Encantados del hotel. Todo muy limpio, cama espectacular al igual que las vistas al lago. El personal muy amable. Temperatura perfecta sin necesidad de encender los radiadores. Muy buena localización. Fuente con agua riquísima justo en frente del hotel. Las campanadas de la Iglesia no molestan, con su romanticismo cuando por casualidad las oíamos. Sauna privada bajo reserva. Ibamos en coche, pero la parada de bus junto al hotel y los veíamos pasar con mucha asiduidad. En definitiva: ¡encantados y volveremos a ir!. Agradecidos al universo. :)

The view was incredible. The staff was very friendly and fast. The laundry service was excellent. The water pressure and heat on the shower was the best I've experienced ever. It was advertised as a hotel room, but we got a suite with a kitchen, living room and balcony overlooking Lake Thun. (I don't know that'll always be the case, so call ahead). Sigriswil Panorama bridge is a 2 minute walk from here. The room came with a pass that gave us discounts to local attractions and included free bus fare. I would make a trip back just on account of this amazing hotel.

Wir haben ein wunderbares Wochenende im Bären in Sigriswil verbracht. Es war erfrischend wieder einmal den Charm eines Familienbetriebenen Hotels zu erleben. Vom freundliche Check-in zum Zimmer mit grandioser Aussicht, zum reichhaltigen Frühstück und als Bonus noch die super Sauna. Auch schön war der Check-out um 12Uhr (anstatt der üblichen 11 Uhr) was uns etwas mehr Zeit gab die Sauna zu geniessen. Wir empfehlen den Bären in Sigriswil sehr und würden jederzeit wieder zurückkommen.

Really nothing to do within walking distance aside from the panoramic bridge. Restaurant was nice and open late. Hotel comfortable and clean.

The staff was exceptional! They offered dining at late hours of the evening, which was helpful when we got in late and there weren’t many options in the area. The bus comes right to the hotel and took about 40 minutes with stops to get to Interlaken. We couldn’t get any bikes from the property and there weren’t any bike rental shops in the area so we did have to travel by bus to go on adventures around the area.

주니어 스위트 발코니 룸으로 1박 했습니다. 룸, 거실, 발코니 모두 넓고 좋았습니다. 무엇보다도 뷰가 너무 좋았네요. 무료조식도 좋았고, 시그리스빌 다리도 매우 가까워서 좋습니다. 단점은 겉으로 보기에 매우 깨끗한데 디테일하게 보면 청소 안된 부분이 많습니다. 침대옆 테이블이나 가구들에 먼지가 수북히 쌓여있어서 물티슈로 직접청소했네요. 바로 앞에 위치한 교회에서 수시로 종치는데 시끄러운 단점이 있네요. 귀마개 꼽고 자면 괜찮습니다. 이것 빼고 다른건 좋았습니다. 렌터카 여행을 한다면 이곳에서 1박 하는걸 추천합니다.

The hotel is good and the view is amazing. The only problem is that the room and bedding smell of cigarettes.

The property was nice, but definitely not a 4 star hotel. More like a 3 star. For some reason the first day after we arrived, they didn't clean the room. After we requested for them to clean the room the day after that, they just made the bed, and changed the towels. However, they didn't replenish the soap, nor the toilet paper, nor did they clean the toilet. The property has a lot of potential, but the staff really needs to get their act together.

Older property: musty smell as you enter the room and lighting is poor. Staff is friendly. Mountains with lake view in the morning is very refreshing.

Zimmer sehr unsauber!!!!!

Located in quiet hilltop village with magnificent view overlooking lake. Rooms clean and spacious. Restaurant menu limited but food well prepared. Best of all, staff were pleasant and accommodating. A pleasant respite from our Swiss travels.

Nous sommes allé en couple dans une chambre double pour une nuit. Elle était très propre et tous étaient corrects. La vue n'etait pas formidable, mais pour le prix c'etait bien. Les rideau laisse passé de la lumiere. Il y avait même une machine Nexpresso et tout. Nous avons mangé sur place le soir un plat de pâtes avec sauce tomates avec deux tranches de poissons, le tout fait maison. C'etait tellement succulent que nous aurions bien pris encore un peu, mais la dose était correcte. Le petit déjeuner était bien avec une vue panoramique. A propos des activités, nous avons été a pied à une distance de 100m sur le pont suspendu de Sigriswil de 340m, d'ailleurs l'hôtel nous a fourni un bon de réduction pour le passage du pont qui était 4chf au lieu de 8chf. Et la gratuité des transports en bus et d'autres réductions. Nous en avons bien profiter du bus pour monter encore plus haut de la montagne et faire ensuite une balade et redescendre en bus et faire la visite de la ville de thoune. Nous sommes revevenus le soir devant l'hôtel pour reprendre notre voiture. C'était une journée que nous avons beaucoup apprécié, car il a fait en plus très beau. Je vous recommande cet établissement.

Wunderschöne Lage im Dorfzentrum, gute Busverbindungen, Hotel ist grundsätzlich sehr schön und gepflegt, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Staff ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit.

It is always hard to tell what a hotel is Actually like from pics, but this hotel was a delightful surprise that exceeded our expectations. The views really do look like their promo pics - direct frontal view of snowy peaks. The family room was a good large size, as was the bathroom (rare in Europe!). Staff was flawlessly nice, helpful & professional, good breakfast, serviceable onsite restaurant, and best of all - Gorgeous friendly house cat who lavishes affection on all guests :) We'd definitely stay again.

