It feels unfair to need to leave a lower review, as the hotel and room were quite nice. We travelled as 3 adults in the "family room" as it was called at the desk, even though the listing was for a "deluxe room". The only entrance to the bathroom was through the main room, so if you are traveling as adults, make sure you're all very comfortable with each other!! We made do. However, upon arrival there was a large funfair across the road, which meant all the free parking was not available. We managed to park just down the road from the hotel, but the noise from the fair was very loud. Despite being in the annex building way at the back, the bass from the "DJ contest" was extremely disruptive to our sleep. This party went on until 3am (which the event was given permission for). This is not the fault of the hotel, however, it would have been nice to be told before arrival (or at the time of booking) that parking would be limited, and it will be noisy. Because of this poor communication, I cannot rate the stay very well, if we had known this was going on, we would have booked elsewhere. If you are planning to visit in September, make sure you check if the Poelfeesten is on if you want a good night's sleep!

I made a mistake on the dates when I reserved this room. I actually showed up a week early. The owner said no problem and gave us beautiful room. The building was the former city hall and they have completely remodeled the building into a great hotel. Rooms look brand new, spacious with the nicest attached bathroom that I have ever seen in a hotel. This is a wonderful hotel. You can not go wrong with this hotel! We loved it!

Hotel kamer en voorzieningen waren top. Nette en schone kamer, met airco. Alleen de prijs van het ontbijt is hoog. Voor €20 heb je op andere locaties meestal een groot ontbijt buffet.
