We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Sudamala. Ruime kamer, goed bed, mooi balkon en omgeving, restaurant, rustig groot zwembad, massage, fietsen en service waren uitstekend! Enige minpuntje wat ik kan bedenken is dat je niet een eigen kopje koffie/thee kan maken. Vele hotels hebben dit. Verder genoten! Zeker een aanrader.

Staying at Sudamala Resort was a relaxing, comfortable, and overall high-quality experience. The staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The suites are well taken care of and aesthetically pleasing. The pool and lunch menu are fantastic. The spa is top tier. I really enjoyed the free yoga on Friday morning as well.

We loved Sudemala suites with its lovely ambiance and attention to detail. The pool area was relaxing, quiet and a good size. Our room was lovely with easy access to the pool and traditional decor. A great location in the quieter part of Sanur and close to beach and eating places.

The property is lovely. The bed/pillows the most comfortable we’ve had in Bali. The pool is great for lap swimming. Unfortunately, the room was very damp. The bedding feels damp to the touch. Nothing dries. They need dehumidifiers here.

Spacious villa with a beautiful central courtyard and pool. Serene and pristine condition with beautiful artwork, statues and water features. Hotel will leave you with a night time story every night on your bed which is a nice touch. Beach is only a five minute walk from the hotel with plenty of places to dine. The only complaint is if you book including breakfast, they do not include a sweet dish. However the Breakfast is nice with fresh juice served

The property is beautiful and well maintained. We liked the wonderful breakfast with a gamalon accompanyment. Staff were warm and helpful. The downsides are very long walks inside the huge property, no elevator, hot hallways and property, room was lovely but no lights in shower, bath area. Bathtub was loose and unsafe to use. Bathroom had odors. The bedroom was prefect. Near the beach with beach access so good choice for beach users. Restaurant offered us very bland and lackluster food for dinner. Would recommend looking for other nearby restaurants. We did not stay long enough to enjoy the beautiful pool and spa or other amenities.

Very welcoming and friendly staff in all areas. Great breakfast served a la carte. Nicely appointed rooms. Good sized pool. Although not on the beach it is not far away and once there they have their own area. Close to restaurants and supermarket. A fantastic stay and will definitely return.

The place has really nice surroundings, a large open garden and in general very spacious feeling. The room was also nice and spacious and in good condition. However, they could consider making more options to store unpacked clothing in closets or so. We did not have enough options for our clothes. Also, staying in Bali and suites oftentimes comes with an open bathroom to the outside, which is a nice touch, however, it would have been nice if the hotel considered providing mosquito repellent especially for the bathroom (which they did occasionally). It was not a problem for us, but something the hotel may consider. The staff is incredible professional and very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very nice and they have a lot of different and even healthy options, we really enjoyed our mornings and the breakfast options. The pool area was again large and spacious and even if the hotel can occupy several guests, you do not have the feeling that the pool area is busy or anything. On the contrary, the pool area is quiet, spacious and very nice with good sun beds, umbrellas and possibility to order food and beverages.

I stayed at Sudamala Resort in Sanur having travelled to Bali for the first time solo. I could not have felt more at ease and comforted by the staff and the premises. The hotel is well maintained and has an authentic Balinese feel. Would recommend to anyone.

The hotel is a little older but very clean and has a lot of space. The staff were all really lovely and helpful with any questions. I also really enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant.

This is a beautiful property with friendly attentive staff. It has a wonderful authentic feel. The daily a La Carte breakfast was delicious. Once here we booked an extra week we enjoyed it so much!!!!

We had one night at Sudamala before an early morning flight. Service was excellent and we loved all the little extra touches like the turn down service and bed time story. The location was great, walkable to the beach and a variety of restaurants and bars. The room itself was pretty good but could use a bit of refresh. And although the door was very beautiful it did not provide much sound proofing to the neighbouring rooster who started up at 3:30am (we unfortunately did not have ear plugs). We would recommend and stay again for longer next time.

I spent 3 nights at Sudamala resort as a solo traveler. My room was spacious, very clean and comfortable including all amenities I needed. What amazed me was the aesthetics of the rooms, the shared spaces of the resort and the paintings decorating every corner of the premises. The resort also holds an art gallery where it hosts exhibitions by multiple artists. Another unique experience for me was that breakfast is accompanied by two musicians playing live Balinese music using traditional musical instruments. I also had the best spa treatment ever - the 90 minutes Ayurvedic shirodhara treatment. The practitioner was exceptional and helped me a lot to relax head tension and overthinking. First she scrubbed my feet, then gave me an Ayurvedic full body massage and finished the treatment by pouring sesame oil to my head using the special shirodhara equipment. It was the most amazing experience I ever had in my life. To the weaknesses of the resort I would mention not soundproof rooms which means during full occupancy of the hotel there is noise you can’t escape. The taps in my bathroom need to be replaced as the cold tap wasn’t functioning ( the technicians had to come three times around 10 p.m to open and close the cold tap) the hot tap didn’t supply hot water just slightly warm. The pillows of the sun beds around the pool need cleaning. I also tried the spaghetti aglio olio by Ares restaurant at the garden but the dish didn’t meet the standards of fine cuisine.

