Lovely property with a yard filled with flowers and a view of the water from the front. Quiet and peaceful. Staff was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of with our late arrival. Breakfast brought to the room was delicious! Comfy beds, great shower, clean, and we appreciated the sitting area and table for breakfast. We will definitely stay again.

Hosts were exceptional. The property had several patio areas to enjoy drinks, have your breakfast or just relax and read a book. The delicious breakfast was brought to our room promptly at the time requested. We really enjoyed our stay.

Kim, Ian and team are fantastic hosts. We were warmly greeted on arrival and immediately noticed how nice the property is. Our room was spotless, modern, comfortable and inviting. Each room is different, and I'd suggest calling if you have questions about any of them. Breakfasts were great - served to us in our room (or outside if we wanted), right on time, hearty and delicious. The location is an easy walk to all the spots in Mendocino you'd want to get to - the cliffs along the ocean, shopping, and great restaurants. The location is pretty much right in the middle of all of those walks. We highly recommend!

Seagull Inn host, Ian, greeted us as old friends! Wonderful breakfast, great view of the ocean, and went to sleep to the sound of the surf breaking on the shore. Once the Mendocino Cafe next door has a very loud fan, starts about 8am and stops about 10pm. Was not a big deal for us as we were not in during the day and slept after the fan went off.

A spectacular location and the owner operators genuinely care for their guests experience. The property is old and definitely has some items that could use some updating however, everything was functional and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing (favorite was the crustless quiche) and the coffee was perfect as well. Looking forward to my next visit!

Super friendly owner, tasty breakfast, and an amazing location near the center of town (but still quiet). We stayed in the ADA room and it was in great condition and the bathroom was large and updated.

Booked room for a night, arrived late night, when i saw the condition of the room, Left a note and booked another room nearby. Skip this place if you can. Room smelled like mildew, with water spots on ceiling and coffee ring marks on books. Nice location but poor maintenance of room.

At $286 per night, it is not worth the money. Mendocino is a beautiful town. Seagull Inn does not align. Aged appearance, no AC in the room, dirty carpet, no extra toilet paper, no TV . One day, our room was not cleaned.One window frame was broken, there was a small Wooden stylet to keep it open. He only positive was the good breakfast but again not worth the money.

The room was updated, clean, cozy, and quaint. We loved it. Housekeeping brought us an extra space heater and blanket. They were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and everything fresh. Our 5 year old loved the fact that there was a swing set right across the street!

Staff service was tops. Our room had old time character and was quite pleasant. The bed was a bit soft for what we're used to, but we slept well. The only issue was the Wi-Fi was not working most of the time. Staff were responsive to the issue but seems it was beyond their control. Overall, we were satisfied and would recommend.

The Seagull Inn was one of the best, most homy places i think we have ever stayed at. Scott the inn keeper we had was amazing. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, giving us recommendations for everything we wanted to do. We would recommend this B&B to everyone!

Enjoyed Seagull inn. Ian was warm and inviting. The breakfasts were to die for! Excellent. I’d go back. It was rustic and perfectly located. Great town and village. Thanks Ian hope to see you again.

The location is an easy walk to all the spots in Mendocino you'd want to get to - the cliffs along the ocean, shopping, and great restaurants. The location is pretty much right in the middle of all of those walks. We highly recommend!

This was a great place to place. Scott was very friendly at checkin and made the checkin easy. The room was very pleasant and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was brought to our room in the morning and was delightful. Would highly recommend staying here.

The room was updated, clean, cozy, and quaint. We loved it. Housekeeping brought us an extra space heater and blanket. They were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and everything fresh. Our 5 year old loved the fact that there was a swing set right across the street!

Lovely property with a yard filled with flowers and a view of the water from the front. Quiet and peaceful. Staff was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of with our late arrival. Breakfast brought to the room was delicious! Comfy beds, great shower, clean, and we appreciated the sitting area and table for breakfast. We will definitely stay again.

I keep coming back to this wonderful place. The owners are very hands on and extremely nice. The location within Mendocino is great as everything is walking distance.

Super friendly owner, tasty breakfast, and an amazing location near the center of town (but still quiet). We stayed in the ADA room and it was in great condition and the bathroom was large and updated.

Enjoyed Seagull inn. Ian was warm and inviting. The breakfasts were to die for! Excellent. I’d go back. It was rustic and perfectly located. Great town and village. Thanks Ian hope to see you again.

Seagull Inn host, Ian, greeted us as old friends! Wonderful breakfast, great view of the ocean, and went to sleep to the sound of the surf breaking on the shore. Once the Mendocino Cafe next door has a very loud fan, starts about 8am and stops about 10pm. Was not a big deal for us as we were not in during the day and slept after the fan went off.

We loved our short stay - Scott was incredibly welcoming and made us some incredible muffins! The handmade breakfast was also great. Location is super central & the beds were SUPER comfy!

This is a lovely spot with a delightful garden. The staff was very accommodating. However, I am 5’8’ and when I sat on the toilet, my knees were up against the wall-mounted heater. Very uncomfortable. Breakfast was delicious, but it was continental - muffin and fruit - not what I have enjoyed at other B&Bs.

We booked last minute from the restaurant next door. This little b&b is super convenient and very nice. The rooms are beautiful and very well maintained and that may be the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Breakfast is light, but brought right to your room by friendly staff. The location is perfect for walking around town as well. Would definitely stay again.

Room was very quaint but small. Breakfast blueberry muffin was 2days old at least and orange juice probably came from an expiration date long gone. When we left our room for dinner in town a skunk ran out from under the front porch right in front us. Fortunate it did not spray. It obviously lives under the front porch. We told the staff about it the next morning and there was little or no concern. They said there are a lot of raccoons that raid the trash of the building next door behind the fence. That’s nice to know but I would not recommend staying at the Seagull until that skunk is trapped. Could have ruined the entire night for all the guests.

Our upstairs room had an ocean view. The inn's owner greeted us warmly and was very helpful with dining suggestions. The breakfast parfait was delicious. The downtown location was convenient and we spent several hours walking the town area. We will return to the Seagull Inn soon!
