Funky vibe, and extraordinarily quiet. Some people might be put off by the old atmosphere, but it adds to the charm and character. Staff is outstanding. Parking is as simple as it gets. And since the typical guests are not looking to party until 2:00 in the morning, it's a very quiet place to stay. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved staying at the Holiday Music Motel. The decor was impeccable, down to the last detail. The furniture and fixtures in the room are truly vintage pieces, carefully chosen to create an authentic feel. There is a community kitchenette with coffee, vintage glasses, bottle opener, etc. And management is super welcoming from the beginning, making sure your stay is enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

The owner was super friendly, very helpful and the room was very clean, had all the amenities you would need. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer, kitchenet provided a microwave, refrigerator, sink, nice size kitchen table and chairs, cups, wine glasses and the decor was decorated in the 50s and 60s which was super cool.

The Holiday Muisc Motel was a beautiful night stay filled with nostalgia. The retro diner and cozy lobby were fun to hang out in while listening to tunes. There’s also an option to snuggle up by the fire pit!

Keybox check-in because we arrived late, no problem. Clean, comfortable room with good mattresses and plenty of pillows. Bathroom was spotless with lots of extra towels. Car was already shoveled out when we left from the snowstorm the night before. That's a first for me!

This was our third stay at Holiday Music. It is the cleanest place we have stayed in Door County. It is quiet and offers a kitchen area if you choose to make a quick meal, and is also within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and the Lake. We appreciate the locked lobby too.

We only stayed one night, but our room was extremely clean, possibly the quietest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, and the loving homage to the era was evident by in every single aspect of the entire motel, down to the smallest detail. We stayed in a room with 2 beds on the 1st floor for 2 nights. First night was scheduled through expedia, and 2nd night directly with the hotel's online website. Both processes were easily done. I did have questions about my reservations, and the hotel staff are helpful in answering any questions. Upon check in Melaniejane was the receptionist. She was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. The building and grounds are well cared for. Our room housekeeper was a kind, attentive lady named Jenny, who did a great job on the room. The beds and pillows were comfortable, room had a tv, coffee maker, hair dryer, and bathtub. An ironing board is available outside the rooms, and set up near the common area, where an ice machine, microwave and regular dishes are able to be used as needed. A bin is there for dirty dishes, which staff will wash for you. The hotel room has the most well typed, well put together, descriptive, updated binder I have ever seen for a hotel room. Policies, tv information, emergency numbers, detailed information on where to eat, play, and stay in Door County. I had no questions about anything else after reading through it. Another thing in there i liked was reading about all the songs that were written at the Holiday music motel, some songs were written in the very room we were staying in. If you are in Sturgeon bay on Thursday night, the tambourine lounge next to the hotel has a writers night where artists come and play songs. We will be back.

We absolutely loved staying at the Holiday Music Motel. The decor was impeccable, down to the last detail. The furniture and fixtures in the room are truly vintage pieces, carefully chosen to create an authentic feel. There is a community kitchenette with coffee, vintage glasses, bottle opener, etc. And management is super welcoming from the beginning, making sure your stay is enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

The owner was super friendly, very helpful and the room was very clean, had all the amenities you would need. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer, kitchenet provided a microwave, refrigerator, sink, nice size kitchen table and chairs, cups, wine glasses and the decor was decorated in the 50s and 60s which was super cool.

Adorable well kept retro motel with music motif. Clean and updated with 50s retro design. Lobby living room with guitars and other nostalgia. Small business owned. Located in walkable sturgeon bay. We were surprised and the music available at the nearby Martin park and the writers night next door. No breakfast but coffee maker in room Food truck next door. Clean and well maintained. Definitely recommend.

This was our third stay at Holiday Music. It is the cleanest place we have stayed in Door County. It is quiet and offers a kitchen area if you choose to make a quick meal, and is also within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and the Lake. We appreciate the locked lobby too.

This place is a gem. The well restored to near new condition in the 1950’s Motel was so much fun. Very well maintained with a great location in the heart of East Sturgeon Bay. I highly recommend this property if you’re up to a trip back in time!

If you're looking for a unique place to stay, this is it! The retro decor (flooring, bathroom tile, furniture, etc) put a smile on our faces and took us back to the good ol' days. REAL KEYS! VERY clean, Comfy bed. Great towels. Huge closet space. Really the only "complaint" was that the TV/streaming continued to go out and in. Were we there to watch TV? Of course not. But it's nice to have the noise.

Rooms were very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to venues we attended. Notified me immediately about an item I had left in our room. Will definitely stay again when visiting Sturgeon Bay.
