Great hotel, wonderful breakfast but the location is not very near to anything actually

There were ants in the room ( on the couch) which were crawling on me. However, they did move us and since I order the room from hotel.com the only available offered was a late check out. I guess it was alright. A discount or a discount on a future room would have been nice. The place was recommended by my cousin that lives in Brooklyn. If I would have booked from their site I would have gotten a discount or free night.

Our room had a full kitchen and huge outdoor terrace. Street parking was easy, spots readily available. Great restaurants walking distance.

Great hotel. However, for an early check-in request for my elderly parents, they didn't accommodate. My parents who just flew in for 21+ hours flight, needed to rest so I requested for the early check-in (only an hour earlier than the regular check-in time). It was not that the rooms were not available. It's just that the hotel management didn't allow. With an additional charge (1/3 of nightly charge) , I got the early check-in for my parents.

The hotel is located on a quieter street in Brooklyn, with a small grocery store located on the next corner. The decor in the hotel is fun and brightly decorated, lots of interesting art pieces. We appreciated the comfortable bed in our room and beautiful city view. The restaurant/bar in the lobby offered coffee in the morning, and breakfast for a fee, which we didn’t have. Coffee was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.
