The hostel is a longstanding Lake District favourite, a recommended stop on Wainwright's Coast to Coast and an ideal bolt-hole for anyone with their sights set on a stress-free high-level activity holiday, be it climbing, hiking or family-friendly walking holidays you're keen on. YHA Borrowdale sits in a stunning location at the core of the Lake District National Park, perfect for outdoor activity breaks, school trips and family holidays. The hostel couples a warm, informal and welcoming atmosphere with the picturesque building and breath-taking views. YHA Borrowdale has 86 beds including a selection of dorm beds and private rooms. The majority of our rooms contain bunk beds. Facilities on site include a cycle store, free parking, free wifi in social spaces, a lounge area and a well stocked bar. A self catering kitchen is available and we also offer a wide selection of delicious food and freshly made hot drinks at affordable prices. YHA BORROWDALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay. Check in from 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Check out before 10:00am. Payment upon arrival by credit cards. Please note the hostel might pre-authorise your card before arrival. Taxes included. Breakfast not included. Breakfast price is £10.95 General: No curfew. Child friendly. Reception: 7.30am-11pm The maximum period of stay is 14 days. Following any stay of 14 nights, guests may not stay in any YHA accommodation for at least seven nights. YHA cannot accept bookings for 16 people or more. Any such bookings will be cancelled by YHA. The ID must match the name and address on the booking. Where a booking is for more than one person, the named person on the booking will need to provide proof of identify that matches the name and address on the booking. ID will also be requested from all other adult guests. These IDs must match the name they sign in with at check in. Please note, we do not charge an additional temporary membership fee. Discounts are not available for members of YHA (England and Wales) or Hostelling International as part of this booking. Towels are not included in the room rate.
