Turtle Bay Beach Club- All Inclusive

Great pool. Excellent service.

It was perfectly comfortable and the rooms had air conditioning. There was a limited gluten free menu and the included wine was dreadful. The pool was lovely and the staff excellent. It is a but tired. The booking of sunbeds was very tedious as some people rarely even came to the bed while others had no space. The music at night was the same ever day, was not really catered for the needs of the huests that were there and very loud in the bedrooms

Great place to stay on the beach in Watamu, proximity to Malindi international airport was super given construction between Mombasa and Watamu! The private adults pool is amazing for those without kids that want a quiet pool. If you are across from the dining/entertainment area though it is loud with music at night until about 12:30 am - next time will request room on the opposite side. I had a wedding blessing that was absolutely incredible - Nancy the planner was the best!!!

Turtle Bay Beach Resort appears to have had some upgrades since our last visit in 2023. There is fresh paint in many places, the ping pong table has been restored and new paddles are available to use. The food remains good, though not exceptional and there is sufficient variety for most tastes. The all-inclusive alcoholic drinks remain dismal due to the use of bottom end ultra-cheap alcohol requiring the consumption of multiple drinks to better enjoy your vacation. This is despite asking for stronger drinks time and time again. End result, a full belly of juice and not as much relaxation as desired. The only other downside remains the "available" WiFi. I walked all the common areas one day and tested the WiFi download speeds. This included poolside, up at reception, in our room. I\'m sorry to report that there was no location that had a download speed in excess of 1mb/second, many locations such as our room had no WiFi whatsoever. In this modern era, this is unacceptable for guests who want to stream a movie at night for their kids. Turtle Bay, it\'s time to spend the money to upgrade your internet service!! We were pulling a strong signal in our room from nearby Medina Palms resort and no signal from Turtle Bay! Overall, Turtle Bay remains a reliable location to relax and not worry about added fees, but it remains in need of upgrades to remain competitive. Cheaper prices will only go so far before the lack of quality becomes more important than the savings. Tom

Amazing place, children friendly, clean, good food and rooms with great views

The food was great and the staff hospitality excellent. The pool was wonderful.

Nice choices: 2 pools (1 adults only); private beach area with chaises longes/thatch umbrellas; buffet each meal but you could get “snack”(burger/fries, fish n chips) any time plus there’s a separate pizza/pasta café. Scenic beach area with a turtle shaped rock; tide pools/coral to explore right there. Nice beach but really needs constant maintenance to clear the dead seaweed away. Beach covered with seaweed every day I was there (7 days), strewn with trash.

Overall an average experience staying at this hotel Positives - Friendly Welcoming Staff - Quality of the food was very good - Pool areas are very nice Negatives - Rooms are dated and need a refurb - Not enough Power points in the room - Checkout time says 11 on Hotels.com booking but it was 10am - Shoes went missing from the hotel room. The hotel were not very interested to look into why this had happened.

The staff get 12 out 10. Choice of different items in buffet are amazing. This is a 4* and they had king prawns on dinner menu on 21st december with the lower rates before Christmas. We are writing this review from a 5* hotel in malindi owned by a large italian chain on christmas eve and there is no dreams of having prawns on menu. Hands down an amazing experience. Only downside is the general cleanliness. The loos near the pool stink really bad

TV did not work. Staff and even manager called Ken made no effort to fix it.

The staff are what make the place. They will go above and beyond for you! It’s also beautiful! The rooms are clean and quiet. Not the fanciest hotel in the world but comfortable and comforting. Nothing left to be desired.

Personalet var meget venlige, hjælpsomme og smilende LIdt mærkværdigt at de tager håndklæderne om morgenen og så får man først håndklæser om eftermiddagen. Værelset var noget slidt

It was the most fantastic stay , hotel , food and staff we had in many many years . We loved the place , very relaxing and friendly visitors . I will recommend to friends and family . Joyce our waitress , thanks for making us feel like home 😘

All inclusive, but share what that means to vacationers. Just because on the beach someone is wearya Turtle Bay T shirt, doesn't mean they work for the Hotel.
