Nice room, could use a little attention but nice to have a back door convenient to car park. The staff were all friendly and wonderful. In a nice quiet area (residential) Food was great.

We loved our stay at The Hawk. Very clean, friendly staff and a great breakfast. The setting is beautiful. The pub has a lovely terrace and beer garden with an open countryside view to the front. Idyllic setting with ponies and thatched cottages. The day we left there was bunch of Alpacas in the beer garden! Only one issue, we came back late at night to find that there was no outside lighting on so was a bit precarious making our way across the car park , into the building. I would definitely stay here again and ask if they would kindly leave an outside light on!

A lovely village pub with great staff and great views of the the village. Surrounded by cottages with lovely Thatched roofs. Great location for Salisbury. Car parking was good and the room was big, clean and very comfy bed.

Quaint place with nice pub underneath. You check in at the pub. Checkin was extremely quick. Pub has good food/drinks. We went on offpeak season so it was rather quiet. Our bed was big, very comfortable. Room was prefect and all we needed for sleeping after a long day of travel. Warning the gps might send you into the village and not the hotel. Also, for those with bad knees or out of shape you will need to climb stairs while carrying your bags.

Really enjoyed our 2 nights here. Room was comfy and well equipped. Clean bathroom with bath and great shower overhead. Staff were friendly and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere and beautiful outside areas. We watched owls and deer as we enjoyed an evening drink overlooking the view.

Found this place by accident on the web and initially was going to book somewhere else, however, changed my mind and I'm glad I did. The Hawk Inn is a cracking pub and restaurant with rooms to rent. It's in a beautiful, quiet area with outside seating which was great as it was a warm evening when we arrived. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The bar prices are reasonable for the area and a bargain price of £63 for an en-suite double room with all the facilities that you would expect. I thoroughly recommend the inn to anyone - loved the place and would go again. PS - contact them direct for the best price!

All the staff gave an amazing customer service. It was a very welcoming, friendly and warm atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. I cannot fault it in any way.

This was a very pleasant overnight stay. The pub/inn is stylish and fits well in the rural setting. The room was comfortable, clean and warm and the bed was really comfortable - which assured a good night's rest. The evening menu offered a selection of choices, including vegetarian options. Breakfast was plentiful and with a good selection of hot and cold options. The staff were very pleasant.

Poor service from bar. Food menu limited and basically fried or grilled. Took over an hour to remove my dinner plate from my table. Went down to breakfast at 7:45 no staff there so just had to walk out and leave my key. Bed really comfy but the room is very tired with cobwebs in shower and in bedroom. Was woken from 6am with staff going to the outside bins on more than one occasion.

Welcome on arrival and at the bar was very good. Nice country inn in a small picturesque village and lived the Breach Farm brewery just 1/2 hour country walk away. Nice room but it was far too hot which didn’t make for the best nights sleep unfortunately.

Lovely pub with friendly staff. Check in and out very efficient. Food - breakfast and evening meal was really good. The room was small but adequate. Good selection of teas, coffees and biscuits. Everything you could want -TV, kettle, coffee machine, hair dryer, iron etc. the shower was powerful but the door needs fixing and the shower didn’t. drain well. Lovely setting with great rural views.

Amazing place to stay, beautiful location, superb food and outstanding customer service. The only thing that lets it down is the constant slamming of doors by other guests (intentionally or not) and its very LOUD! Being an older building It literally resonates thoughout your room and is very disruptive, especially if you want an early night. Other than that we had a great stay!

Shower soap bottle was almost empty - shouldn't be a customer finding it out. Loud music from the ground floor - possibly from the kitchen area. Asked to turn the volume down and the noise didn't go down.

We stayed here overnight during August. The room was very nicely furnished & decorated & supplied with coffee, water etc & USB charging points. The photo on the website doesn't do the rooms justice - they are much nicer than they look on the photo! Unfortunately the room & bathroom got the daytime sun & the curtains and window were open when we arrived so was very hot at night although a (much needed) fan was provided in the room. There was also a spotlight over the back door which shone directly into our room & stayed on all night - it needs moving further down the wall! The pub is in a lovely village, quiet & remote & we had a nice evening meal outside & a good breakfast. It is just a few miles away from Thruxton racetrack so very convenient for us!

A classic elegant village pub with modern twist. Lovely delicious menu, service very good. We stayed for 2 nights in charming rooms, very well equipped with docking phone charging stations, radios & tv, large comfortable beds & decor. Whilst we did encounter a problem with housekeeping the first night Lisa was outstanding with her management of that situation, her hospitality, friendliness and efficiency is a real asset To The Hawk, her management makes us want to return.

