Booked last minute for the half marathon and the staff were so friendly and they let us keep our car there for the race, made the entire day so much easier. No complaints, but our room was missing a lightbulb and the tv remote wasn’t working, but hopefully they can get around to fixing that. Not a big deal though, it was very clean! 🙂

Property is located within feet a M street. Easy walk like mins to beach and main drag. BUT the hotel itself Door to roomb just kinda hanging there, but you could kinda lock it. Placed a chair in front of door, just in case. I don’t like surprise visitors in the middle night. Yes they have parking BUT if you own a truck, Good luck. You are given a spot but all are small. I parked in ???one that my truck fit into and . Well I just left it there and told them this is where I’m leaving it. For the outrageous price of room. You expect at least clean and proper parking. There are so Many other hotels in the area. Don’t Waste your Money here. Carpets (wear shoes or something on your feet) have that like yucky sticky kinda moist thing going on. Pass this place by

The front desk staff were great. The room, unfortunately, was not. Air conditioner was filthy. Could not turn it on until my wife cleaned it. Found some food between the beds behind the nightstand. Bathroom was not good. Toilet didn't flush well. Not very clean. Parking was tough. Not enough spaces for the amount of rooms. Hot tub and pool were okay. Sorry to be so negative, but sometimes the truth hurts. One positive: very good location. Will not return though.

Hot tub poorly setup, the water would spray onto the floor. At an early hour workers were at the exterior of the room causing disruption making sleeping impossible. The outdoor coffee station was never equipped to make coffee. Over all stay was poor. Without the disruption and poor room organizing it would have been a four star experience.

Good amenities, easy walk to beach, close to great restaurants and bars. Lots of bureau space. Outdoor grills on property to cook. Nice hot tub and heated pool. Narrow Stairs are tough climbing up to 3 floors with heavy luggage. Have stayed there at least 5 times over the years. Good value.

The room was clean but the outside is unusable if you are a non smoker. The stairs were scary for people with mobility issues. Close to the beach and eateries. All within walking distance which was good because giving up your parking spot could mean not getting another one.

Very clean! Better comfort and cleanliness than other hotels same or in price range. People seemed to enjoy the pool. I think it's underrated and should get better ratings. Good weekend get away!

Sheets had sand on them when we arrived. Called reception for new ones and was told "I am in bed" and hung up on. Two very young men came to change them finally and only brought the fitted sheet. Started speaking another language and laughing while we were angry and tired. It was frustrating and rude.

There were cob webs in the room, dust on the blinds, the ac was full of dust and where i parked my car, it was parked for less than 24 hours and covered in ashes from cigarettes. Absolutely disgusting!!

The hotel was absolutely unfit for any accommodation for overnight stay and felt life a biohazard. The cupboards were dirty with many dead bugs and dust inside. The bathroom smelled of chemicals and mold, and the smell was so overwhelming that it caused allergies and breathing problems. The smell of other substances are also present and the ceilings were covered with dust and painted in patches. Beyond disappointed at the price too, the price felt like a bait and switch where it costs so much you’re thinking you’re getting value but instead it’s a total sham which is unfit for any traveler.

Beds were comfortable and the furniture updated. It would definitely need an overall refresh and paint job, major work done with the bathroom and a deep overall cleaning. The carpet still holds that cigarette smell from 80´s. The location is unbeatable.

Please consider washing the top bedding and provided two sets of pillows again with fresh pillowcases. Ours had blood on it near the bottom and the office was closed so we were not able to request a new one.

I loved our stay here at Regal Inn. There was no rap music blasting. In fact, it was very peaceful. Neighbors were all pleasant. The inn was clean. It smelled so good when we first opened our door. I don't think I'll ever forget it! It was a nice, nice place to stay, and i think we'd definitely stay here again.

Very convenient, clean. Fairly quiet. Windows were large and coverings didn't quite cover area(edges were exposed and coverings were light. Had child try to look in occasionally from another room.) very disconcerting.

The property needs renovation. Entry door that uses physical key takes 5 tries to unlock door. Bathroom door does not close. Bathroom fixtures are falling off the wall.

We stayed in room 309. The beds were terrible. They are hard with little to no cushion. The sheets are paper thin and not enough for two people to share. The fridge is super small. Don’t bring back any restaurant leftovers. The toilet flush lever has to be held down to get a good flush. The shower water could not be completely shut off. The ac is great. The pool was nice and my kids loved the hot tub. However the whole reason for a beach stay is a good sleep after a long hot day on the beach. Comfortable matresses are a must. I would recommend bringing your own sheets and towels. The shower towels supplied are kid sized. We left Saturday night as none of us slept the night before.

The pictures do not portray the hotel accurately. The doors do not shut right or tightly , the heat and air conditioning system smell like something is burning. Did not spend a lot of time at room. However toilet was difficult to flush and bathroom sink backed up when we ran water. Stairs were difficult for older people trying to manage luggage. On plus side, room had microwave and refrigerator which we did not expect.

