I stayed at Zunfthaus zur Rebleuten for 4 nights in July/ August 2024. The hotel is in the Old Town about 10 minutes walk from the station. Be aware that there is no lift, so not suitable for disabled guests. My room (a basic double) was small but adequate, although if there had been 2 people, one would have to be careful getting out of bed because of the sloping ceiling. For breakfast, you are given 6plate of meat and cheese, and help yourself to cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice and delicious Swiss bread. There's a kettle on the top corridor for guests to make tea and coffee. You are allowed to drive to the hotel to unload your luggage, and on departure to load up. Ask the staff about parking - they directed me to the COOP carpark, and sold me a ticket for the barrier when I left, which was CHF12 a night. The regular price was CHF30. The Chur card which you are emailed when you check in online gets free admission to most of the local museums, so allow tine to visit a few of them. It also gives free public transport in the central zone, but I found that everything was within walking distance.

I took a Glacier Express from Brig to Chor and this was a last minute decision to book hotel in the old city and it was GREAT! Hotel was an easy walk from the train station, and Ian at the front desk was very accomodating. The restaurant at the hotel was top noch and I made reservation for dinner that night and really enjoyed my meal and presentation. Next morning I had a nice breakfast on the terrace, walked to the bell tower and church and took a train back...

This is a wonderful old building nicely redone inside. It has historic features and is in a historic square/neighborhood that is very cozy. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. The bathroom is dated and a bit tight but clean, nice hot shower. There's coffee and tea in the corridor common area. The breakfast is with kind and friendly service. Walkable to train station and very safe. The overnight does not have a front desk - you have to get in with a code and a lockbox for your room key. No elevator. Felt like an authentic but modernized place, very lovely. Bed is a little low to ground, in case that's an issue for you.

The Zunthaus Zür Rebleuton hotel is a classic. We had a small room in the eaves, but it was affordable and comfortable - however we had a lot of stairs to climb with our luggage. There is no lift. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Smoking is allowed in the bar, so we did not spend time there. We did enjoy a bottle of wine and some snacks we brought in personally in the small lounge next to the restaurant. Thank you to the manager on duty to let us have that space to ourselves for a bit. Great location!

Nice hotel in the Altstadt of Chur. Difficult to get to if you didn’t know that you had to drive through the narrow, pedestrian streets of the Altstadt. Have to walk to parking down the street or across the river.

Perfect little gasthaus in Old Chur. Very easy and safe 6 min walk from train station. Hotel is a gem, perfectly clean and comfortable, in a great location, and historic atmosphere! Please note there are no lifts (as clearly advertised) if this is an issue for you. I found the stairs no problem. Breakfast was delicious. Also had dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing. Highly recommend if you want an experience that’s not a chain hotel.

Fantastic hotel in a great location in old town Chur. Staff were very friendly and welcomed us on arrival, checked that we had everything we needed. Room was good, with some nice little touches. Ours was with the shared bathroom, which was no issue. It was kept very clean and was great to use, I’d have no problem staying here again.

Das Hotel Zunfthaus zur Rebleuten in der Altstadt von Chur ist ein schönes, sauberes Hotel. Es existieren Etagenduschen, sowie eine Etagentoilette. Alles sehr sauber. Das Petsonal ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Gerne werde ich dieses Hotel wieder einmal buchen, wenn ich in der Umgebung bin. Ich kann es mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Clean, organised and convenient. The hotel may look like an older property, but the room and toilet was extremely clean, exceeding my expectations. The hosts were also organised and efficient with my check-in, sending instructions before arrival. The location is extremely convenient, walking distance to restaurants and attractions. I was also able to walk (10 mins) to the main train station with my luggage for the Bernina Express.

Pictures online are deceiving. Very small rooms and bathroom. Smelled of cigarettes. Room didn’t have any water to drink. Handheld shower came off the wall. The mattress was nearly on the ground and the pillows too soft. Great location.

Just stayed the night in order to take the Bernina Express train the next morning, but overall very cute hotel. They were very helpful, breakfast was lovely the next morning, even though we were a little rushed to get the train. The room was cozy, had what we needed, I'm not a fan of carpet in hotels, so I would say it could be updated a bit, but overall nice stay.

Leider hatten wir übersehen. dass das Hotel keinen Aufzug hat. Bei der Ankunft mussten wir das Koffertragen allein bewältigen, es war Ruhetag im Hotel/Restaurant. Nach dem Auschecken wurde uns Hilfe auf einer der unteren Treppen angeboten. Wir waren in einem winzigen Zimmer im 4.Stock untergebracht. Unter der steilen Dachschräge zu liegen, verursachte bei uns allen Platzangst. Im angrenzenden Bad konnte sich höchstens eine Person bewegen. Das Frühstück fanden wir mittelmäßig. Es gab eine Brotsorte (allerdings frisch), und es lagen immer nur ein paar Äpfel im Korb, kein anderes frisches Obst. Dieses Hotel ist eher ein Hostel, weniger ein Hotel. Eine Frage an expedia: Warum musste ich dafür zusätzlich dafür bezahlen, dass ich bei expedia gebucht habe?
Leider hatten wir übersehen. dass das Hotel keinen Aufzug hat. Bei der Ankunft mussten wir das Koffertragen allein bewältigen, es war Ruhetag im Hotel/Restaurant. Nach dem Auschecken wurde uns Hilfe auf einer der unteren Treppen angeboten. Wir waren in einem winzigen Zimmer im 4.Stock untergebracht. Unter der steilen Dachschräge zu liegen, verursachte bei uns allen Platzangst. Im angrenzenden Bad konnte sich höchstens eine Person bewegen. Das Frühstück fanden wir mittelmäßig. Es gab eine Brotsorte (allerdings frisch), und es lagen immer nur ein paar Äpfel im Korb, kein anderes frisches Obst. Dieses Hotel ist eher ein Hostel, weniger ein Hotel. Eine Frage an expedia: Warum musste ich dafür zusätzlich dafür bezahlen, dass ich bei expedia gebucht habe?

