Gerald, Ronnie and the rest of the dinning staff (including everyone in the kitchen) were just superb ! We loved the monkeys and birds waking us in the am. The pool was ynder repair, so we didnt use it.

Nice property close to beach. Loved our patio. Found the restaurant wayyyy too highly priced. Breakfast was good but sur charges for any extras. Pool chairs dirty. Otherwise everything was great.

We enjoyed the grounds around the hotel, but facilities were limited and there was live entertainment every night that was very good, but it drew in people from other resorts making parking a problem coming back to the hotel at the end of our day and the restaurant was right under our window. Fortunately they ended the music between 9 and 10, but people were drinking and noisy till a bit later. The cost was pricey for what the facilities were. And the dinner menu was very pricey. All the staff were very nice and helpful. We were disappointed that there wasn’t the availability of coffee and tea in the reception area or restaurant from 6 am to 10 pm like most places we like to stay. It was available in our room, but when trying to get to an excursion really early it would have been nice to have it available in the common area since people were there setting tables and getting ready for the day. Also, electrical outlets were so minimal and they couldn’t hold the plug in place. There were only 2 outlets available in the bathroom. My husband couldn’t use his CPAP machine as there was no place to plug it in by the bed. The hotel was adequate, but for $200 a night it was less than expected.

Villa del Sueno Oasis is a great place to stay. It is quiet, the swimming pool is wonderful, rooms are nice, clean, beds are comfortable. The high light of the whole place is the restarant, the staff, and music on weekends. We have returned for the last 3 years. Also close to the airport Liberia. Highly recommended !!!

Just spent 3 nights there, was a nice property. Quiet area at the end of town, easy walk to the beach. There is music frequently which is good fun. We had several meals at the restaurant and the food was great! The staff especially were welcoming and very helpful. They make a great pina colada!!! It is a bit misleading because they state there are 2 pools, but the larger one is off limits to occupants of Villa Sueno, is apparently only for El Oasis folks which seems a bit misleading in the advertising. Playa Hermosa itself was perfect for us, lowkey, good restos and the beach itself was beautiful, we would happily stay at Villa del Sueno again.

Gorgeous property and amazing pool. The surroundings are impeccable and very attractive to the eye, specially at night. Room was cozy and clean. One thing that would be appreciated is gated/guarded parking area, specially after hours, just for extra piece of mind. But that might just be me, since I noticed it’s relatively safe around here.

We stayed for four nights and had a very enjoyable time. We swam every day in the pool, which was very clean and we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and a beautifully prepared breakfast every day. The staff were all fluent in English and were very helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable and we had everything we needed. There was live music several nights when we were there it was very entertaining and professional. It is a very short walk to the most beautiful beach and sunsets. I would highly recommend this place and would love to come back.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. The room was quiet, spacious and clean. The grounds were well maintained. Breakfast was good. One of the biggest things for us was having good internet and it was very good. We would definitely stay there again.

The highlight of staying at this hotel is the beautiful gardens which surround the villas and pool. From our balcony we enjoyed looking out onto flowering tropical plants, palms and listening to the birds sing. The photos in the ad for this hotel are exactly what you can expect. The villas enjoy the use of a small pool surrounded by beautiful gardens. It is a wonderful space to relax. I'm addition to having beautiful grounds the hotel is only a short five minute walk from the beach. The villa itself was comfortable and very clean. It had a studio layout with a small couch and table and chairs. The balcony was a highlight for us and we spent time there in the morning and evening when it wasn't too hot. The stairway up to the villa entrance could be cleaned. I don't think it was swept during our stay and dirt and leaves accumulated over time. At night ants could be seen crawling along the ceiling in the room which was unsettling, but they never bothered us. We learned during our trip to accept the presence of insects in our accommodations as part of life in a tropical climate. Breakfast was included every morning at the restaurant and it was quite tasty. There were a few different options to choose from and each was accompanied with a plate of fruit and a glass of juice. We did eat dinner at the restaurant on our first day and the food was good but overpriced for what it was. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend.

This was the most beautiful place ever! It was sparkling clean, felt very aafe, and had an amazing staff. The grounds and pools are very well cared for, its like staying in the garden of eden. Loved the breakfast options, all really tasty. We would go there again in a heartbeat, this is a must visit while in Guanacaste!

