Brandon View House B&B a four star Failte Ireland approved home set in scenic countryside east of Kilkenny city on the Carlow border. Central location to visit Kilkenny Castle 30 minutes drive and Waterford Crystal 35 minutes drive. It is very convenient to the villages of Borris and Graiguenamanagh which offer singing pubs and excellent restaurants. A warm welcome awaits you with refreshments on arrival. All our bedrooms have thier own private bathroom. Some rooms have four poster beds and king size beds. All are non smoking. Bedrooms vary from old style to modern decor, with excellent views and our B&B has a guest lounge to relax in after a long day. Guests are encouraged to take a book from our library and unwind and up date themselves on the many tourist attractions in the area. Our bright, comfortable dining room is a perfect setting for meals and friendly conversations. Enjoy breakfast in the conservatory which boasts panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. We offer an extensive menu choice catering for all dietary requirements. We pride ourselves in using our own free range eggs and local produce where possible. Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am daily. Breakfast is not included in the price, rates are room only, but breakfast is available at a surcharge payable at the B&B. The sleepy town of Graiguenamanagh is only 6km away where you can see the famous Duiske Abbey the oldest Cistercian Church in Ireland. There is also Duiske Glass, Bernard Kavanagh Pottery and Cushendale Woollen Mills one of the oldest family run woollen mills in Ireland.
