Youth Hostel Echternach

Situated on the banks of the Sûre, which forms the border to Germany, Echternach (population 5.165) is the ideal place to explore the Mullerthal, a fascinating landscape of curious sandstone formations, creeks of gurgling springs and magnificent forests. Echternach is especially well known for the annual dancing procession on Whit-Tuesday and for the medieval character of the city. It is located in the middle of the recreation centre with artificial lake. A playground for children is within short walking distance. Regular animations (fitness, climbing, nordic walking �) are proposed to the visitors. MTB bikes and nordic walking sticks can be rented at the hostel. Clubs and school groups can hire the sports hall and the climbing wall.
