We absolutely loved staying here from the welcoming staff at reception to the open fire places in the community area to toast marshmallows! We also had a couple of local feathered friends fly in to have a feed of bird seed we purchased from reception. We loved seeing all the animals in the park echidna, kookaburra, Rufus, lovers and their babies, parrots just to name a few. We are already planning our next trip back.

Port Arthur holiday park was an ideal place to stay to enjoy a couple of nights away with our family … great facilities kids took their bikes, wood fired pizza oven, plenty of bbq’s lots of wildlife, short walk to Stewart’s Bay and a longer walk to the Port Arthur site .. stargazer tents were fantastic looking forward to returning

Stayed in the Peninsula Cabin with lovely water views through the trees from the veranda. Cabin was spotless. Nice little kitchenette, two bedrooms & spacious bathroom with spa bath. Separate shower with excellent water pressure. Fabulous gas fire heater that kept us warm at night. 5 min drive to Port Arthur Historic Sight. Loved the flora & fauna right at our back door, particularly the pademelons & bird life. Great walking track behind the property. Highly recommended.

There was a bit of dust around the inside and a bit of a sewer smell outside, otherwise thw cabin itself was quite nice & the kids loved the bunk hidy hole

Studio rooms are very poorly set up. Less than two foot between end of the bed and the fridge and the sink is under the microwave also at the end of the bed.

We loved seeing the many furry little wallaby-like Fucous critters around the park. The place was clean and warm. Unfortunately we could not get wifi in the cabin we stayed in which was disappointing. Otherwise we were very happy. The nearby Fox and Hound was described/recommended as "pub food" which I guess it was, but we weren't thrilled with it and found it to be pretty expensive. Port Arthur was exceptional!

Overnight stay at NRMA Port Arthur Holiday Park in a Studio Cabin. It was a bit on the small side (especially the bathroom) but it was clean, warm, modern and nicely furnished. WiFi was good too.

Our cabin was very good, the weather wasn’t which did impact our stay as it was cold despite the fire. Had it been warmer we could have utilised the outdoor space more. Lovely to have so much wildlife around. The main problem is the tents are close together and when we arrived the noise from next door was bad, just kids being kids but we could hear everything.

If you are a glam camper then you will like this place. It is beautiful, the tent is very pretty, with its fake fire, outside star gazing bath and well set out pretty tent. It was a bit cold even with the aircon heater on but if you are used to camping that won’t bother you so much. Just rug up for bed. The outside bath is absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable. The grounds have wild wallabies, birds and other wildlife. It’s close to the historic Port Arthur site being only a 5 min drive away. Places to eat are only a short drive away as well. The bed is uncomfortable however so I’m glad I only stayed the one night but if they get a better mattress and warm the place up a bit more the place will be perfect for even non camper type campers. It was a great experience. It was safe, quiet, pretty and I am so glad that I did it. It is set up perfectly for a bbq, a full kitchen, dining table, bathroom and shower, hair dryer, tv ( didn’t use it), outside bath (the best), all that you could personally need is in the pretty tent which for a tent is huge and well layed out. The 4 posted bed and overall aesthetic is lovely. I had a great time there even though the sleep wasn’t the best because of the mattress. I would still recommend it as an experience. The staff were lovely.

Everything in the studio cabin was in as new condition, well equipt and clean. Staff were all lovely. A little noisy through the walls, but overall the area was peaceful. Great location with lots of wildlife.

A lovely overnight stay in a waterfront cabin. Beautiful view. Very quiet location. Stayed on a Sunday night and there wasn’t a lot of choice for dinner with many closed Sunday/Monday so ended up with takeaway shop being our only option which shut at 8pn daylight savings time.

Estate was in a studio room in a cabin, shared with two other studios. Our state was fine, the room was clean. We did have an issue with a circuit breaker being tripped, but the after hours person handled it just fine.

Welcoming staff upon arrival. I stayed in one of the safari tent cabins. It was very nice. Clean and cozy. I stayed one night, but could have easily stayed a few more. Lovely view of the bay from the balcony and some beautiful birds in surrounding trees. Close to the Port Arthur Historic Site and Lavender Farm. Highly recommend to others. I was solo travelling the area and felt very safe.

The unit was tidy and reasonably maintained. It had a comfortable bed and was well equipped, however the refrigerator did not keep food cold, no matter what setting we used. Booking with the site was difficult as was checking in.

