of choices at buffet breakfast with attentive staff providing fresh coffee/tea. Evening meals were a delight, especially if you enjoy seafood, with new options included each day. The friendly waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive and can say we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Hotel is in a quiet location and is the ideal place for a relaxing break by the sea. Town centre is walkable in 12-15 minutes and has a good selection of bars and restaurants. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and look forward to returning for another stay in the future.

I have seen on social media and reviews of this hotel that state that the staff were miserable and that none of them spoke English and tended to be very standoffish. What I found here was that the staff were exceptional and very eager to please all of the staff spoke English and understood everything. They were very helpful with information on the area and places to eat. The restaurant here was exceptional and very high-quality. The beach area attached to this hotel was also very friendly and the beach was very clean and the water was crystal clear . The hotel itself was clean and was decorated with a mixture of African and Thai furniture. The service here was impeccable and representative of service of the olden days where customer is King and all that you needed was carried out immediately. Please note that this area of Sardinia is quieter than the north they’re all no ancient villages to wander around, but it’s perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday. I would recommend it to anyone..

We have just returned from a 14-night half-board holiday at the luxurious Hotel Simius Playa and had an absolutely lovely, relaxing holiday. The location is excellent, next to a beautiful private sandy beach. The hotel was very charismatic and is the epitome of my perception of old Sardinian charm. It is very impressive and kept impeccably clean at all times. Our suite was very nicely furnished with an excellent view of the sea from our balcony and was kept pristinely clean by housekeeping. The quality and variation of food in the restaurant for breakfast was excellent and the à la carte menu in the evening was exceptional. All of the hotel staff was excellent, very friendly, professional, helpful, cheerful and always with a smile on their faces. We’d like to add a special huge thank you to all of the restaurant staff, especially Antonino, Enrico, Aimane and Simone for making our dining experience “perfetto”. We met a number of guests, who have been returning to Hotel Simius Playa for over 20 years and can understand why. We will return.

Pleasant staff, delicious food. Parking available, beach is very close. Beach is well looked after. The only downside was the cleaning on the day we did not have coffee pods and hair conditioner replenished. But overall stunning hotel.

We spent 4 days half board at the hotel Simius playa in mid September. We enjoyed our stay in particular the fabulous beach with turquoises water and great evening meals, with lots of choice. We had a superior double room with a sea view and small terrace which was a good size and very clean, water pressure in shower was great. The staff at the hotel were lovely, in particular the maitre d, Thomas and the tall waiter (apologies forgot his name) Cons It’s a quiet area with not much activity going on apart from shops and restaurants up in the town. We got a local bus from Cagliari arst bus station, right beside the train station to villasimius and this was fairly straightforward however the return journey was not as there was an unexpected bus strike, waiting 2 hours discover no bus for another 4 hours. Taxi was required. Cost of taxis is extortionate. Recommendation rent a car. The views along the coast road are spectacular.

C'est un très bel hôtel et idéalement situé au bord d'une belle plage. Nous y sommes restés 3 nuits (du 7 au 10 mai 2023). Nous avons eu un souci avec le climatiseur de la chambre qui ne marchait pas, nous l'avons signalé à l'hôtel mais la direction n'a rien fait (aucune proposition de changement de chambre par exemple ou de réparation de la climatisation). Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre et nous avons très mal dormis.

The property is located right on the beach and so convenient. Sirius Playa offers very good breakfast and dinner options. The rooms are comfortable but try to get one with a beach view. Cocktails are special especially the Sirius Spritz - super unique and delicious. It is a short drive away from Cagliari and easy to get too.

By far the best breakfast we ever had in any hotel/resort ever. The beach is stunning and pristine water. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very helpful in any ways. Our room had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, what was amazing having two little kids. We got this balcony with view to the pool and beach and we could actually enjoy the singer/performer show from there while our kids were already sleeping. Even the toiletries were amazing, what I usually don’t care since I take my own with me. I will be back for sure and I highly recommend this hotel.

Loved this place. Staff was the nicest staff I’ve ever had at a hotel and the place was super cute and unique. Had a very tropical vibe to it and I would definitely stay here again if I visit the area again. Only issue is no elevator but the staff was happy to carry our bags up to our rooms and back down when we checked out so it wasn’t a big deal. Wonderful place to stay!

I have seen on social media and reviews of this hotel that state that the staff were miserable and that none of them spoke English and tended to be very standoffish. What I found here was that the staff were exceptional and very eager to please all of the staff spoke English and understood everything. They were very helpful with information on the area and places to eat. The restaurant here was exceptional and very high-quality. The beach area attached to this hotel was also very friendly and the beach was very clean and the water was crystal clear . The hotel itself was clean and was decorated with a mixture of African and Thai furniture. The service here was impeccable and representative of service of the olden days where customer is King and all that you needed was carried out immediately. Please note that this area of Sardinia is quieter than the north they’re all no ancient villages to wander around, but it’s perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday. I would recommend it to anyone..

