We had no contact with any staff. Check in was with our key left at a window, and then no one was around the entire time we were there. The place was older and not super clean. Our bare feet were black from walking on the floors and hair and prior occupant toiletry scraps in the shower. The curtains were all stained and it just was kind of yuck. We even washed glassware prior to use because of smudges at the lip line. Definitely disappointed for what I paid.

The reason to stay at this property is the location. It is perfectly located near everything. This building has so much potential but is in disrepair. There is no vent in the bathroom and pink mold was delveloping on the ceiling - not healthy at all. The ceiling fan in the main room did not work and when I asked about it, they admitted it didn't and to use the A/C. The bed was comfortable and the wifi worked just fine. The guy running the building was rude and condescending. Not friendly and not helpful. The hotel is supposed to include a free mini-van ride to the hotel. When we arrived, it was VERY confusing as to what were had to do. There are 2 lines forming, one for taxi's and one for hotel shuttles. Nowhere in the instructions does it state which line you need to wait in or that you have to get in line at all - you cannot just walk up to any mini-van like the instructions given state as other people are waiting in line. I called the guy and he was very rude and said to wait in a line - and finished with "as our email said" - very rude and his email mentions NOTHING of waiting in line. We ended up paying $20+ for a ride with a taxi as the lines were VERY LONG. The cleaning staff were very polite. The building needs upgrading, electrical work, venting, everything, new windows. Water pressure was too intense. This could be a great place with proper maintanence and management. If just needing a place to sleep and you care about nothing else, this place is fine.

We have been going to this place for ten or so years and the place is getting tireder each year we go so this will be our last year we will find something else more comfortable. The fan in the room doesn’t work, there is a real lack of lighting in the room. The kitchen oven is scary as it has holes in it, the refrigerator has the shelves taped in which doesn’t give confidence that they are usable. We could only get the Kurig coffee machine to work twice then it would not work. The chairs are reasonable to be used when eating at the table but they are not comfortable enough that you would want to sit in them for a prolonged period of time. So all in all we were very disappointed with the room .

The room was quaint and refreshing. Ac worked great! Great views from the windows. Bathroom was well maintained, shower water pressure was a little like standing in front of a fire hose with aerosolized water clouds lol. But it was fine. Remote control probably needed new batteries but we were only there one night so we made do. Fridge in closet was convenient and kept our champagne chilled. Overall thy place was cute and peaceful.

housekeeping staff was friendly and kept the rooms and outside areas very clean! The room we had was spacious, with a large refrigerator as part of the kitchen. We were facing the harbor, with a nice view out the window or off the porch walkway. The front steps to the street could use some lighting for safer walking, but all else was well-lit. A comfortable lodging at a reasonable price!