We've stayed here twice now. The place has a nice quiet lovely elegance about it. As soon as you walk off the street the peacefulness is so welcoming. The decor of the rooms, the art work throughout the place, the ceramic lighting and all the fit out is beautiful. The staff are there but not in your face. Even though it was full it seemed like the place was essentially ours.

We loved Sudemala suites with its lovely ambiance and attention to detail. The pool area was relaxing, quiet and a good size. Our room was lovely with easy access to the pool and traditional decor. A great location in the quieter part of Sanur and close to beach and eating places.

We had one night at Sudamala before an early morning flight. Service was excellent and we loved all the little extra touches like the turn down service and bed time story. The location was great, walkable to the beach and a variety of restaurants and bars. The room itself was pretty good but could use a bit of refresh. And although the door was very beautiful it did not provide much sound proofing to the neighbouring rooster who started up at 3:30am (we unfortunately did not have ear plugs). We would recommend and stay again for longer next time.

What amazed me was the aesthetics of the rooms, the shared spaces of the resort and the paintings decorating every corner of the premises. The resort also holds an art gallery where it hosts exhibitions by multiple artists. Another unique experience for me was that breakfast is accompanied by two musicians playing live Balinese music using traditional musical instruments. I also had the best spa treatment ever - the 90 minutes Ayurvedic shirodhara treatment. The practitioner was exceptional and helped me a lot to relax head tension and overthinking. First she scrubbed my feet, then gave me an Ayurvedic full body massage and finished the treatment by pouring sesame oil to my head using the special shirodhara equipment. It was the most amazing experience I ever had in my life. To the weaknesses of the resort I would mention not soundproof rooms which means during full occupancy of the hotel there is noise you can’t escape. The taps in my bathroom need to be replaced as the cold tap wasn’t functioning ( the technicians had to come three times around 10 p.m to open and close the cold tap) the hot tap didn’t supply hot water just slightly warm. The pillows of the sun beds around the pool need cleaning. I also tried the spaghetti aglio olio by Ares restaurant at the garden but the dish didn’t meet the standards of fine cuisine.

The property is lovely. The bed/pillows the most comfortable we’ve had in Bali. The pool is great for lap swimming. Unfortunately, the room was very damp. The bedding feels damp to the touch. Nothing dries. They need dehumidifiers here.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. We liked the wonderful breakfast with a gamalon accompanyment. Staff were warm and helpful. The downsides are very long walks inside the huge property, no elevator, hot hallways and property, room was lovely but no lights in shower, bath area. Bathtub was loose and unsafe to use. Bathroom had odors. The bedroom was prefect. Near the beach with beach access so good choice for beach users. Restaurant offered us very bland and lackluster food for dinner. The place has really nice surroundings, a large open garden and in general very spacious feeling. The room was also nice and spacious and in good condition. However, they could consider making more options to store unpacked clothing in closets or so. We did not have enough options for our clothes. Also, staying in Bali and suites oftentimes comes with an open bathroom to the outside, which is a nice touch, however, it would have been nice if the hotel considered providing mosquito repellent especially for the bathroom (which they did occasionally). It was not a problem for us, but something the hotel may consider. The staff is incredible professional and very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very nice and they have a lot of different and even healthy options, we really enjoyed our mornings and the breakfast options. Staying at Sudamala Resort was a relaxing, comfortable, and overall high-quality experience. The staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The suites are well taken care of and aesthetically pleasing. The pool and lunch menu are fantastic. The spa is top tier. I really enjoyed the free yoga on Friday morning as well.

Excellent hotel, a little off the beaten track and catering for the more discerning crowd. We shared a palatial room that was very affordable. The staff are sensational. Highly recommend if you don’t want the standard intercontinental experience, but something a little more boutique

Very welcoming and friendly staff in all areas. Great breakfast served a la carte. Nicely appointed rooms. Good sized pool. Although not on the beach it is not far away and once there they have their own area. Close to restaurants and supermarket. A fantastic stay and will definitely return.

Beautifully appointed small resort. The gardens, rooms and pool are all beautiful. Staff are always friendly and helpful although we did start to get a bit annoyed by often being approached by staff to on sell their experiences and outings. This could be toned down. On the third night of our six night stay there was a dinner in the garden to which our room looked out onto with about 50 people. They had a live band also. We were not informed at the time of booking and to be honest had we been, we would not have booked this hotel. We complained to the staff and they promptly upgraded our room to a quieter part of the resort. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again after checking if they had any large dinners booked.

Sudamala is in an ideal location for exploring the Sanur area. Everything is walkable and there are tons of dining options nearby. The breakfast and spa at Sudamala were excellent. I would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel will leave you with a night time story every night on your bed which is a nice touch. Beach is only a five minute walk from the hotel with plenty of places to dine. The only complaint is if you book including breakfast, they do not include a sweet dish. However the Breakfast is nice with fresh juice served

Staying at Sudamala Resort was a relaxing, comfortable, and overall high-quality experience. The staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The suites are well taken care of and aesthetically pleasing. The pool and lunch menu are fantastic. The spa is top tier. I really enjoyed the free yoga on Friday morning as well.

