Carolina Resort Motel

This motel is very out dated and looks nothing like the pictures posted on the site. If you want to access local television stations you are out of luck unless you have your own streaming service. Upon check in there were only two bath towels, no wash cloths or hand towels and no towels for the kitchenette. Our key was left in a mail box located across from the office and trying to reach a person was difficult. We spoke to a worker who assured us that we would receive a refund if we chose not to stay however have been ghosted by them since then. Despite them having taken our reservation, we later found that the motel is technically closed for the season and that they only kept a few rooms open to accommodate travel nurses. This would have been nice to know prior to us booking the room a few months in advance. I would not recommend this motel to anyone! If you’re hoping to open the windows to get fresh air or listen to the ocean forget it. The screens on both the windows and sliding door are in need of replacing.

That was good! Front of sea

I made a big mistake "booking" this hotel. 1st of all, it is no "resort" as it calls itself. 2 sets of towels for the weekend. 1 bar of soap and shampoo. They charged me $100 for a "mini bar" which included 2 sodas,2 beers, and 4 shots (which were probably stolen from an airplane. I was refunded the $100 after leaving. Pool was closed and beach chairs were locked down.

The property itself is dated but the view of the beach and being right on the beach was priceless! Thank you for allowing me to create memories for me and my family!

It was nothing like the pictures, roach motel. We left as it was too disgusting to stay. Traveled 3 hours for total disappointment