The property was just a couple blocks from the beach so it was an easy walk to get to enjoy the sunrise on the beach. There was no elevator so we got to get a little workout getting our bags up to the third floor balcony walk up. The rooms glass doors where covered with wide louvers for privacy, but it seemed that if someone wanted to look in the could have due to the gapping and the angle towards the bed. The room seemed in good repair although the toilet required a determined hold to get it to flush fully. The fridge and microwave made for easy storage and reheating of some leftovers for breakfast. The outdoor pool though open and "heated" was quite chilly but they were going to be closing it for the winter the day after we left so maybe it already had the heater turned off. The hot tub was very nice, but it was right next to the front office desk, presumably to keep it for only guests of the motel. The parking lot was under the motel (it was the first floor primarily.) Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Booked last minute for the half marathon and the staff were so friendly and they let us keep our car there for the race, made the entire day so much easier. No complaints, but our room was missing a lightbulb and the tv remote wasn’t working, but hopefully they can get around to fixing that. Not a big deal though, it was very clean! 🙂

Room was exactly as described, bed was large and comfortable and room was clean. Our first night (~1:30am) there was a group of very loud and obnoxious people on the deck outside our room. We called the front desk and they very quickly sent up security and had the group quiet down and ended up going into their room. The staff then texted me knowing that the issue had been resolved. Very polite staff and handled the situation professionally and swiftly. There is an outside pool is large enough for several parties to be there at the same time and is heated. Regal Inn is a 2-3 minute walk away from the beach and main strip. My girlfriend and I had a great time here.

When we first arrived, there was nobody at the front desk to check us in. We waited about 10 minutes and rang the bell a couple of times, but no one arrived to help. I finally called a phone number listed in the email for “late night check in,” (though it was only 5pm) and a woman answered, who apologized and said she’d get someone right over. She was very friendly, but the man who eventually showed up was not too pleasant. However, after check-in, we were very pleased with our accommodations. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Loved having both a mini-fridge and a microwave, and the mattress was quite comfortable. The AC unit worked well, and the TV had streaming services available. Very short walk to the boardwalk, beach, and numerous restaurants, and the pool was well-maintained. Overall a good experience for the price.

Sheets had sand on them when we arrived. Called reception for new ones and was told "I am in bed" and hung up on. Two very young men came to change them finally and only brought the fitted sheet. Started speaking another language and laughing while we were angry and tired. It was frustrating and rude.

The staff was friendly and good value for the price. The cleaning lady was rude as I asked where to put the wet towels. Her response was put them back in my room. They hadn’t been in to clean and it was on the 3rd day. She put a garbage bag with towels in it on the door handle of my room.

Building needs updating very old, room clean but we paid extra for a room with hot tub in it and there was not enough hot water to fill it and the jets didn’t work well at all. Room service is only after 3 days and it consisted of a trash bag left hanging on the door with a roll of toilet paper a few towels . Room itself was a fire hazard everything plugged into extension cords. Shower had no liner in it . The pool was nice kept clean. No staff on duty at night and no way to contact anyone with any issues. Would never stay here again

The place was great, everyone slept comfortable. Fluffy towels, nice linens. Location was great, 5 min walk to the beach with good restaurants close by. The waves were huge with the hurricane off the coast so it was nice to have the pool as an option too.

Good amenities, easy walk to beach, close to great restaurants and bars. Lots of bureau space. Outdoor grills on property to cook. Nice hot tub and heated pool. Narrow Stairs are tough climbing up to 3 floors with heavy luggage. Have stayed there at least 5 times over the years. Good value.

If was affordable, clean and easy access to the beach, shopping and dining. Only draw back was all the stairs to carry luggage up as an older person.

My partner and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend. The location is great and walkable to all the shops/restaurants and beach! The room was much nicer than anticipated, and the staff was kind and accommodating. We would love to stay again and highly recommend Regal Inn as a great place to stay for a great price.

The property was just a couple blocks from the beach so it was an easy walk to get to enjoy the sunrise on the beach. There was no elevator so we got to get a little workout getting our bags up to the third floor balcony walk up. The rooms glass doors where covered with wide louvers for privacy, but it seemed that if someone wanted to look in the could have due to the gapping and the angle towards the bed. The room seemed in good repair although the toilet required a determined hold to get it to flush fully. The fridge and microwave made for easy storage and reheating of some leftovers for breakfast. The outdoor pool though open and "heated" was quite chilly but they were going to be closing it for the winter the day after we left so maybe it already had the heater turned off. The hot tub was very nice, but it was right next to the front office desk, presumably to keep it for only guests of the motel. The parking lot was under the motel (it was the first floor primarily.) Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Hot tub poorly setup, the water would spray onto the floor. At an early hour workers were at the exterior of the room causing disruption making sleeping impossible. The outdoor coffee station was never equipped to make coffee. Over all stay was poor. Without the disruption and poor room organizing it would have been a four star experience.

Regarding the APARTMENT: Pros: Private bedroom. Plenty of space with 4 beds. Good location for the ocean and downtown. Lots of walking. Mostly working kitchen. Dining table. 2 air conditioners. Privacy. Pool with bathrooms, doesn't really seem heated. Cons: Bathroom on second floor! TVs were useless. No internet! Could have been cleaner, child found garbage under beds. Rotting kitchen cupboards. Assigned parking spot not honored. Street level traffic noise. Kitchen fridge half worked, but staff gave us a mini fridge to use for a day. Thin walls.

The room was very clean the pool was smaller than it looks on the website and hot tub was dirty and a little run down. The staff was excellent but the coffee cups were very small and didn't have any lids. Great location overall it was an average score

Have been going to Hampton Beach since I was a young child. Although it is not a luxury resort, the Regal Inn has consistently maintained clean rooms, the best pool, and the most friendly staff on the beach. Trust me when I say I have stayed at other places and if a friend came to the door/pool to say hi, you would be kicked out. This has never been the case at the Regal Inn. Management works to make your stay enjoyable. Will never stay anywhere else on the beach.