Nice hotel “a bit old” but nice in a small village, with a fantastic view over the lake and mountains. We had a very nice room with balcony. New bathroom with very good showers. Breakfast served in the restaurant with Mountain View. Food in the restaurant was a bit under standard of what you could expect. Only 5 min walk to the panorama bridge. Perfect stop for one or two nights in the area of Thun lake. Will I use again, yes price and standard go hand in hand.

I would like to know who rated this hotel at 4 stars? This is so misleading I passed over so many hotels that are 3 stars and I’m sure they will be better than this one because of the false rating. First thing you can’t sleep here because of the church bells that ring every hour, every half an hour and every 15 mins even after midnight. 2) there is no air conditioning we went in mid September and the room was so hot and we couldn’t open the windows because of the mosquitoes. 3) location wise it is very inconvenient and far from the main train stations, so be prepared to take a bus that comes hourly to go to interlaken Ost or Thun train stations, the bus ride is 55 mins with another bus change 4) every time we went down to have breakfast and we went early at 8 or before they were always out of everything and they blamed it on a group of tourists who ate and finished everything in the buffet. They should have prepared enough amount to everybody staying at the hotel 5) they didn’t refill any shampoo or soap 6) the only one good thing I liked about this place is the view which I couldn’t enjoy because the room was so hot so we couldn’t stay in our room to enjoy the view

Værelset er en suite med stue/køkken samt et stort soveværelse. Badeværelset er stort og vi lagde mærke til, at det var handicap venligt. Der er en stor balkon til værelset med bord og et par stole. Balkonen er perfekt sted til at opholde sig og nyde den smukke udsigt. Morgen mad er af god standard uden at være prangende. Kan varmt anbefale hotellet.

The room for 2 was too small, that one can barely move inside. Had to upgrade to a bigger one.

Hotel is right next to bus stop that goes to Thun, which is perfect if you need the convenience of travel. Staff is very friendly and assisted me when they couldn’t find my booking or work the safe. I dock a couple of stars because the room is slightly dated (no free outlets to plug into next to the beds) and there isn’t someone always at the front desk to help (but perhaps because I went off season). This place gets the job done for a night, and the views from the patio/balcony are just lovely!

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, das Zimmer hatte weder einen Stuhl noch einen Sessel und auch keinen Tisch. Wir haben auf Reklamation ein etwas größeres Zimmer bekommen, wo dann der Balkontisch und ein Stuhl reingestellt wurde. Auch das Frühstück war für ein 4 * Hotel sehr unterdurchschnittlich. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber es wurde z. B. zweimal die Kurtaxe abgebucht und auch nach Reklamation erst mal nicht zurückerstattet, das passiert aber hoffentlich noch. Jedenfalls hat das Hotel keinerlei 4 Sterne-Niveau und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr schlecht.

Fantastisch gelegen Hotel. Heerlijk ontbijt. Hele klantvriendelijke eigenaresse. Alles is mogelijk als je wat vraagt. Heerlijk hotel!

DO NOT Stay at this property if you want to SLEEP! When I booked this I knew it had a bell tower close by. I had no idea the bell tower chimed ALL night long. Plus it has a bus stop across the street from the hotel. Plus the restaurant is below so you get the noise from all of that. ON top of that they had a festival going that weekend down the street you could hear it with the windows shut. It went all night long. Then the drunks would come to the bus stop all night until 4:00-5:00 am. I complained at the front desk they did nothing to compensate us just apologize. Supposed to be family run never saw the owner. The front desk person worked at the front desk also worked in the restaurant. We ate one night in the restaurant. I asked for a glass of tap water. They charged me for a glass of tap water after all the problems we had. The morning after we had no sleep I complained and she said she had no idea what was going on down the street. That afternoon they said it was a festival and would be going on again that night. It happens every year at this time. I told them they should not book people staying in this hotel if they want to sleep or at least tell them it is going on when they book it. the next morning when we checked out I complained again. They offered nothing. I told them they should have payed me to stay here not me pay them for no sleep for two nights.

We loved our stay! It was perfect for us to be out of the busy areas. Beautiful place! The staff Alexandria and Miguel were amazing. They were polite, attentive and friendly. We enjoyed their kindness and attention to details. They make it an extra special place to stay.

Wunderschöne Lage im Dorfzentrum, gute Busverbindungen, Hotel ist grundsätzlich sehr schön und gepflegt, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Staff ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit.

We love the location. It’s right next to the bus stop. Staff was so friendly and our room was fantastic. Love that they provide electric fans, as it was particularly hot during our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

Nos ha encantado el hotel! Esta en un pueblecito con vistas al lago Thunersee y las montañas detrás, hay un super a menos de 5 minutos andando y tiene parada de bus justo al salir del hotel. Nuestra habitación tenía unas vistas preciosas y era enorme, con dos estancias distintas. Lo único a tener en cuenta es que la iglesia está justo al lado, y el reloj de la torre suena a cada cuarto de hora entre las 6 de la mañana y las 11 de la noche aproximadamente. A mi no me supuso ningún problema, pero a alguien muy sensible a los ruidos igual le molesta.

the property was perfect for a family of three. The mountain/lake view was astonishing. There was a bus facility right from outside of the hotel which is super convenient to go about. I would totally recommend this to all.

Amazing views and quality rooms. Disappointing breakfast, not a lot of options and simple things like the bread was not fresh and the eggs were boiled into oblivion

Espetacular Recepcionista Dominica e cafe da manha showww...otimo. Mas o atendimento da garconete do jantar é pessima...mau humor absurdo. Mas os demais funcionários do cafe da manha sao extremamente educados e de bom humor...compensa o péssimo atendimento da mulher do jantar