It was very clean rooms, we were at the quiet pool and the free breakfast was nice but not a buffet style. The grounds were lush and kept, the walk to beach not more than 2 blocks. No view to ocean. But nice staff and very accommodating for a to go breakfast for our early flight departure!

Place was nice, but a little outdated, and AC was not working the great, shower was leaking and toilet was leaking. Pool was dirty. 2 days I actually cleaned it myself!!! Staff was very friendly but would not go back.

Stayed one night. Wonderful small hotel with beautiful setting, flowers and birds. Pool was great temperature. Breakfast was exceptional and Brandon (I forget the spelling of his name) was so pleasant at breakfast. Bed was good. Great bargain and felt very safe.

Bel endroit avec un personnel sympathique et un bon petit-déjeuner. Petit souci de chambre vite réglé par le patron qui nous a relocalisé. Par contre, je recommande fortement une chambre côté cour intérieure car le bruit de la rue, notamment un chien qui jappait fort, nous a réveillés chaque nuit.

Felt very comfortable here - homey and cozy. Staff was lovely. We initially had an issue with wifi, but they accommodated us by moving us to an another room which was much bigger and spacious than the original one we had. Boom rooms carefully as they range in size, price and quality.

We would definitely stay here again! We had the superior king room. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of outlets. Had one outlet in the restroom I had to use for everything. The two in the bedroom were too complicated to access. Not a complaint- just something to note. Absolutely loved the bathroom window. I would open it each morning to listen to the birds 😊 The included breakfast was delicious! We had the Costa Rican breakfast each morning. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed 11 days and have nothing but rave reviews .. the staff.. Randall, Jorge, Gerald, Jose..amazing people.. they greated us every day by name, they gave us excellent service, lots of laughs and smiles. Front desk and house keeping very nice and quick. The pool was always nice and clean, lots of beds to lay out on, lots of parking and a quick walk to Playa Hermosa. We enjoyed our stay very much and the amazing bloody ceasar made by Randall 😉

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa del Sueno. Staff were very friendly and helpful in making our stay comfortable and arranging tours in the area. The room was excellent with good A/C and fan and a very comfortable bed. We liked the ambience of the hotel with dining area opening onto lush tropical gardens. Tastefully decorated with a warm, friendly feel. Breakfasts were included - we enjoyed the fresh fruit every morning and the generous Costa Rican breakfast. Easy walking distance to the beach where we enjoyed the fine sand, some snorkelling and lovely sunsets. Great spot, especially for those wanting a quieter beach town.

The room was excellent with good A/C and fan and a very comfortable bed. We liked the ambience of the hotel with dining area opening onto lush tropical gardens. Tastefully decorated with a warm, friendly feel. Breakfasts were included - we enjoyed the fresh fruit every morning and the generous Costa Rican breakfast. Easy walking distance to the beach where we enjoyed the fine sand, some snorkelling and lovely sunsets. Great spot, especially for those wanting a quieter beach town.

Felt very comfortable here - homey and cozy. Staff was lovely. We initially had an issue with wifi, but they accommodated us by moving us to an another room which was much bigger and spacious than the original one we had. Boom rooms carefully as they range in size, price and quality.

I have nothing negative to say at all. A couple things irked me, but they were really none of my business so I won't say. What I will say, whenever something wasn't right? They fixed it. They are very customer service oriented here. The hotel (I'm no expert) is 3-4 star. Very spacious rooms, clean, all you would want. The Restaurant is 5 star, but personally? For THIS place, can I invent SIX star? They'd make it easily. Not the first time we've stayed here; repeat customers who will be checking in again on April 2nd. Food is over the top sensational every single meal. Top five breakfast place, and possibly number one for dinner, and I've been to Costa Rica 12 times now, staying usually 3 weeks but once only 2 weeks. Been ALL over the country. Highly recommend. We enjoyed our stay, albeit short, at the hotel. We only stayed one night, needing a place without a long drive to the Airport. It was an easy drive to our car rental drop off. I’m glad we chose this location. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was great having such a short walk to the beach where we could watch the sunset fade into the ocean on our final night in Costa Rica.