Pictures online are deceiving. Very small rooms and bathroom. Smelled of cigarettes. Room didn’t have any water to drink. Handheld shower came off the wall. The mattress was nearly on the ground and the pillows too soft. Great location.

We loved Old Chur, and the Hotel Zunfthaus is perfectly located in the old city. While we very much appreciated the ancient character of the building, the furnishings were a bit TOO shabby and the bathroom so tiny we could barely fit in it. But the host was friendly and helpful and the breakfast good. All in all I would much rather walk up 4 floors to stay in this well worn establishment than use an elevator and have a larger room and bathroom in a shiny new plasticky place.

The Zunthaus Zür Rebleuton hotel is a classic. We had a small room in the eaves, but it was affordable and comfortable - however we had a lot of stairs to climb with our luggage. There is no lift. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Smoking is allowed in the bar, so we did not spend time there. We did enjoy a bottle of wine and some snacks we brought in personally in the small lounge next to the restaurant. Thank you to the manager on duty to let us have that space to ourselves for a bit. Great location!

If you’re on a budget this hotel is great. Easy self check in. Rooms are very small, only 2 power plugs in the room so hard to charge two phones and running a fan at the same time. No air conditioning, breakfast was basic. Excellent location.

I liked that the property was old, it was surrounded by other old buildings. Staff were very helpful, they carried our bag to our room which was on the second floor. One of the disadvantages of an old building is there is no elevator. I would have liked having a hot water kettle in the room.

We arrived mid afternoon on a day that the hotel staff are not in attendance. We missed an email sent with instructions on how to enter the hotel (we do not check emails regularly when we are on vacation) and so had no way of getting into the hotel. So we hung around in the street outside with our suitcases until another guest came out and we were able to get in. Then we had no idea of how to check in until by luck I saw an envelope with our name on it and a room key inside. So, not a good start. But things got better. Our room was full of character. It was small, but that's OK in a hotel as old as this one. The view over the rooftops of old town was lovely. The location is excellent - in the heart of Old Town Chur and walkable from the rail station. We didn't see anyone at the hotel until breakfast the next morning. But breakfast was fine and ample. Overall, its a charming old hotel in the best part of Chur to stay, but a bit of a ghost hotel without staff!

Great location in the center of town! Beautiful building! Check to see if you will be sharing a bathroom, we didn’t realize it until we arrived. Not a hotel, more like a Hostel. No one to check you in, no elevator, incorrect room number and code to get the key. It was a miserably hot day and so hot in the room so we left and got an air conditioned room across from the train station.

I took a Glacier Express from Brig to Chor and this was a last minute decision to book hotel in the old city and it was GREAT! Hotel was an easy walk from the train station, and the front desk employee was very accomodating. The restaurant at the hotel was top noch and I made reservation for dinner that night and really enjoyed my meal and presentation. Next morning I had a nice breakfast on the terrace, walked to the bell tower and church and took a train back...

Nice hotel in the Altstadt of Chur. Difficult to get to if you didn’t know that you had to drive through the narrow, pedestrian streets of the Altstadt. Have to walk to parking down the street or across the river.

Perfect little gasthaus in Old Chur. Very easy and safe 6 min walk from train station. Hotel is a gem, perfectly clean and comfortable, in a great location, and historic atmosphere! Please note there are no lifts (as clearly advertised) if this is an issue for you. I found the stairs no problem. Breakfast was delicious. Also had dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing. Highly recommend if you want an experience that’s not a chain hotel.

I stayed at Zunfthaus zur Rebleuten for 4 nights in July/ August 2024. The hotel is in the Old Town about 10 minutes walk from the station. Be aware that there is no lift, so not suitable for disabled guests. My room (a basic double) was small but adequate, although if there had been 2 people, one would have to be careful getting out of bed because of the sloping ceiling. For breakfast, you are given 6plate of meat and cheese, and help yourself to cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice and delicious Swiss bread. There's a kettle on the top corridor for guests to make tea and coffee. You are allowed to drive to the hotel to unload your luggage, and on departure to load up. Ask the staff about parking - they directed me to the COOP carpark, and sold me a ticket for the barrier when I left, which was CHF12 a night. The regular price was CHF30. The Chur card which you are emailed when you check in online gets free admission to most of the local museums, so allow tine to visit a few of them. It also gives free public transport in the central zone, but I found that everything was within walking distance.

If you’re on a budget this hotel is great. Easy self check in. Rooms are very small, only 2 power plugs in the room so hard to charge two phones and running a fan at the same time. No air conditioning, breakfast was basic. Excellent location.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at this beautiful hotel. It is in the old town but close to the train station, from where we took the Glacier Express. The property has a lovely charm and the staff are wonderful.

Stayed here with a few friends while backpacking in Switzerland. Staff was very helpful. On my birthday, before checking out of here, the staff made me a small treat. It was delicious.

Just stayed the night in order to take the Bernina Express train the next morning, but overall very cute hotel. They were very helpful, breakfast was lovely the next morning, even though we were a little rushed to get the train. The room was cozy, had what we needed, I'm not a fan of carpet in hotels, so I would say it could be updated a bit, but overall nice stay.

Es war sehr laut. Alles hellhörig. Man muss ohrenstöpsel verwenden, da die Wände aus Pappe sind. Komfort war auch nur so lala. Kann es nicht empfehlen.
