My/our stay at Boma Inn was great. Rooms are quite big and very nice. Me and my gf had some smaller meal at lounge bar at the Boma hotel just close. Very nice also watching football. Tje best is the very hodpital reception. They helped me in so many ways. I will really be happy to come back.

I had a wonderful stay here. I have never experienced such thoughtful and friendly staff in my many years traveling. Alex at the Inn went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed. I had a massage in the spa at the Boma hotel nextdoor with Frida. She has years of experience and is amazing! I will be returning again!

This is a great deal, especially if you get the breakfast included option! The breakfast next door at the Boma Hotel is outstanding! At the Inn itself, the staff is excellent. Daniel at the front desk was incredibly friendly and accommodating! The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job making up our room every day, too. We had some issues the first week we stayed, but after we changed rooms, most all were resolved. Perhaps the only things that downgrade our rating from 5 stars to 4 are 1.) the wifi is on the weaker side and tends to go in and out, and 2.) the elevator makes a loud metallic knocking sound that we could hear in our room whenever it was moving up or down (our room was located right near the elevator.) Overall, however, our stay was wonderful, and again, such a deal for the wonderful staff and delicious breakfast!

I wound up having an OK experience, but when I first checked in, they gave me the key to a room that was completely dirty -- unmade bed, empty food containers, looked like someone was still there or was very recently there -- and that was quite unsettling, especially as it was the middle of the night. So it was difficult to get comfortable after that. Also, check out was at 10:00 AM, a little earlier than most hotels.

Boma Inn has a roach problem in its rooms. I reported this to one of the housekeepers but she said it was because there was a restaurant on the first floor. However, Boma Hotel, which is the fancier and newer hotel, also has roaches in its restaurant lounge area. Also, I had an unpleasant experience with one of the restaurant servers (a woman in dark colored/shaded glasses) who expressed displeasure at my request for tea, which I did not know was available for self service. Without telling me this, she grumpily walked away without saying if she would bring tea and finally brought it about 20 minutes later after I realized there was tea for self service. When I apologized to her for requesting tea when I didn't realize I could get it myself, she didn't even acknowledge my apology and again grumpily walked away. My friend, a local Kenyan, had to say something to her in Swahili about her attitude. After which, she turned to me to ask me if she looked angry. I just told her she did not look happy when I requested the tea and then apologized afterwards when I realized it was for self service.

Reasonably priced spot to stay in Nairobi. Bomi Inn seems to be the cheaper option vs Bomi hotel but the facilities aren't as nice and the internet is unusable at Bomi Inn vs being super fast at Bomi Hotel. Rooms are reasonably sized, but a bit dated at the Inn.

Good hotel 30 mins from airport and terminius. Rooms are spacy and clean but shower was not so good. A/c has some problems but works. No breakfast this hotel. Possible to have at Boma hotel. Custom service at desk was ok but expect it can be better and more professional this hotel.

Poor stay. AC not working. Plus when I complained, the receptionist just acknowledged and did not do anything about it. It’s only after 60 min that I had to go to reception to call maintenance and manager. Manager told they don’t have any spare room. But when I insisted, suddenly a room became vacant. Total 2.5 hours wasted which I wanted to utilise for my rest. An airport transit hotel is required so that u take some rest. But regrettably I couldn’t

Everything was nice: the food, the room, the grounds, the service. Hotter, what really stood out was the entire Front Desk staff, starting with their manager Sharon. You could tell they love their jobs and she certainly manages them well.

Air condition in the room was very, very poor and thus very warm. Even though it was brought to the notice of the reception staff no attempt was made to rectify. I had given sufficient time of my arrival. Room phone too was out of order. Friendly staff. Fast response by reservation staff. Food is good. Food bills had to be settled immediately after dining. Boma Inn has a roach problem in its rooms. I reported this to one of the housekeepers but she said it was because there was a restaurant on the first floor. However, Boma Hotel, which is the fancier and newer hotel, also has roaches in its restaurant lounge area. Also, I had an unpleasant experience with one of the restaurant servers (a woman in dark colored/shaded glasses) who expressed displeasure at my request for tea, which I did not know was available for self service. Without telling me this, she grumpily walked away without saying if she would bring tea and finally brought it about 20 minutes later after I realized there was tea for self service. When I apologized to her for requesting tea when I didn't realize I could get it myself, she didn't even acknowledge my apology and again grumpily walked away. My friend, a local Kenyan, had to say something to her in Swahili about her attitude. After which, she turned to me to ask me if she looked angry. I just told her she did not look happy when I requested the tea and then apologized afterwards when I realized it was for self service.

This is a great deal, especially if you get the breakfast included option! The breakfast next door at the Boma Hotel is outstanding! At the Inn itself, the staff is excellent. Daniel at the front desk was incredibly friendly and accommodating! The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job making up our room every day, too. We had some issues the first week we stayed, but after we changed rooms, most all were resolved. Perhaps the only things that downgrade our rating from 5 stars to 4 are 1.) the wifi is on the weaker side and tends to go in and out, and 2.) the elevator makes a loud metallic knocking sound that we could hear in our room whenever it was moving up or down (our room was located right near the elevator.) Overall, however, our stay was wonderful, and again, such a deal for the wonderful staff and delicious breakfast!

Pros: The hotel was okay, not the best though. Reception, bar and hostimg staff were good. Hotel was secure, prople well dtessed and helpful, place was clean Cons: The room decor was old, bath was painted and you can see lots of wear & tear of the bath and wash hand basin Most Annoying: Being approached by 3 different female security asking you to buy them.food, or give them money. I found this very off-putting and unprofessional. Check-in time was at 2pm and I deliberately arrived after 3pm so I dont need to wait and to give them time to prepare the room before arrival. I arrived and still had a long wait until I could check-in to my room, and after a lomg wait, got to my room that didnt open. Eventually I got in and the receptionist did her best. Another very helpful receptionist was Alice.

Only negative was the staff insisting on using the Boma vehicles for arranging rides and not taxis, which are much cheaper than the hotel vehicles which charge in dollars. After you get to the hotel, use the Uber app and mpesa or Kenya Shillings.