This is a beautiful property within 10 min walking distance to the beach. Breakfast is so delicious and fresh the staff are very kind and accommodating. They helped us get a dinner reservation and allowed us to check in early. Just fyi there is not much within walking distance but lots of restaurants at playa coco which is about a 10 minute drive

Beautiful garden and well maintained pool. Clean rooms and convenient restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. We love live music with possibility of dancing on Friday and Saturday. Walkable distance to the beach - about 5 min. The only thing that we didn’t like about the beach was that if you were coming back at night from the beach there were no street lights for a short time, dark and dirty corners of the street near by. I think the hotels on the same street should have street lights and clean streets that connect the beach.

Villa del Sueno Oasis is a great place to stay. It is quiet, the swimming pool is wonderful, rooms are nice, clean, beds are comfortable. The high light of the whole place is the restarant, the staff, and music on weekends. We have returned for the last 3 years. Also close to the airport Liberia. Highly recommended !!!

The 2 bedroom suite was very nice and I found it very cozy and convenient. About a 5 minute walk to the beach. Within 10 min to nearby restaurants. The A/C worked very well and they were very accommodating.

Close enough to Coco beach for more dining options and beach stuff plus a very decent grocery store. Was great as a low key home base for this trip and very easy to and from the airport.

Everything was great, which is why this is the 4th time we've stayed here. Only down sides are it's not super wheelchair friendly, but not impossible. Price for a beer is unusually high (6USD), as are extras at breakfast. Example, 5USD for two pieces of toast? Kind of outrageous, as were any of the breakfast add ons. BUT, this is a 5 star, no arguments, restaurant. I've never stayed at ANY hotel ANYWHERE that has food of this quality. It's literally near perfect or perfect almost every time. Truly outstanding. Getting ice is a pain too. If they cleaned all that up, this stay could have been 100 out of 100 instead of 95. Hard to argue with 95 though. We'll be back. Randall the Handle, best ever waiter, typical Costa Rican guy (as were really almost everyone working there). Will miss him the most, and his young apprentice (forgot his name, but he was the youngest waiter by far). Sure hope they're still there next year.

The highlight of staying at this hotel is the beautiful gardens which surround the villas and pool. From our balcony we enjoyed looking out onto flowering tropical plants, palms and listening to the birds sing. The photos in the ad for this hotel are exactly what you can expect. The villas enjoy the use of a small pool surrounded by beautiful gardens. It is a wonderful space to relax. I'm addition to having beautiful grounds the hotel is only a short five minute walk from the beach. The villa itself was comfortable and very clean. It had a studio layout with a small couch and table and chairs. The balcony was a highlight for us and we spent time there in the morning and evening when it wasn't too hot. The stairway up to the villa entrance could be cleaned. I don't think it was swept during our stay and dirt and leaves accumulated over time. At night ants could be seen crawling along the ceiling in the room which was unsettling, but they never bothered us. We learned during our trip to accept the presence of insects in our accommodations as part of life in a tropical climate. Breakfast was included every morning at the restaurant and it was quite tasty. There were a few different options to choose from and each was accompanied with a plate of fruit and a glass of juice. We did eat dinner at the restaurant on our first day and the food was good but overpriced for what it was. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend.

This beautiful and tranquil Hotel has a Restaurant onsite serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the food is delicious. They have a stage and host live music ALOT, Amazing! The room was quiet and clean, King size beds are very nice and comfortable. Best part.... It was only 3-4 minutes walk to a beautiful beach that had kayak rentals, a food truck, and lots of locals, not an overcrowded tourist spot. I would definitely stay here again!

This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. We totally enjoyed our week here. The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was great. The pool was great. The restaurant was wonderful. The chef quality food was awesome! We ate there every day. Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay there. We were in the area for our residency visa appointments. If we are back in the area again, we would stay there in a heartbeat. This is truly a hidden gem.

This hotel was an absolute hidden gem, and we were so excited to have found it that we immediately extended our stay by a couple of days. We stayed in one of the suites, which was great for having a little kitchenette, a private patio to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful grounds, drink our coffee in the morning, and had a gorgeous pool just steps away from our door. The environment within the grounds was well maintained, quiet, relaxing atmosphere. We absolutely loved it! The room itself was comfortable, clean, with very well working AC to maintain it nice and cold. The free breakfast that was included with our particular state was delicious and a great plus. We would highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again!