The friendly waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive and can say we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Hotel is in a quiet location and is the ideal place for a relaxing break by the sea. Town centre is walkable in 12-15 minutes and has a good selection of bars and restaurants. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and look forward to returning for another stay in the future.

We spent 4 days half board at the hotel Simius playa in mid September. We enjoyed our stay in particular the fabulous beach with turquoises water and great evening meals, with lots of choice. We had a superior double room with a sea view and small terrace which was a good size and very clean, water pressure in shower was great. The staff at the hotel were lovely, in particular the maitre d, Thomas and the tall waiter (apologies forgot his name) Cons It’s a quiet area with not much activity going on apart from shops and restaurants up in the town. We got a local bus from Cagliari arst bus station, right beside the train station to villasimius and this was fairly straightforward however the return journey was not as there was an unexpected bus strike, waiting 2 hours discover no bus for another 4 hours. Taxi was required. Cost of taxis is extortionate. Recommendation rent a car. The views along the coast road are spectacular.

El hotel es precioso, las habitaciones cómodas e impecables, teníamos una vista hermosa hacia el mar, la atención del personal excelente, fueron muy amables y colaboradores en todo momento, en los restaurantes y el bar de playa del hotel se come riquísimo y se pueden tomar tragos muy buenos, el acceso y la ubicación inmejorable, está en una de las playas más hermosas del sur de Cerdeña, desde allí caminando por la playa puedes ir a otras dos que también son muy bonitas, la verdad pasamos días preciosos y los recomendamos 1000%!

We have just returned from a 14-night half-board holiday at the luxurious Hotel Simius Playa and had an absolutely lovely, relaxing holiday. The location is excellent, next to a beautiful private sandy beach. The hotel was very charismatic and is the epitome of my perception of old Sardinian charm. It is very impressive and kept impeccably clean at all times. Our suite was very nicely furnished with an excellent view of the sea from our balcony and was kept pristinely clean by housekeeping. The quality and variation of food in the restaurant for breakfast was excellent and the à la carte menu in the evening was exceptional. All of the hotel staff was excellent, very friendly, professional, helpful, cheerful and always with a smile on their faces. We’d like to add a special huge thank you to all of the restaurant staff, especially Antonino, Enrico, Aimane and Simone for making our dining experience “perfetto”. We met a number of guests, who have been returning to Hotel Simius Playa for over 20 years and can understand why. We will return.

The property is located right on the beach and so convenient. Sirius Playa offers very good breakfast and dinner options. The rooms are comfortable but try to get one with a beach view. Cocktails are special especially the Sirius Spritz - super unique and delicious. It is a short drive away from Cagliari and easy to get too.

Loved this hotel! Beautiful beach, helpful staff, clean rooms, lush surroundings, and a nice breakfast. We had an excellent dinner at the hotel too! We hope to come back here.

By far the best breakfast we ever had in any hotel/resort ever. The beach is stunning and pristine water. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very helpful in any ways. Our room had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, what was amazing having two little kids. We got this balcony with view to the pool and beach and we could actually enjoy the singer/performer show from there while our kids were already sleeping. Even the toiletries were amazing, what I usually don’t care since I take my own with me. I will be back for sure and I highly recommend this hotel.

We had an excellent 6 night stay at this great seafront hotel. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful, with special mention for the restaurant staff who were most welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay and had good air conditioning with a comfortable (firm) bed. The beach is tranquil with white sand and crystal clear waters. Hotel has its own private section with sun beds included at no extra charge if you are on half board. A full range of choices at buffet breakfast with attentive staff providing fresh coffee/tea. Evening meals were a delight, especially if you enjoy seafood, with new options included each day. The friendly waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive and can say we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Hotel is in a quiet location and is the ideal place for a relaxing break by the sea. Town centre is walkable in 12-15 minutes and has a good selection of bars and restaurants. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and look forward to returning for another stay in the future.

In general a nice hotel. Rooms a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Note - the pool is closed from 1-4pm daily - I have no idea why but they wont let you use it. Beach loungers are not included and are quite expensive - up to 95 euros per day for 2. I have never paid to use the beach anywhere in the world at a hotel. Maybe it is a Sardinian thing? The beach is beautiful though. And make sure you book for dinner in the restaurant or you may miss out. The food is OK but had better. Breakfast is nice.

Almost everything was perfect, a little gem really! The food was exceptional and the general feel of the hotel was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend the half board option as the options across the 3 courses were great. You also have the added bonus of free sun loungers which are not cheap to rent! The rooms are well laid out and spacious (only slight niggle was the replacement of sundries) but this did not detract from the friendly staff especially Antonio in the restaurant. If you want a relaxing holiday in a great location, away from the hustle and bustle this will fit the bill.
