"Gracious plenty" is the phrase that keeps coming to mind as we leave the Sampler B&B and try to figure out when to visit again. Highly recommend this cozy spot with welcoming common areas full of years of interesting items without being kitschy or out of touch.

The suite we stayed in really needs updating. The shower did not match the luxurious description on the website. The carpet was in need of replacement. I literally found a large, dead roach right by the foot of the bed upon check-in -- how was this missed by housekeeping? The tvs and remotes were very difficult to navigate and internet slow. I removed the top cover from the bed, as it appeared as though not washed and used sheets and a cotton blanket. The windows really needed cleaning and removal of cobwebs. I found a seashell, a penny, a dead bug, and more that had been missed by housekeeping. I thoroughly checked everything because our dog would find it if I didn’t. The outside spaces needed cleaning and power washing. The only thing going for this inn is the location. Very, very convenient to William and Mary. Use caution when booking.
