We were warmly greeted at the front desk then shown to our “room” in the adjoining building. The room was actually an entire small former 100+ year old Catholic chapel which had been moved from another spot in town some 30 years ago. The space had an enclosed bedroom, a living room with a large tv and an even larger jacuzzi tub!! The tub was nestled next to the stairs that went up to the former choir loft where there was additional seating and two twin beds. Much of the old beautiful dark woodwork was still intact and the space was decorated in era appropriate furnishings and soft goods. The windows are all frosted so no views from this ample space but it’s so lovely a view wasn’t missed.

Friendly, helpful staff (Amanda? Not sure on name, but couldn't ask for better), nice rooms, roomy, clean. Had air conditioning, a big plus since it's been so hot.

Very nice hotel. Walking distance to all attractions. Staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make guest’s stays wonderful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved the heated floors in the bathroom!

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay! Super clean, spacious rooms and a nice breakfast made our over night stay with our guest from the east coast a great experience. On top of that it’s easy access to all the town of Leavenworth shops restaurants and activities! The staff was a cheery and attentive!

Wonderful staff and quaint decor. Rooms are delightful, clean, and well-appointed. Linens and towels were soft. Our room could use a new mattress; it was constantly pulling you into a deep divot, but it made for a good laugh.

Loved the individual duvets and comfortable bed. The room was charmingly decorated with hand painted furniture and window seats. The breakfast buffet made us feel as if we'd returned to Europe, and the knitted chicken cozies for the boiled eggs were adorable. Great staff, very friendly!

Good location for walking in Leavenworth. Nice hotel, just avoid ground level room by the entrance. You can hear the door slamming as other guests go through and you can hear the cars in the parking lot. Nice room but the bed was old and worn, too uncomfortable to sleep. At the rare you pay, i would expectbetter beds.

Staff was amazing check in was easy, and their location is perfect for all the downtown activities. Donna went above and beyond, my partner left her shoes and we were contacted within 30 min of leaving so we had a chance to recover them. I will definitely be staying again

Our flights were canceled so i booked a room with them for 2 nights. I paid about 500 per night, which I somewhat understood as it was last min. But for the price I paid, I expected better service. I only booked for 2 adults and 1 child as it was not giving me options for 4people, so i did 3. When we arrived the lady noticed i had an extra child and proceeded to charge me extra for my child per night, even though i told her i didn't need any extra accommodations, that we were ok, but it didn't matter that i paid about 1000 for my stay she charged extra. Their breakfast was cold ham and cheese. So if you have children i don't think they'll enjoy that option. It was Christmas day and i knew most restaurants would be closed, so I asked if i may use their kitchen to cook a warm meal for my children, i was going to buy all ingredients from salt to oil and a pan. I was not allowed, and was told i could use microwave. So my kids and I ended up eating hot pockets and top Ramen as our Christmas dinner. Our holiday didn't go as planned as our first time Disney trip got canceled due to flight cancelations, and I thought Leavenworth would be the better option for my kids and I to spend Christmas, but this hotel left a bitter experience.

Excellent facility. Staff went above being helpful and were always willing to assist in anyway they could. Breakfast was Just like a German hotel....lots of options and very creative. Highly recommend!

The property is absolutely gorgeous and the location is so close to everything. Donna and Erika were so helpful with local eating recommendations. For those who grew up with a German heritage, you will find the breakfast authentic and memory provoking. Wunderbar!! Look forward to our future return and telling all our friends and family about the Hotel Pension Anna.

Beautiful and cozy. It feels like you staying in a nice, comfy home. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It’s in the heart of Leavenworth and all the shops and great places to eat are just right down the street or within walking distance. Highly recommend if you like that home away from home feeling.

Amazing staff and impeccably clean. The morning breakfast was really nice and included a hard boiled egg cooked to your liking. Felt like being in Europe.

Our flights were canceled so i booked a room with them for 2 nights. I paid about 500 per night, which I somewhat understood as it was last min. But for the price I paid, I expected better service. I only booked for 2 adults and 1 child as it was not giving me options for 4people, so i did 3. When we arrived the lady noticed i had an extra child and proceeded to charge me extra for my child per night, even though i told her i didn't need any extra accommodations, that we were ok, but it didn't matter that i paid about 1000 for my stay she charged extra. Their breakfast was cold ham and cheese. So if you have children i don't think they'll enjoy that option. It was Christmas day and i knew most restaurants would be closed, so I asked if i may use their kitchen to cook a warm meal for my children, i was going to buy all ingredients from salt to oil and a pan. I was not allowed, and was told i could use microwave. So my kids and I ended up eating hot pockets and top Ramen as our Christmas dinner. Our holiday didn't go as planned as our first time Disney trip got canceled due to flight cancelations, and I thought Leavenworth would be the better option for my kids and I to spend Christmas, but this hotel left a bitter experience.

Excellent facility. Staff went above being helpful and were always willing to assist in anyway they could. Breakfast was Just like a German hotel....lots of options and very creative. Highly recommend!

Friends insisted we try , and walking into the lobby felt like stepping off a train in Garmisch. It's been family-run since 1989, and the 16 rooms are filled with Bavarian furnishings imported from Austria and Germany, not the usual tourist kitsch. Having lived in Germany for several years, we caught ourselves slipping into German at the front desk out of habit. We didn't meet the owners, but Donna at reception took wonderful care of us from early check-in through checkout. Warm, efficient, and genuinely glad we were there. Breakfast sold us. It's served in a wood-paneled room and it's a proper German spread: cold cuts, cheeses, fresh breads, and eggs boiled to order, just like a good pension in Bavaria. We came in a Toyota Tundra crew cab with a 6.5-foot bed and the private lot made parking effortless, with room to spare. Location is almost unfair. Icicle Brewery is about 50 feet across the alley. Blewitt Brewery is about 260 feet across Commercial Street, and downtown shops and restaurants are a flat five-minute walk. The hotel sits one block off the main drag, so you get the convenience without the late-night noise. Quiet at night, central by day, and the most authentic German feel we've found in town. We'll be back.
