Location is excellent, right on the waterfront, and close to Diocletians Palace area. Walkable from the TP Line ferry if you arrive from the islands (other ferries are a bit farther away). No cars allowed in that area, so if you come by car you'll have to drag your bags a little ways. The Rive is flat and easy to navigate with luggage. Location was both a plus (ocean views) and a minus as in our case there was a huge festival on the waterfront, including huge crowds and VERY LOUD music & fireworks which went late each night (and throbbed through the walls even with windows closed and ear plugs in!). We didn't get any extra sleep that's for sure. We made an effort to find restaurants away from the waterfront as there was no getting into anything along there. Front desk staff were helpful. Breakfast was made-to-order and good. They made us to-go sandwiches for our early morning departure to the airport on our last day.