Place was fine. Check-in was strange that reception was open until 6pm but got a text before 5pm staying keys in safe. On arrival went to see reception but told key in safe outside. If you’re reception is open until 6pm and people arrive before it closes, how about a friendly reception welcome and getting keys from inside the reception, not a ‘you should have got a SMS and keys are in the safe outside’. If reception is open until 6, then it should be open until 6 for check-in, not just to buy food/drink

The manager(comes from Brazil and Stayed in Taiwan for two years before) and staff in the reception was fantastic! Couldn’t be happier with these kind full staffs, never regret to chose to stay here! If I’ll have a chance again I’ll still come and stay again, thanks for the hospitality and generosity!

Welcoming staff upon arrival. I stayed in one of the safari tent cabins. It was very nice. Clean and cozy. I stayed one night, but could have easily stayed a few more. Lovely view of the bay from the balcony and some beautiful birds in surrounding trees. Close to the Port Arthur Historic Site and Lavender Farm. Highly recommend to others. I was solo travelling the area and felt very safe.

Stayed in the Peninsula Cabin with lovely water views through the trees from the veranda. Cabin was spotless. Nice little kitchenette, two bedrooms & spacious bathroom with spa bath. Separate shower with excellent water pressure. Fabulous gas fire heater that kept us warm at night. 5 min drive to Port Arthur Historic Sight. Loved the flora & fauna right at our back door, particularly the pademelons & bird life. Great walking track behind the property. Highly recommended.

very pleasant first glamping experience. Modern facilities, including a good shower area - strong water pressure and fast hot water. But the toiletries were small tubes so lucky I brought own body wash, else would not be enough. No Housekeeping, but 2 days worth of towels were provided. very spacious and warm. The bed area was a bit chilly during wind gusts as the walls were canvas and the heaters somehow didn't warm the area. But not an issue as the bed blanket helped. Rest of the room was warm cos of 2 other heaters blowing. Liked the gestures of biscuits left in cookie jars. Were good snacks for breakfast. Nearby to good restaurants though had to drive in the dark. Morning woken up by birds's calls and seeing colourful parrots at our balcony were very welcoming. There's a 10 min walking path (very much bush walk) to the beach within the site. Wouldnt attempt this walk in the dark though. Laundry facilities also right on site. Very convenient to wash and dry. Can change coins at reception. It was exciting experience as during our stay was a very windy and gusty night. We were wondering if the tent would fly off! But very sturdy. Own carpark right at the front. Memorable and lovely stay

We loved seeing the many furry little wallaby-like Fucous critters around the park. The place was clean and warm. Unfortunately we could not get wifi in the cabin we stayed in which was disappointing. Otherwise we were very happy. The nearby Fox and Hound was described/recommended as "pub food" which I guess it was, but we weren't thrilled with it and found it to be pretty expensive. Port Arthur was exceptional!

Port Arthur holiday park was an ideal place to stay to enjoy a couple of nights away with our family … great facilities kids took their bikes, wood fired pizza oven, plenty of bbq’s lots of wildlife, short walk to Stewart’s Bay and a longer walk to the Port Arthur site .. stargazer tents were fantastic looking forward to returning

The stargazing safari tent was amazing. Just the attention to detail and it was cosy and warm. It was alittle too cold to enjoy the bathtub. The kitchenette had the equipment to self cater which we did due to limited dining options. Would highly recommend this property for the excellent accommodation and driving proximity to Port Arthur historical sight. As we were doing specifically the ghost tour, that was the reason for staying the night in port arthur. If there was one small issue, it would be that our tent covered the whole outdoor area, so there was no stargazing however friends of ours had a different tent and theirs yiu ciuld star gaze. Ours was better if it was to rain. It didn't though.

A lovely overnight stay in a waterfront cabin. Beautiful view. Very quiet location. Stayed on a Sunday night and there wasn’t a lot of choice for dinner with many closed Sunday/Monday so ended up with takeaway shop being our only option which shut at 8pn daylight savings time.

We stayed only one night in the accessible Garden Room and for what we paid for it was excellent. It was very close to the Port Arthur Historic site and a few shops up the road for food. The only thing we felt could have been better was the pillows. These were a bit hard for our liking, the bed however, was comfortable (soft). I wish all motels and hotels would offer a greater selection of pillows.

The room was spacious and clean. Had an issue with ants, told the manager and he was onto his guy asap, he nearly beat me back to the room! Facilities were excellent and parking onsite.

Very clean little cabin.No complaints at all. We only stayed one night as we had booked to do the Port arthur ghost tour. Only negative was the very loud movements of heavy vehicles at 11:30pm right outside our cabin, other than that our 1 night stay was pleasant warm and comfortable we even had a friendly little visitor come to say hello.
