Thatched Cottage Hotel

Beautiful place to stay, immaculately clean with superb breakfast. Staff very efficient and friendly. Excellent location in the middle of the New Forest. Enjoyed seeing the donkeys roaming around the village. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Couldn't fault it. We would definitely recommend it. You won't find a nicee place to stay in Brockenhurst.

Hotels.com have asked me "How helpful was the staff?" - it's "were"!!!!! This is their media/marketing dept. Thankfully the Thatched Cottage were so much better and more efficient. It's gorgeous, need to do a bit of ducking but really efficient. Steve in the tearoom doing breakfast was superb and really enhanced the experience. Wife thought the mattress needed changing but that's the only minor criticism. It's a 15th century cottage so be prepared - they didn't have 6'3" people in those days. Superb breakfast and perfectly located with really easy reserved parking right outside.

Just come back from a 2 night stay at this cute place!

Lovely room but bath with shower not suitable as sloped ceiling stopped from using shower head and couldn’t stand up in bath so being elderly. Had superior room so disappointed. Breakfast was lovely as was staff

Steep staircase which we were not informed about my wife has a disability which made it difficult to get up and down
