The location is nice, the room was okay. The shower alternated between very hot and very cold, there was no WiFi information in the room, and the heater wouldn’t turn on (could’ve been user error I suppose). It is above a pub so it is quite noisy, and there was live music as well which made it a bit more noisy than expected to no one’s fault. If you want to eat at this pub on the nights you stay be sure to book a reservation as it was full and we had to eat elsewhere. Breakfast is to included, nor is parking but the car park is nearby and only 4£

We loved the location, which is absolutely perfect, right in the centre of Broadway. The room was ideal for two friends staying for one night, and the beds were very comfortable. It would be really helpful if it were made clearer in advance that there is no parking at the property and that guests need to use a nearby pay-and-display car park. When we arrived, this car park was very busy, with a long queue of cars waiting for people to leave and spaces to become available. There were a few small but easily rectified issues that slightly let the room down. Given the inn’s location in such an upmarket area, these weren’t quite what we had expected. The sash windows had a considerable amount of black mould, which is common in older buildings, but more regular cleaning would make a noticeable difference, particularly as the tea and coffee facilities were positioned on the window sill. Unfortunately, we were also unable to use them as no milk was provided. In the bathroom, the toilet seat would benefit from being replaced, as the yellow staining around it detracted from the overall impression of cleanliness. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and feel that with a few small improvements, the experience could be even better.

Lovely little quirky old English pub accommodation. Very comfortable. Basic facilities in a very good way with thoughtful additions such as a fan, hairdrier, full length mirror, big bath towels. Room 1 had a very spacious bathroom.

The Crown and Trumpet is a good old fashioned English pub set in the beautifully presented Cotswold village of Broadway. It was refreshing to see it representing an authenticity that is very much lacking in an admittedly highly attractive town that in its present day version represents Chelsea in the Cotswolds more than an historic old town. The staff at the inn are super friendly and efficient and go out of their way to make sure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Meals are reasonably priced and the portions represent good value, certainly compared to other “more prestigious” places in the High Street. Of course, you don’t get the luxury offered in other establishments but you get value for money and a quaint quirkiness that provides an authentic and genuine feeling. One thing to be aware of is that there is no onsite parking but there are long and short stay car parks close by that are free between 6pm and 8am. Long stay car parks are £4 for 8 hours (covering the whole day before the free period kicks in) and tickets for both types of car park can be purchased the evening before to avoid rushing out before 8am.

I have traveled extensively and can say without a doubt that this is the worst place I have ever stayed. Room was cold, shower was unstable and cycled between boiling hot and freezing cold, room did not get made up for the next day, and when I asked for clean towels I was told there were none available. A disgrace to English accomodations!

This is a pub with rooms just away from the main buzz of Broadway. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. The room represented poor value and to say bang average would be generous. It was small and cramped in every respect. In summary I would eat and drink here but not stay.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and feel that with a few small improvements, the experience could be even better.

The Crown and Trumpet is a good old fashioned English pub set in the beautifully presented Cotswold village of Broadway. It was refreshing to see it representing an authenticity that is very much lacking in an admittedly highly attractive town that in its present day version represents Chelsea in the Cotswolds more than an historic old town. The staff at the inn are super friendly and efficient and go out of their way to make sure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Meals are reasonably priced and the portions represent good value, certainly compared to other “more prestigious” places in the High Street. Of course, you don’t get the luxury offered in other establishments but you get value for money and a quaint quirkiness that provides an authentic and genuine feeling. One thing to be aware of is that there is no onsite parking but there are long and short stay car parks close by that are free between 6pm and 8am. We loved the location, which is absolutely perfect, right in the centre of Broadway. The room was ideal for two friends staying for one night, and the beds were very comfortable. The pub itself was cosy and welcoming, the food was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It would be really helpful if it were made clearer in advance that there is no parking at the property and that guests need to use a nearby pay-and-display car park. When we arrived, this car park was very busy, with a long queue of cars waiting for people to leave and spaces to become available. There were a few small but easily rectified issues that slightly let the room down. Given the inn’s location in such an upmarket area, these weren’t quite what we had expected. The position was great. The staff very friendly, great. The room clean old deliberate design nice cozy . Bed a little squeaky but in caricature. Food was fantastic well worth money for area. Down side no on site parking but very close. And when people left pub end of night noisy and noisy outside. Would still stay again.

Was a fabulous place to stay - from the moment we walked in it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff were super friendly. We were staying after running a marathon and it was ideal for relaxing with drinks in front of the fire. Good pub food too

A very typical "local" pub just off the High Street in Broadway. We had been told there was no parking but to use the short stay car park a couple of minutes walk away. This was free between 6pm and 8am but thankfully I found I could pay from when we arrived at 5.15pm up to 11.15am the next morning. This was a positive as I wasn't looking forward to dashing out early to top up the money. A reasonable double room at the side where it was quiet after pub closing. All was clean though we did think the towels felt damp though they could just have been a bit cold as the window was open. There weren't quite enough rails or hooks in the bathroom for the towels to open out overnight to get dry. The mattress was particularly spongy as we both prefer a firm one. The pillows were very thick and firm. We ate dinner in the pub which was good pub grub and served quickly. We had to preorder our breakfast the night before. I don't mind doing this when it is a small place as this was, but the downside on this occasion was that I woke up with labyrinthitis which causes dizziness and sickness. I really couldn't do breakfast justice although my husband thoroughly enjoyed his. We swapped a few items to suit me. Checkout time was stated 10.30am. Ususally I like to be gone by 10am but being poorly it took us a while to pack etc. When we finally left our room key with the chamber maid about 10.10am, we found the proprietor and his wife equally as friendly as all the other staff, and had long chat

This is a pub not a hotel on arrival told carpark was on another street and pay and display which needs replenishment every 4 hours if the room was any smaller you wouldn’t get 2 people in it not possible to dress in bathroom to small one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in and I travel a lot booked for 2 nights checked out after 1night not a nice experience