Breakfast service was awful. Gave up after 30 mins (it wasn't busy) and ended up late for work. Not impressive.

Welcome on arrival and at the bar was very good. Nice country inn in a small picturesque village and lived the Breach Farm brewery just 1/2 hour country walk away. Nice room but it was far too hot which didn’t make for the best nights sleep unfortunately.

We loved our stay at The Hawk. Very clean, friendly staff and a great breakfast. The setting is beautiful. The pub has a lovely terrace and beer garden with an open countryside view to the front. Idyllic setting with ponies and thatched cottages. The day we left there was bunch of Alpacas in the beer garden! Only one issue, we came back late at night to find that there was no outside lighting on so was a bit precarious making our way across the car park , into the building. I would definitely stay here again and ask if they would kindly leave an outside light on!

A lovely village pub with great staff and great views of the the village. Surrounded by cottages with lovely Thatched roofs. Great location for Salisbury. Car parking was good and the room was big, clean and very comfy bed.

beautiful location near Stonehenge. lovely dining with outdoor seating. Staff are friendly and attentive. Room was warm on a summer night, and very cozy. The inn had some condition issues like peeling wall paper, but was clean and comfortable

Amazing place to stay, beautiful location, superb food and outstanding customer service. The only thing that lets it down is the constant slamming of doors by other guests (intentionally or not) and its very LOUD! Being an older building It literally resonates thoughout your room and is very disruptive, especially if you want an early night. Other than that we had a great stay!

We stayed here overnight during August. The room was very nicely furnished & decorated & supplied with coffee, water etc & USB charging points. The photo on the website doesn't do the rooms justice - they are much nicer than they look on the photo! Unfortunately the room & bathroom got the daytime sun & the curtains and window were open when we arrived so was very hot at night although a (much needed) fan was provided in the room. There was also a spotlight over the back door which shone directly into our room & stayed on all night - it needs moving further down the wall! The pub is in a lovely village, quiet & remote & we had a nice evening meal outside & a good breakfast. It is just a few miles away from Thruxton racetrack so very convenient for us!

Found this place by accident on the web and initially was going to book somewhere else, however, changed my mind and I'm glad I did. The Hawk Inn is a cracking pub and restaurant with rooms to rent. It's in a beautiful, quiet area with outside seating which was great as it was a warm evening when we arrived. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The bar prices are reasonable for the area and a bargain price of £63 for an en-suite double room with all the facilities that you would expect. I thoroughly recommend the inn to anyone - loved the place and would go again. PS - contact them direct for the best price!

A very clean and comfortable hotel. Excellent customer service on a very busy night and the room was very nice. The food in the evening and breakfast had great healthy choices too. Will definitely go back

Lovely pub with friendly staff. Check in and out very efficient. Food - breakfast and evening meal was really good. The room was small but adequate. Good selection of teas, coffees and biscuits. Everything you could want -TV, kettle, coffee machine, hair dryer, iron etc. the shower was powerful but the door needs fixing and the shower didn’t. drain well. Lovely setting with great rural views.

This was a very pleasant overnight stay. The pub/inn is stylish and fits well in the rural setting. The room was comfortable, clean and warm and the bed was really comfortable - which assured a good night's rest. The evening menu offered a selection of choices, including vegetarian options. Breakfast was plentiful and with a good selection of hot and cold options. The staff were very pleasant.

Poor service from bar. Food menu limited and basically fried or grilled. Took over an hour to remove my dinner plate from my table. Went down to breakfast at 7:45 no staff there so just had to walk out and leave my key. Bed really comfy but the room is very tired with cobwebs in shower and in bedroom. Was woken from 6am with staff going to the outside bins on more than one occasion.

Another lovely place run by the group, only issue was the noisy people on the patio who were up until 12:30, fortunately I didn’t have an early start, but if you want an early night, probably best to request a room at the back

It would have been nice to have a fan or something that could cool the room down. The Dyson fan did not help. It was three of the hottest days in England and it was sweltering in the room. Even the linen was hot. It was so hot that my phone was over heating and could not charge. Fortunately there was a small refrigerator in the room that I could store my insulin.

We stayed here the night before going to Thruxton race circuit. When we rang to say we needed both our rooms to be twins or have separate beds, not a problem. We were able to have supper outside with excellent food and fantastic service. Beds were comfy, fans in every room for the heat and by 10am I had an email offering to post the PJ’s I had left behind! We will definitely come back and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff in particular were great - thank you