This is a beautiful property with friendly attentive staff. It has a wonderful authentic feel. The daily a La Carte breakfast was delicious. Once here we booked an extra week we enjoyed it so much!!!!

I spent 3 nights at Sudamala resort as a solo traveler. My room was spacious, very clean and comfortable including all amenities I needed. What amazed me was the aesthetics of the rooms, the shared spaces of the resort and the paintings decorating every corner of the premises. The resort also holds an art gallery where it hosts exhibitions by multiple artists. Another unique experience for me was that breakfast is accompanied by two musicians playing live Balinese music using traditional musical instruments. I also had the best spa treatment ever - the 90 minutes Ayurvedic shirodhara treatment. The practitioner was exceptional and helped me a lot to relax head tension and overthinking. First she scrubbed my feet, then gave me an Ayurvedic full body massage and finished the treatment by pouring sesame oil to my head using the special shirodhara equipment. It was the most amazing experience I ever had in my life. To the weaknesses of the resort I would mention not soundproof rooms which means during full occupancy of the hotel there is noise you can’t escape. The taps in my bathroom need to be replaced as the cold tap wasn’t functioning ( the technicians had to come three times around 10 p.m to open and close the cold tap) the hot tap didn’t supply hot water just slightly warm. The pillows of the sun beds around the pool need cleaning. I also tried the spaghetti aglio olio by Ares restaurant at the garden but the dish didn’t meet the standards of fine cuisine.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. We liked the wonderful breakfast with a gamalon accompanyment. Staff were warm and helpful. The downsides are very long walks inside the huge property, no elevator, hot hallways and property, room was lovely but no lights in shower, bath area. Bathtub was loose and unsafe to use. Bathroom had odors. The bedroom was prefect. Near the beach with beach access so good choice for beach users. Restaurant offered us very bland and lackluster food for dinner. Would recommend looking for other nearby restaurants. We did not stay long enough to enjoy the beautiful pool and spa or other amenities.

The place has really nice surroundings, a large open garden and in general very spacious feeling. The room was also nice and spacious and in good condition. However, they could consider making more options to store unpacked clothing in closets or so. We did not have enough options for our clothes. Also, staying in Bali and suites oftentimes comes with an open bathroom to the outside, which is a nice touch, however, it would have been nice if the hotel considered providing mosquito repellent especially for the bathroom (which they did occasionally). It was not a problem for us, but something the hotel may consider. The staff is incredible professional and very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very nice and they have a lot of different and even healthy options, we really enjoyed our mornings and the breakfast options. The pool area was again large and spacious and even if the hotel can occupy several guests, you do not have the feeling that the pool area is busy or anything. On the contrary, the pool area is quiet, spacious and very nice with good sun beds, umbrellas and possibility to order food and beverages.

Our stay at Sudamala Sanur was a mixed experience. The resort is in a convenient location, with easy access to restaurants, cafés, and grocery shops, and the setting itself is peaceful and pleasant. I booked few months in advance and contacted the resort several times to clarify the diving arrangements, but unfortunately received little or no response. Even shortly before our arrival, I tried contacting the resort through WhatsApp without receiving a clear answer. I eventually found out that there was no dive centre on site. Had this been communicated earlier, I could have made alternative arrangements in advance. For a property classified and marketed as five-star, I expected a more responsive level of customer service, particularly before arrival. The resort itself also feels somewhat dated for a five-star property. The rooms are clean but could use updating, and having only one accessible power outlet is inconvenient in today’s digital age. The towels also did not always appear as fresh as expected. We found the food disappointing compared with another four-star hotel we stayed at in Ubud, especially considering the prices. The beach is accessible by a walk from the resort, which is pleasant in good weather but less convenient during hot or rainy conditions. Overall, the location is excellent and the resort has a peaceful atmosphere, but the communication before arrival, dated facilities, room amenities, and value for money did not quite match 5star rating.

직원들 모두 너무 친절하셨고, 조식이 정말 맛있습니다. 제 다이빙 일정을 고려해서 7시인 조식 시간보다 30분이나 앞서서 조식을 준비해주었고, 조식 먹으러 오지 못한 일행의 조식은 도시락으로 정성스레 준비해주었습니다. 조식 시간에 전통 악기를 연주해주시는데 그 음악이 정말 아름다워요. 비치 사이드가 아닌 점이 유일한 단점이긴 하지만 메인거리도 가깝고 비치도 걸어서 갈 수 있어서 크게 불편하지 않았습니다. 분위기가 너무 차분하고 따뜻한 호텔입니다. 사누르에 다시 간다면 조식 때문이라도 다시 갈 것 같은 호텔이예요. It was exceptional from start to finish. The property is gorgeous and very well-maintained. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious with many choices every day. And upon check-out, they hold your bags, and you can use all the amenities, including an amazing private outdoor shower and changing room in their spa, before you get on a long flight. I have never stayed in such an incredible place at an affordable price. I highly recommend Sudamala Sanur and hope to return soon.
