Robin Hood Motel

Bedding was horrible. Pillow shams with no pillow cases under them. Insufficient blanket despite that the room was freezing when the air conditioner was on, but too hot when it was off. Pool was not in service and was covered up and unsightly. Shower was way too small. Generally it is a run down property that charged too much.

Stayed at this Motel for our 3 day visit to Saratoga Springs. It was cheaper than most Hotels in the area. It was pretty nice, considering how small the Motel is. Room was very clean. The owner/workers were very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom is small and could use some updates. Could use some newer mattresses on the beds. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay. Pool was nice for outdoor swimming. They have microwave and fridgerator in room. They have a continental breakfast in the office until 11am, which was convenient. They need to add Kleenex/tissue to the rooms. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Very basic motel with no extras (breakfast, WIFI, coffee maker, etc), although it did have a frig and microwave. Good value for the price.

While the facilities are a bit dated, they are clean and comfortable. A basic motel room. The grounds in the back are nice. Park like. Tables, chairs and a couple grills. Screened porch. The owner/manager was very helpful. Was a last minute choice at the end of a long day of motorcycle riding. Ended up being a perfect choice.

This is a charming and relaxing place; I thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay. King is so major, and your every need is met. It is kept clean and is well maintained. Now the rooms are tiny.. a bigger person than me would not fit in the shower lol. It is a tiny bit of a challenge but didn't bother me.. it's like a cabin with coffee all day long in the office. Lots of Adirondack chairs outside your room, dedicated and then scattered in the back, park- like area w a grill and picnic table, a gazebo, trash bins always cleaned. I enjoyed the front in the sun outside, and the back in the shade. There is a cut through from front to back by the office, which is open until 8pm; King is always available to help with anything and you just have to call. Very quaint imo. King is the best.

Well not my first choice to stay, it is convenient for a spot to stay, it is somewhat small of a room, plus no deadbolt on the door. 😔 Nice spot to smoke outside but when its cold out not fun. A nice spot for overnight but not to make the center of my vacation

While we staying at this property our room had no heat for the first 3 nights and although we complained, the manager finally brought in a space heater on the 4th day. Also since the housekeeper is only paid to clean the room, we had no one cleaning our room during our stay. We would never spend good money to stay there again even though it is under construction and unfortunately still open during a very noisy and disruptive time. Oh and some of the rooms now have new heaters.

No wifi, no smoke detector, people smoking in their room doorway, broken window shades, no blanket on bed, and poor customer service.

During the 9 hours I spent in the room, I killed a dozen bugs of all kinds. I just couldnt sleep with all of that. Got maybe 3 hours of actual sleep as a result. Gentleman at the front desk was nice and personable though. Just not sure what he coudl have done Thankfully the tv had a good set of channels and i just watched tv bcs i couldnt sleep. Washed my face in the morning and promptly left. That said, for rhe price i did pay through Expedia, it was decent value.

Disgusting, stepped in vomit walking to our room, slept on top of dirty blankets, the owner literally was in his underwear when he checked us in

opened the door and immediately needed to get a towel from the bathroom to swat at the flying bugs that were on the walls and ceiling. bathroom shower floor had black mold & a giant spider on the wall. the room smelled musty and moldy. left immediately and found another place to stay.

I can't understand all the reviews on this place ?? I have been a member with Hotels.com for 20 years and would never of booked it except for reviews !! This place was so bad. Luckily I brought bug spray & Lysol & Lysol wipes otherwise I would of slept in the car.Unfortunately we arrived after dark and that only made it worse!! After cleaning the place I tried to shower and showerhead falling off the wall and drain backed up so your standing in 3" of water waiting to flood the place plus scummy shower curtain too. Went to sleep there were 2 small double beds. So buggy inside and out that in the middle of the night I got up for more bug spray turned on the lights to check the sheets and there were black hairs and dead bugs in my bed. I crawled into the other bed it was fiasco ! Next day tried to speak to owner who told me he us not responsible for my happiness ! I said well what about my safety? At that time He would not give us another room or a refund as I had booked 3 nights. I tried to contact Hotels.com but you only get a virtual chat and an auto-response that the hotel would contact me. We left for the day and he never contacted me that night we went back & took our stuff. We found another place to stay. A place that on here had terrible reviews but was a great place. There was a note on the door telling me he had another room with a queen but we had already booked elsewhere and I was out of Lysol anyway. Did not return room key until Saturday. So ripped-off. So upset $

I have to say, this is the cleanest motel I've ever experienced! Very fresh smelling and clean. Our host was exceedingly friendly, and had recommendations about local restaurants. Very comfortable beds and comfy bedding.

I had asked for a room in a quiet location. My room was on the noisy road side of the motel instead of on the quieter back side, and it was right next to the noisy ice machine. ALSO, he Roku TV system was terrible. I couldn't even get the network TV stations. This motel is an inexpensive option and you get what you pay for.....a very minimal motel.

Budget friendly, nice staff and property. Bathroom wasn’t as clean as expected. Relaxing and comfortable setting. Took us about 12 minutes to get into the Main Street in Saratoga Springs.

Basic good accommodations at a reasonable price. Room was small but had very comfortable beds and chair, and a large bureau if one had a longer stay. Room had the basics: TV, refrigerator, but not much room to use the table and only one chair, but really not room for more. Bathroom also small but well planned, lots of nice hot water.

A little pricey. Needs remodeling its still in the 70s

I enjoyed my 2-night stay at The Robin Hood Motel. The room was clean, the shower water pressure was excellent, the manager was friendly and helpful. My room was in the back with a wooded area across the parking lot which was a very pleasant view. I would stay here again.

Old dingy rooms- bathroom to small. Small bathroom towels and room wasn’t made up or addressed the following day.

Economical, clean, convenient to town. Room condition a little rough. Beds comfortable.

Awful management. No closet to hang clothes. Bathroom the size of a phone booth. Depressing place. Did not stay.

Staff was very nice. It's the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. It's smoking free and people do smoke out side. There are little shops around the area that are in walking distances.
